- The hotel was clean and the staff were always super friendly and helpful. - The location was great - not too far from the airport! - The beach and pool were fantastic - Airport transfer was easy to book and not too expensive

- The gym facilities were pretty old, and the gym was a lot smaller than it seemed on the photos. - While the breakfast was good but a lot of the hot food was cold (like baked beans and eggs). There weren't many healthy options except for some watermelon. - There was always something "unavailable" on the menu at dinner time (this is not a hotel-specific thing, I later learned, but part of the culture as a whole) - Don't expect much more outside of the resort if you're planning to leave it - the area is mostly still being built!

The location is excellent if you want access to mactan newtown beach, which is free for guests. The pool is also excellent, and the gym facility. Also, beside the beach is a ferry to Olango Island. Go island hopping from there, its 1/3 of the price, and visit the Marine Sanctuary out on the Boardwalk. The staff were very accommodating and concierge always helpful.

First room I had did have a smell, but front desk will sort out any issue you have.

New and clean hotel. On the edge of Mactan Newton, with many restaurants etc within walking distance. About 20 min walk to Hilton Port.

Not very good at providing information without us having to ask about everything. For example, we didn't know until afterwards that we had free access to Mactan Newtown Beach, so we unnecessarily paid 650 pesos per person.

We stayed at the Belmont as we had an early flight in the morning and the location is perfect to get to the airport but it's far enough away from it that you don't hear the planes coming and going. It was nice and close to other eateries

We had dinner at the hotel and unfortunately the only place to eat was at the pool as the main restaurant had a function on and was unavailable for dinning. The food was lovely but the pool deck was very windy. It's a shame they didn't have another location.

The rooms are good. The staff is amazing. But this was the only hotel in my life where i had to wait 20-25 minutes to be able to enter the breakfast room… the food itself was very good, also the staff amazing… but the breakfast place is just wayyy to small for a hotel with so many rooms. I had the feeling that the hotel was not even full, but lobby and breakfast room are just too small designed for so many guests. Pool and staff there was great. Surroundings of hotel is just a building ground, only construction ongoing now, might be nice in future. Hotel was noisy in nights (many talking in hallways from other guests)

Quality new hotel, excellent condition, great staff. Area is Mactan new town so lots of new construction going on, close to bars anc restaurants . Good spot for a couple of days when headed into Cebu to acclimatise . Airport 10 mins away 2-300 peso . Don’t get ripped off by taxi guys .. on tried to hit me up for 4k .. use GRAB to get real costs

I had a comfortable stay at Belmont Hotel Mactan with my family. The Family Room was clean and spacious, with interconnected twin and double bedrooms, comfortable beds, and a sea view. Their is availability of an Aqua Spa on the 20th floor, offering massages. There is complimentary access to Mactan Newtown Beach, just a 7-10 minute walk or shuttlebus ride away, with decent facilities and a peaceful vibe. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was decent, though it could benefit from more variety. The pool area of the hotel on the 3rd floor was nice but had limited seating and lost sunlight early due to surrounding buildings. Overall, a pleasant and convenient place to stay.

A few aspects could be improved: The breakfast menu lacked variety and didn’t change from day to day. The pool area had limited lounge chairs and quickly lost sunlight due to surrounding buildings. The air conditioning worked well, albeit a bit noisy at night (45-50 dB) Even on the lowest setting made restful sleep a bit challenging.

This hotel was a nice hotel and what I call a "budget" pick for our stay on Mactan Island. It is in the Newtown area which is an area that is all redone with nice restaurants within walking distance. There is not really a "beach area" however a place that has a POOL by the ocean. I think the reason for this is the edge of the Island where is comprised of rocky areas which don't have a natural beach with sand. However it was landscaped well to still enjoy the view next to ocean. To gain access to this area, you need to request a wrist band and walk about 400 meters to the area. It's not a far walk.

Breakfast at the hotel is good, if you're a big breakfast kind of person. It is a bit pricey (right under $20) but worth it if you take advantage of the fact that breakfast is a buffet. Rooms were clean. The amenetities like the private beach and pool are offsite. There are shuttles that go every hour, but note that they often do not take back guests unless you're a senior citizen. It would be about a 10 minute walk back to the hotel. Staff was friendly as well.

There is always someone soliciting for condos in the main lobby. Be prepared to be approached and asked by someone if you're interesting in investing in property every time you walk through the lobby. Doesn't matter if you've told that person no earlier in the day, they will ask you again. The private beach and pool area is nice, however the beach area is very rocky including in the shallow areas.

Friendly staff and very helpful and was excellent in the restaurant just recommend some changes on the breakfast and dinner buffet, alot of people don't want noodles for breakfast. I Suggest bacon and scrambled eggs and maybe BLT sandwiches! Dinner maybe steak with mashed potatoes and mixed veg!

Everything was pretty good, just want to point out one thing...the singer on Friday and Saturday night she's gotta stop the Wah Wah thing when she's singing it annoyed alot of people . Great singer..beautiful but stop with the Wah Wah! Lol 😆
