It was a great home base for exploring all the winding roads in the region. The hotel has a car park with a covered area with lighting to park the bike, which is great. Overall I liked the place very much.

This is a very sweet and old hotel. It is more like a mountain refuge, with just essential amenities. But still - it's excellent. The rooms are small, yet very clean. The furniture is simple. The meals are not served during the weekend (which is when I visited), but the menu looks just lovely and home-made. For 1 - 2 nights it's just great. Important point - some of the negative comments mention rude and unprofessional staff. That couldn't not be further from my experience. I only met cheerful, kind and smiling people. Maybe the staff was replaced?

The rooms don't have AC or fans - it can get pretty toasty inside. Note - the riverside rooms are right above a water mill - you can hear the water flow all the time. I personally loved it. It's a very soothing white noise that made me sleep like a baby. But I recognize that it's somewhat loud and may disturb some people. When checking in ask to see rooms on both sides to find out what is better for you.

Very pleasant stay. Staff were very helpful and kind. Recommended! Loved the sound of the water outside my room :)

Hotel is situated in the centre. Good place for low budget holiday. Perfect location to see the town centre. This was perfect in that place.

Main builiding can look better from the outside, but this does not have influence on the stay. Builiding must be repainted, or renovated. This could be better in that place.

I would call this a great economy stay. Rooms are basic and clean. Very friendly staff and owner. Located an easy walk to the old city. Secure on-site parking for a fee. There is a charge for breakfast but we found it to be worth it. A different evening meal is offered every day for a good price. This hotel is basic, a nice value and very likable.
