Close to a few food outlets, burger places, coffee shops and the local area felt safe. The subway is a 5-10 minute walk and the area is busy enough with people. Its a short walk to the 9-11 memorial, for example and the Irish Hunger memorial is right outside the front door. Turn down service supplied chocolates every evening and we looked forward to getting back to the Hotel each evening.

The filtered water dispenser in the room runs with a small Raspberry Pi operated touchscreen, which failed every couple of days. To reset, it just needs to be turned off and on again, but there's no accessible switch or socket. An adaptor cable, connected to the back of the dispenser, has to be pulled out and pushed back in again (very simple), but unless you know you've got to call maintenance.

What a great hotel! The rooms (for New York) are fabulous. A great size and really clean. This is a well maintained property and the service was great with friendly staff. Location is near to 9/11 museum and Tribeca. We weren't sure initially about this location but actually, it was really nice to be away from the madness of midtown/uptown.

It would be good if the reception area was serviced for drinks. There is a bar but on occasions, it was difficult to get just a coffee for example as the bar tender wasn't able to step away but the waiters were only servicing tables in the restaurant.

Like everything about the Conrad Downtown. My wife and I think to try something new and "special," but we are always drawn to the hotel. Five visits in five years. The hotel is walkable to so much. The Oculus is a block away. Ferry dock across the street. The on-site restaurant is extraordinary. There are many handfuls of restaurants within four blocks of the hotel. If you are interested in shopping, there are few better places in Manhattan than Brookfield Place mall. The FiDi area around the hotel is clean, well-lighted, and safe. The entire hotel is maintained beautifully. Nothing out of place; all fabrics looked as new as they did when we first stayed at the Conrad five years ago.

Unfortunately, an item of value was stolen from our hotel room.

Very modern and nice rooms, good location, comfortable beds

I would have liked to be informed about the water hygiene incidents and the investigation by the Health department before my booking. Appreciate that measures have been taken to isolate the rooms where bacteria where found but again when travelling with children I would like to know this before the booking.

Quiet location downtown.

Family room was a bit small. It was my wife’s birthday while there. Most hotels I have stayed in have done something when told. Even if it’s just a card in the room to say welcome and happy birthday. We had breakfast included but it was incorrectly added to our bill. Fortunately noticed it. Front desk could address it. Needed to go to manager to approve which seems silly when they can see our room rate. However it was resolved quickly by the restaurant manager

We would like to highly recommend the lovely Mr. Łukasz from the restaurant, who showed full professionalism. Departure was planned at 6.30 am and breakfast was from 7.00. Despite inquiries, the staff indicated that it was not possible to have an early breakfast despite paying for it (included in the price of the stay). Here Mr. Łukasz saved you :) and met our expectations. Perhaps the hotel should be more willing to meet customer expectations.

Broken blinds in the window and a partial view of the bay, rather for a block of flats, but we paid for a stay (room) with a view of the bay. This shouldn't be the case.

We came to visit NYC on vacation. The hotel is beautiful and in a very nice/safe part of the city. We stayed in a king suite. It was very clean, comfortable, and had any amenity you could possibly think of needing. The shower was amazing and the room was very nicely decorated. The staff was very helpful and kind. The hotel is a short walk from the Twin Tower Memorial and Pools, Statue of Liberty Ferry dock, and other tourist attractions. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the Conrad on an unscheduled stop in NYC following a delayed and missed flight. Luckily the hotel had 2 suites and we arrived without any luggage. Reception kindly provided a dental kit for us. The suites are very spacious with a sitting room area and fantastic shower. The bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel is close to amenities in and around the 9/11 Memorial area of Manhattan and there was a great choice of restaurants near the property. I would highly recommend the hotel and will definitely stay there again should we be in NYC again!

The hotel is very well located on the west side of Manhattan. Right on the main running and recreational area where the Big Apple has re-developed the old piers into amazing recreational and sports spaces for families and young people.

The only negative was that the parking was very expensive and didn’t offer ‘in and out’ services. Once you handed it in, you would be charged another day parking each time you took it out.
