Noah's is an all encompassing hotel "ecosystem" for families of all types who want to get active on the surf coast. The smart property tumbles down the cliff above the beach with multiple terraces and a really social vibe. We stayed for a couple of nights. It felt like you are part of a kind of social club, staff and other guests are quite social and there is loads to do. The deck pool and hot tub are great. Surf lessons were awesome with great teachers. Would stay again.

I think the food is 8/10 but still with a little bit of room for even more improvement - nit picking. I must confess, I wished there had been a TV in the room to connect our fire stick to! :-)

The breakfast was great! We loved all of the fresh healthy options plus a few treats as well. The location was great. Nice and close to Lisbon. All of the activities offered were fantastic and our two kids had a ball with the skateboarding lessons. A shout out to Thomas who taught our boys during the lessons. The boys really enjoyed their time with him. The surfing lessons were also great, in such a perfect location too. Would definitely recommend Noah’s!

The heat in the rooms. It was so cold. The staff helped us with extra blankets and turning up the heating though which was great. Some rugs in winter on the floors would be a great addition.

Exceptional. Fabulous breakfasts. Large, well appointed rooms with very flexible sleeping arrangements for our large family group of adult children! Well located for surfing, skateboarding, swimming & chilling. ( although the surf wasn’t great during our stay!) Lovely rooftop terrace. Stunning interior design. Fantastic staff - very friendly, welcoming & incredibly helpful & prepared to ‘go the extra mile’. Great cocktails & sundowners.

The in-house menu is relatively expensive, compared to prices ‘just outside’ .. it is double the price. We noticed this more, being a group of 8 rather than just a couple. But the food is good & the service exceptional, so you make your choices!

The vibe and the relaxed luxury feeling

We were a bit surprised about the location. The picture made it look like it was situated more privately. When in reality the hotel is next to the road and the bungalow was next to a parking lot and a camping area that sort of diluted the sea view. I would prefer to been made aware of this by showing pictures of this. It didn’t really matter because the hotel itself is great. But I was indeed surprised about this and first I thought the Uber had taken us to a wrong address.

A surfer, skater, earth lover paradise! The service, decor, facilities, and activities were fantastic. We only stayed 2 nights and wished we would have stayed for a week.

It would be nice if the pool was warmer but appreciate the energy efficiency with solar powered heating. Maybe a solar heating cover for the pool at night would be an eco friendly way to help retain/heat up the pool for the day use. Yet, we were there when the temperature was mild, and on a hot day the cold pool would be refreshing.

The surf lessons were amazing! The whole surf staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming and great teachers. The lessons were made in a very smart way - we learnt how to reads the waves and the currents before warming up and making our way in the water. Best surf lessons I have ever had! The staff was the friendliest I have ever experienced and very resourceful. The bungalows are beautiful and have amazing views even from the bathroom! We would love to come back and already miss our incredible surf instructors!

The restaurant could make little improvements.

- They included activity programs for guests and breakfast. - Friendly staff The restaurant food was excellent, especially the steak for two and the fish and rice soup. We couldn't go out because we had some rainy days, but the good hotel restaurant food made it feel better.

We didn't like the wooden shower floor. Visually, it looked old, and it smelled a little bit.

Great breakfast, super friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, gorgeous beaches, convenient location not too far from Lisbon airport great activities including the surfing lessons and weekly BBQ.

The village of Santa Cruz is not the prettiest, but it grows on you over time. There are a few great restaurant options nearby and it’s so nice that it is not overcrowded with tourists- more local visitors.

Communication from the get go via Booking.com was great. Getting there was really easy and much quicker than expected from Lisbon. Noah's itself was absolutely stunning, from the aesthetic to the layout and all facilities. They were able to check us in early which was amazing, the room was huge with outside terrace. Location was great for us as we just wanted to be able to walk across to the beach and town. Use of equipment and booking of activities was easy. Restaurant food was excellent. Our little guy absolutely loved every minute of it! We really do hope they remain authentic and not feel the need to change for the general masses.

The room itself as stunning as it was didn't have air-con or windows, just one big sliding door which may not appeal to everyone (terrace with access from back). Most of the staff were super friendly and helpful, however finding someone to take an order or help did prove difficult on numerous occasions, long wait time just to get bills signed etc. Restaurant is expensive, not a massive offering especially for little ones. We loved the local small town but it may not be for everyone, so would recommend hiring a car.

Noah is perfect for a relaxed family holiday - even with smaller children. The staff is friendly, the location with seaview is amazing and the whole surf house is designed in a great style. They offer a lot of activities like surfing of course, yoga, skating or a barbecue at the terrace overlooking the sunset. The infinity pool was quite big and the water was heated. Santa Cruz is a really nice little town - we rented bikes at Noah's to explore the surroundings. We enjoyed it a lot and definitely wanna come again.

The staff needs some support during breakfast and peak times. The bathroom in the bungalow was a bit small as well.
