The hotel was very relaxing with a sea view from the bed. The bed was large and comfortable and the room had a lovely large walk in shower. The spa facilities were lovely to use on a breezy or cooler day. I saw a reviewer state there is a charge for swimming cap etc .. there is but this is all in the information you receive beforehand and can bring your own items. If you forget you can purchase sandals at €10, swimming cap €5 and hire towel €1 and robe €2 - so it’s very reasonable. The breakfast was great, lots of options from fruit , yoghurt? Crepes, pastries, cereals, continental and cooked. We also ate the the restaurant in the evening and it was really great food. The staff were fabulous, helping with anything you need. There is a pretty nature reserve walk close by, the beach was clean and not crowded with lifeguards. All in all .. a fabulous place to relax and switch off.

What a beautiful location. Great staff and the room was excellent. Really liked the service of food to either poolside or room. Also loved the lounge area with pool table!

Needs more options on menus, and more vegetarian options. Turkish bath and steam room out of order. Would have been nice to have known this ahead of time and even at reception. Being charged 10 euros for a silly hat to use in the spa and 20 euros for sandals is not great considering they cost about 30p to make and come from China.

Hotel literally on the beach, I never slept closer to the sea! Fantastic restaurant for breakfast and dinners - everything was very tasty. I would return there even just for a nice dinner at the sunset! Best cider sangria- my personal recommendation.

Everything is a bit tight- like hotel corridors, but this is understandable due to the location of the hotel - they managed to build it in a narrow stripe of land between the cliff and the beach

The staff was very kind and attentive. The surroundings are very calm and relaxing. Sun hat and beach lounger included by showing hotel guest card with the room number. The hotel is literally on top of the beach and is small but with everything I needed, it is quiet. Free public parking. I think it is great for travelling alone (which I did), or as a couple, or even with kids. Even if the weather was a bit foggy I had the option to enjoy the SPA (jacuzzi, sauna, interior pool). Masseuse Ana is very good and kind. The hotel also has exterior pool. Other beaches accessible within a 10 minutes radius. Can go surfing very close by in Praia Azul for example (need to go by car but for that region having the car is the best option). I am coming back to this hotel for sure!

Clean and modern ocean facing hotel, rooms bright and fresh, also very spacious and comfortable. Ocean view from room is just stunning and hearing the the waves so close, it’s amazing. Great to have wooden floors in the rooms, instead of carpets which can make rooms very stuffy, nice shower with warm water and good pressures. Lovely walks on beach and into the surrounding hills also lovely and relaxing. If you want a getaway for some peace and tranquility, I recommend you stay at Promar Hotel. Hotel Staff are very helpful and friendly.

Would suggest having a kettle in the room for guests to make a cup of tea or coffee, it would be nice.

Location, little but nice spa, the room and its view. It's a great stay if you just want to relax on the beach or explore the cliffs a little bit. You can also jog a little bit along the river. But if you want to see more, you need a car!

I would have liked at least a boiler in the room as I cannot live without drinking hot tea. Breakfast could be better. The scrumbled eggs are not very well made and the bacon is not great. I liked the spa, but the hot tub needed a clean, as there was dirt on its edges. The food at the next door Pizzeria and Hamburgeria, also managed by the hotel, is mostly not good. Do not order the pizza, it is not worth the money.

Wow, the room & the view was stellar! It was in a sloped roof room with a skylight that opened over the bed. It was a full view of the ocean & to fall asleep with the sound of the waves hitting the shore was beyond peaceful. Also, the restaurant was outstanding. Both the food & the service were wonderful. Again, the full ocean view as you eat is just beautiful. A gem of a property in a small, quiet community. I LOVED it!

Location was perfect - right on the beach. Sun loungers were available for guests during NG the day. The restaurant was good. I loved falling asleep to the sound of the waves. Recommend a walk to the nearby Santa Rita beach. Keep going past the crowds and it is stunningly beautiful.

The beach view is amazing, the room was a decent size and the bed really comfortable. Breakfast is served practically on the beach and is quite hearty. The spa/pool area is nice and comfy too.

The indoor pool had so much chlorine, I had breathing problems that night. I was told the chlorine regulation system was out of order or something, and that it's not usually like that, but it was seriously hazardous. Also, it would have been useful to know from the start during the booking process what is the wheelchair-adapted room, rather than book a normal one and then have to pay extra for the larger, adapted one. And finally, a wall-mounted shower chair would be really helpful.
