We arrived by ferry from Manila in the early morning and had no hotel booked yet. The only places you got for around 20€ were either dormitories or very bad rated guesthouses. We were very happy to have found EcoLodge which was located in the center of the center. We had breakfast and waited until a room was ready. At 11:00 o’clock we could check in. Restaurants, bars, shops, bank, etc. everything around the area. The music next door stops playing at 23:00. White sheets, clean room. Friendly staff and a window in room 209. Definitely a good budget stay with everything you need. Nice mid-century bedside table. Wifi worked great. Shower water pressure ok.

The bathroom could use some attention. Shower curtain and sink definitely need an upgrade. The electricity plugs (we found only two) were totally worn out so you had to squeeze the plug between the table and the wall. Once out of ten it worked. Missed wall hooks in the bathroom though they had a rail and hangers in the main room. All in all the stay was great!

Location is superb restaurant and bar is nearby Breakfast is a la carte but I prefer Philippines food

Aircond is super noisy we must turn to 2 or 3 quiet so it make hot in room. Pls fix this problem cause your hotel is perfect!

Location is right in the middle of the city. Easy access to everything. The dock is only 5 mins walk away. Lot's of food right on the street of the hotel. Rooms were okay, comfortable enough to sleep in and rest for the night.

It's right next to a bar, so depending on your room, you might hear the live band playing at night. It usually stops around 11 pm though. And it didn't bother us, as we were quite tired from the tours of the day.

- hot water for the shower (it's rare in the Philippines) - nice staff - central location - clean room - shared van to the airport for a good price

- surrounding is noisy with loud music but it stops around 10pm so it's not too bad - not a nice view from my window

The room was comfortable and good size, very clean. The hotel is pleasant and staff helpful. Location is just perfect, in a lively street with restaurants and pubs. We booked all the tours through the hotel.

Because of the location, way too much noise. Wifi doesn't work at the rooms and hardly at the reception. The sign at the door to clean the room doesn't really do anything, you need to remember to ask to make the room - otherwise they won't.

staff was very friendly and helpful: arranged necessities such as van to the airport, scooter and some trips. place was clean and tidy. very good location: close to a pub with good live music, near locally brewed beer pub, can get brewed coffee just across the street.

Facilities could be better, f.ex some shelves for clothing or other things. hangers for bathroom, floor in the bathroom is not sloped correctly thus there is always water standing after shower. Breakfast could be improved.

Breakfast was adequate. Room was nice, just don’t expect much, such as hairdryer (which I don’t really use so it was okay, not sure if you could borrow from the hotel), location was superb (literally next to several pubs and restaurants, so expect some late night music approx5 8-11PM). Staffs were exceptional, always ready to extend a helping hand, to give directions, and to make your stay a little bit better. Beds were okay.

What you see is what you get. Rooms were ok including the beds, what I didn’t like is the bathroom. The shower curtain seem to not doing its purpose and they drain outside the shower area is not the best, so it was always flooded when I take a shower. The room I got (and I suppose is applicable to every room as well) is not soundproof, you could hear music from outside late at night.

The staff. Exemplary service. Jianne the frondesk greeted me with a big warm smile. She made me feel welcome and at home. Vergel the room attendant made sure that my room is always tidy. Every after my island tour i came back to my room very neat and very inviting to sleep from being tired from all the day activities.
