The pools, water slides of the kids and the beach. Service in the restaurants was great.

3 days of strike was not a great experience. Waking up to yelling and going to sleep to yelling wasn’t ideal. Having a dirty room and dirty corridors was suboptimal. Hilton knew about the strikes 3 weeks in advance, least they could’ve done was warn us and also decrease the nightly charge considering we did not get what we paid for.

Location was excellent. The staff were so friendly and hospitable. We had amazing interactions each morning with the female housekeeper who was assigned to clean our room. She easily became our favorite employee at this location. She was so caring with our belongings, upbeat in our interactions, and very proactive in finding work that would create further comfort during our stay. I have never met such friendly service staff!

I was very disappointed with the fee for parking a vehicle at the hotel parking garage (DAILY RATE: $72.25 for SELF PARK or $82.72 for using valet parking). I preferred walking to a nearby public lot that charges $1/hour instead of the fees for parking at the hotel.

The grounds are very pretty with fish ponds, trees, and birds. Although the resort is very large, it doesn't feel like it, the way it's laid out, with many nice shops and eateries to enjoy. We stayed in Tappa tower, which was modern and clean with well-appointed rooms. We had a king ocean view room, where we enjoyed tea on the balcony every evening. We really appreciate that right outside the elevator lobby, steps away was the pool and an open air bar with food and live music every night. We had a great time staying here.Highly recommend Tappa Tower. But the most appreciated thing was the way we were treated by the staff. Everyone from the bell hop, to the waiters, to the young staff at Crazy Shirts (fantastic shop, btw), to the pleasant lady who checked us out. Pleasant, patient, conversant.Just lovely people. They made our stay so much better because we felt like our comfort and experience mattered. I can not say enough about Hilton Hawaiian Village. We will absolutely stay here again. Mahalo 😁

We can't think of anything significant enough to mention. Some people wrote about how huge and busy the place is. It is large and at check in time it is very busy. But again...the staff went above and beyond to get us up to our room super quickly so we could make the shuttle for our dinner sunset cruise. That took some extra effort by our bell hop, Brandon. He's amazing. Well done, and Mahalo to Brandon and all staff.

Location and staff and cleanliness were awesome.

No microwave. Majority of pools don’t have hot tubs. Only the Lagoon pool which is packed due to hot tubs and slides. The towel system is weird. But overall the property has everything you need except a microwave.

This place is basically a cruise ship on land. Shopping, crowded pools that are just a little too cloudy with sunscreen. The adult pool was nice but small and no beverage service. The spa is lovely, the elevators for Tapas tower is always packed. Overall too big a resort for us.

The property was amazing. We stayed in the Sky tower and had an amazing view of the lagoon. There’s a lot to do for kids. The room was spacious and beds were comfortable. The room was cleaned and maintained every day by staff.

Staff weren’t very helpful. When we checked in, we got told that there are renovations on the 17th floor which was above us. The staff member recommended that we move to the 21st level, which we were fine with, but then asked us to pay the extra fee for it. I tried to explain that no where did it state that there was renovations on some levels when we booked our accommodation. We ended up moving 2 levels down, which we weren’t too happy about but we didn’t want to hear any construction work during our holiday stay. I also asked for my daughter’s milk to be warmed up by hotel staff, they advised that they had no facilities within the entire resort to heat milk for us.

Loved that everything we needed was on site! You really don’t need to leave the premises at all unless you want to. Lappert’s coffee and ice cream was so good! We were there 3 times a day easily. The ABC stores have snacks, drinks, souvenirs and all the random stuff one might need. Beach was beautiful and we swam with the turtles every day! We stayed on 27th floor of the Rainbow Tower which is one of renovated floors (above 18 is renovated).

The elevators take some patience! Oh my goodness. During peak times it was quite a wait. And we were on the 27th floor so most times the elevator stopped MANY TIMES on the way up and down to let others on and off. Cost of food is expensive everywhere you go!

The village is superb offering so much. The accessibility features in the room were great, the bed was abit high but was sorted out a few days later into our stay. The walk path around the village and beach is great, I would suggest to make a path for wheelchairs to the sea water, if possible.

The lifts could do with a bit of cleaning or renovation. The cost difference from our room Ocean Front Marina View to the Diamond Head room was too much as we wanted to up graded but didn't due to the cost and the rooms are opposite each other. They might look at that to make it more affordable.

I want to recognize and sincerely “THANK IRENE” the housekeeper for going above and beyond. I really can't thank her enough for finding and returning my wedding ring. It means the world to me not just for its value but for what it represents something incredibly sentimental to me. I am so grateful for her honesty and thoughtfulness. People like her make a big difference. She is a genuine and honest person. She truly went above and beyond, and I deeply appreciate it. I feel incredibly lucky to have Irene as my housekeeper at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki. Highly, highly recommend!!!!!

I truly have nothing bad to say.

The location is unbeatable. The view from the rainbow tower was amazing. The staff (from the front desk to valet) were wonderful. Housekeeping were attentive and kept the room clean and well stocked.

Unfortunately, the property is starting to show its age. Our room was in the rainbow tower, so our view was off the charts. However, the carpet in the room had so many stains it was hard to tell what color the carpet actually was. And there were multiple stains all over the curtains. The furniture was a bit dinged up too.
