After experiencing some of the worst accommodations during our time in Coron and El Nido, we were honestly feeling drained and disappointed. So when we left Coron and came across Jaicob, we knew right away that we had to book it for our return from El Nido – and it turned out to be the best decision we made all trip. Walking into Jaicob felt like finally breathing fresh air again. We were overjoyed to find a clean, comfortable bed complete with a proper duvet (something we had sorely missed) and a spotless bathroom that actually gave off a hotel feel – not something we took for granted after the last few nights. It was exactly what we needed to recharge after days full of excursions and island hopping. The space was cozy, peaceful, and gave us that sense of comfort and care that had been missing from other places we stayed. Every little detail made a difference – it felt like someone actually cared about the guest experience. If you're traveling through Palawan and want a place that feels like a real retreat, don’t skip Jaicob. It was our little oasis, and we’ll always remember it for turning our trip around.

If they clean the aircon.. it was full of dust.

Given the name, we were expecting something a bit more luxurious—but overall, it was an okay stay. The hotel is in a great location, right in the center of Coron, which made it easy to get around. The staff were friendly and very welcoming. They also arranged all our tours, which were well-organized and enjoyable.

The room didn’t live up to the photos. The furniture, facilities, and air conditioning all felt very dated and worn out. While the staff were kind and welcoming once we arrived, communication beforehand was really difficult. It took ages to get any responses, which made planning frustrating. As for the food—honestly, I’d recommend skipping it. The quality was disappointing, and you're better off eating out elsewhere.

We had a great stay at Jai-Cobs Suites in Coron! The location is fantastic—right in the middle of Coron town proper and close to the church. It was such a unique experience to wake up to the sound of the early morning sermon and the smell of fresh pandesal in the air. It’s also the perfect spot if you’re planning to hike Mt. Tapyas, with plenty of shops nearby to explore. The WiFi was surprisingly strong, which was a big plus for staying connected. The staff, including the front desk and security guards, were very friendly and helpful. They made us feel welcome right away and even greeted us with a refreshing glass of calamansi juice at check-in. You can also rent almost anything you need from them, which made things really convenient. We didn’t try the breakfast, but we did enjoy a massage at the hotel. While the massage itself was relaxing, they didn’t have proper massage beds, so it might be worth going elsewhere if that’s a priority for you. One downside is that everything is cash-only, so if you’re booking tours or private vans like we did, make sure to have enough cash or plan a trip to the ATM. Overall, Jai-Cobs Suites is a great option in Coron, with its perfect location, strong WiFi, and welcoming staff. We’d definitely stay here again!

- Great location. Close to town centre. Only around 5 mins walk to where the tours starts. - 2 a/c in our room. Hot water shower. Comfy beds. - They can pick you up at the airport for pennies. - Receptionists always nice. Greets you everytime you come in. - Security guard at night time. - I don't normally book tours through hotel as they're always more expensive (I can speak Tagalog) but this one had really competitve prices.

- Bathroom was quite small and only separated by a shower curtain. That's fine but the floor was not even slightly tilted to let all of the water drain. - Sink is tiny. - Water on the ground floor always empty. - I know it's Coron but you could stay in a 4* hotel in Cebu / Manila for the same price.

I checked at night, stayed 3 nights, 2 days. Hotel staff were all super friendly, responsive and helpful. The room I was assigned was in the back away from the street, It was comfortable, firm non-sagging bed, hot water and cold water sink (rare in the Philippines), quiet enough with stylish relaxing interior design and furnishings. ACs work great but make noise like many do in life. I wore ear plugs like I usually do anywhere and I slept fine. Security was also cordial and professional, I felt very safe here. This is in a great location in central Coron, walking distance to everywhere central. I just ate their breakfast (French toast) and it was light and tasty. I highly recommend this hotel and I would definitely stay here again.

Only two issues (one, which they pre-advised me about)...Wi-Fi is not the same strength on all floors. Hotel owners should install Wi-Fi signal extender devices inside to resolve this issue. Second, installing a shower curtain to keep the water from spraying all over the toilet and the rest of the CR bathroom floor is advised and helpful.

For a really nice accommodation the facilities had exceeded our expectations. I read the reviews of the room size but they were bigger than we initially thought, adding on the AC in the rooms were really good. The only fault were the ACs outside of the rooms werent as good but they were bearable. Laundry service was also amazing, good price and can be finished same day if you provide them before 8am. Honestly laundry really helped if you intend to do Island tours. The staff was really really really helpful and accommodating, if there were issues with your tour they handled it, arranged shuttle to and back to the airport, renting beach towels, the massage services was top notch and good price. Although they only have 2 spots for the massage in the massage room, they can also provide massages in your own room. Overall one of the best hotels I've ever been to, great service, staff, everything. :)

Bed was slightly hard but did not matter much since after the tours you would most likely sleep straight away.

Great location right in the main street with all the restaurants, etc. The rooms are small (stayed in the suite) but super clean and got everything you need. Staff is friendly and trying to help where needed. The breakfast was good (excapt for the suuuper sweet Green juice) but good value and we where happy with the portions. They did our laundry quick and it smelled nice, was dry and folded. Could see sunset from our window. All in all good value for money.

The AC was super loud and bright and right next to the bed. So it needed some time to get used too. They did offer a new room but without window so we chose to stayed for the nice sunset view.

Nice clean room. The staff were very friendly and organised a shared shuttle to the airport for 250 pesos each. The breakfast was very nice and affordable. The location of the property is right in the centre of Coron, very close to bars and restaurants, and the port for any trips.

The room was quite small, it didn’t bother us too much as it had adequate storage. The design of the bathroom meant the whole bathroom floor would get wet whilst talking a shower. The air-con was very loud, and would make loud noises. We were situated on the ground floor, and the WiFi was very poor in our room.

We had a great stay, the staff were friendly and very helpful, arranging tours and airport transfers which was great. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice each morning. The room was well equipped and very clean, and the shower had great water pressure which was a first in our travel through the Philippines! We would definitely recommend a stay in Jai-cobs Suites while in Coron Town.

Unfortunately the WiFi was pretty poor, and some of our laundry was returned stained, which was a real shame.

A great place for a short stay. We spent one night before continuing our journey, and it served its purpose well. The hotel is centrally located, close to many restaurants and shops, yet the room was quiet. The shared van airport transfer was affordable at 250 pesos. The room was clean and very budget-friendly.

The room was extremely small and lacked a proper window. The facilities were a bit outdated, with a noisy air conditioner. The bathroom and shower were not separated, meaning everything got wet when showering.
