Classy, quiet, clean, simple but elegant. We also had a nice dinner in the restaurant and the woman working there -- same one who had checked us in -- was very professional, kind and spoke some English with us. Parking was very convenient and we were able to check in early. Room was exceptionally clean, and the bed comfortable. TV and wifi all good. Very short walk from everything you might want to see in this fascinating little town. Historical vibe in the castle -- wallpaper, armor, vintage furniture.

It was extremely hot that day/night, and though there was a nice fan -- otherwise it would have been unbearable -- there was no air conditioning, so it was a little stuffy. But there were windows that opened onto the garden that eventually cooled down after a rain.

All the staff was very friendly and helpful. It was pleasant to talk with them. Hotel was close to the train station where we had a train the next day. Also, the restaurant was great, good local food. Breakfast was really nice and the lady even asked if we would need anything additional.

The room was on the top floor and even though it was not the hottest summer day, there was already quite a bad/hot air in the room in the afternoon/evening. The hotel is close to a busy street with a lot of noice from the traffic so if you choose to open windows and get some fresh air during nigh, you will get a lot of noice from passing cars as well. Definitely would recommend rooms facing the garden (or not on the top floor). Also, the facilities (bathroom) were quite old and used. For example shower head not being fixed to the wall, etc. So not only feeling/being old, but also with small deffects that could have been improved quite easily. Definitely not corresponding to the rest of the hotel (especially when comparing with the restaurant) and not to the price of the room.

Room had lovely high ceilings and the radiators were very hot. Only one bedside light Very quiet room no traffic noise Absolutely great breakfast so many choices far too much food for two people but great..

Bathroom a bit small. Poor lighting in room not good in bathroom either. Beds very peculiar they appeared to be boat shaped with high sides which made it impossible to get out the side of the bed one had to edge down to the bottom of the bed to get up.

We know this hotel from our previous stay so we decided to book it again. The staff is very kind and friendly,place is clean and sufficient. Food is first class always fresh and to a good standard,better than in some nearby restaurants. The car park is ample and free .We actually went there on business but if need be we will stay at that place again.

The hotel room is very beautiful and big enough to accommodate 4 people. Everything is very clean. The owner of the hotel was very kind and friendly. There is a restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel, where you can dine until 9 p.m. in the evening. It is possible to use a kettle in the room. The car can be parked in the hotel courtyard, the gates of which are closed at night. Since we arrived at the hotel late in the evening and left very early in the morning, we did not have breakfast and did not have time to look around the city.

Very friendly & helpful staff. Superb breakfast & dinner in the restaurant. Highly recommended. Walks in stunning mountains & many old towns & castles far from hordes of tourists.

We liked everything. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, thick walls. It's so so quiet at night. Perfect sleep. And breakfast, big & hearthy.

Nice accomodation, normal clean rooms, common equipement. Really good breakfast and great staff, very nice with our little daughter!

I would appreciate a fridge in the room.
