Ann, Jayson and Cliff plus everyone living nearby were super helpful and welcoming. The place is a little paradise, well maintained and right at the beach. There are two good restaurants nearby, we were able to book a boat tour with Jayson and you can try fresh coconuts here :) The water provided is clean and even though it is not running water, the Tabo for toilet and shower (Filipino style haha) are absolutely fine and do the job.

Bring snacks just in case the restaurants are closed. Ocamocam Beach is a little off the grid, which makes it hard to reach but if you have time to spare for lounging and snorkeling at the beach, trying the amazing restaurants and go on a boat tour to black Island, we absolutely recommend it!

The best hostel. I did the 4 days expedition between El Nido and Coron, I stayed a couple of days in Coron, it was way too overwhelming after the 4 days I spent in paradise. I booked Cocovana Beach Resort after Coron, I wish I stayed longer. This is all you need for a relaxing break. It’s close to Coron, so you can still do the boat tours if you wanted to. You can rent a bike and discover the area, or you can just chill next to the swimming pool. It’s very peaceful, I enjoyed it a lot to journal and read. The food and the drinks are really good too. Really my favourite hostel in the Philippines. If I ever come back to the Philippines, I would definitely stay at Cocovana Beach Resort.

Came with my husband and sister after El Nido to Coron boat trip and we loved it so much! We were worried it might be a little isolating but it really doesn’t feel that way and is SO much nicer hanging out here than Coron town plus the food is better. You’ve got the best view, delicious food (we tried so many dishes and all were tasty), options to hire scooters or join boat trip or even do some diving in the nearby wrecks. It’s also quite a hub and you can socialise if you want to or just chill.

Sometimes the frogs outside rooms were very noisy - so bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper.

We loved the fact that the place is isolated, but there is enough to do. We rented a scooter, played pool, socialized, did our laundry and enjoyed the pool and the lounge areas. We had both the villa and room #3 and both have just amazing views- incomparable!!! Imagine you just wake up in the morning with the image of palm trees and the endless see, from under the sheets... The difference between the villa and the room is interior design and the fact that the room has a shared bathroom. But the shared bathroom is clean and it has a trunk of a tree inside it, so it looks pretty cool. They have both airco.

Pool could be cleaner. Laundry took a very long time. Still, nice to have the service.

We loved our stay here and all the staff were so lovely! The food they make is delicious and reasonable priced. We did 2 of the tours the offered to Black Island and Pass island which we really enjoyed. They also picked us up from the airport and dropped us back off which was very helpful. Sunset was amazing from our room!

It was a little far from Coron town so you need to rent a scooter to get there. Pillows could do with updating and the pool was a bit of a funny colour so put us off a little but you also couldn’t really swim in the sea during our stay because of potential jellyfish.

staff, food, everyone was very helpful with giving us insects spray, going us to the airport, organizing trips etc.

room not cleaned enough, lot of dust under the beds and floor not clean. Beach not accessible because there is a sign with jelly fish in rhe water, afraid to enter. The pool is dirty, water is from the ocean and it s green and really dirty you can t go in the pool. Had spiders in the room, the ceiling has cracks in it and things can go in and out. Not much that you can do on the propery, you only have to relax sleep eat drink. Wifi slow but you have global that works ok

The resort was so quiet and tranquil with beautiful sunrise and sunsets. We enjoyed being on this side of the island and the staff were very friendly and helped us organise things to do and getting to and from the airport. It is very basic accomodation but all clean and the restaurant is great too. We really loved our stay and would definitely come back!

Only small thing is the water pressure is very low but we expect that so it wasn’t a problem at all for us.

Well localed small resort, super calm with friendly staff, beef, food and basically everything you need. They rent motorbikes, kayaks. The rooms / cabins are pretty small but have A/C and fan, at the point of arrival were also prepared and clean. It is very very calm, there, quite a soul balm. Even on the motorbike, you need to drive a bit to get somewhere.

It was low season so the pool was not much clean. There is also no place to store the valuables, but obviously the place is safe. Even the computer of the receptionist was on the desk just so.

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! Woah! We booked for 2 nights and ended up extending to 5 which is something my partner and I never do. The staff are so friendly and helpful from the moment you walk in to the moment you check out, they went out of their way to make you feel like you are at home. The food in the restaurant is a very reasonable price and so amazing and delicious tastes like it’s made with love :). It is truly a home away from home and has the best atmosphere ever. Could not recommend this place more!

Beautiful, peaceful spot with a fun, relaxed vibe. Our private room was super spacious, A/C worked great, and even though the water pressure was low, it was still easy to wash my long hair. The food was good, and the communal areas made it easy to meet other travelers. Staff were lovely, and the trip to Black Island is a must. Don’t forget bug spray—but seriously, don’t let that stop you. Bonus: the sweetest resident dogs who love belly rubs!
