Rooms on the second floor are very big with high vaulted ceilings.the rooms looked to be updated very tastefully. great to walk out of the back on the hotel and sit on a viewing dock. Great German restaurant very large portions come hungry. Safeway grocery store right next store if you simply need to stock up for your road trip up the coast

The window in the room was open. My daughter and I notice a smell, not horrible but maybe from the remodeling. We were fine after being in the room for a few minutes.

This is the second time we've stayed here. Excellent facilities and staff. Walking distance from Safeway and Fred Meyer, short drive to the core downtown area. Towels, beds, shower are the best! Very comfortable stay, and an excellent value.

Only suggested change is USB plugs on table lamps. Almost all are the original USB-A, but most travelers have likely shifted to the more modern USB-C which is the standard for cables for newer cell phones, tablets and watches. It would be expensive to swap out all the otherwise fully functional lamps -- maybe another solution?

We loved the ground floor room with the giant sliding glass door! Loved having the door open hearing the birds and watching the water and the people walking around. We wish there was a breakfast option at this location. The coffee machine in the lobby was a plus 10! Pool was great. Was sad to see no hot tub/spa. Riding motorcycles for 5-7 hours it sure makes it better.

We noticed there was no to hang our towels or our wet swimsuits in the room despite having ample wall space in our bathroom.

Nicely updated older property. Spacious room 2 queens with a big arm chair as well as a desk. Sliding door out to patio 25 feet from the river. Surprisingly quiet for a ground floor room. Good WiFi new streaming app TV but very difficult to figure out. In room coffee was very tasty. Beds and pillows were comfy. Desk staff was very pleasant and helpful. Very good value.

TV was very difficult to figure out. Exterior doors were not secured by key card but we experienced no security issues.

Our large, updated room was clean and comfortable. Parking is plentiful. The office has a nice coffee maker for guests. Location offers easy access to groceries, peaceful river view, and quiet despite its proximity to Hwy 101

Apparently they were short on cleaning staff and rooms weren’t ready at checkin. Front desk person was very stressed and unfriendly. Check-in was slow. A/C didn’t cool well but we were able to sleep with the balcony door open.

I was greeted by Matt with a smile and respect when I arrived. I requested a ground floor room d/t a disability and there was no problem obtaining it. The next morning, I spoke with the front desk and the manager, and they were helpful and pleasant. I had no complaints, but as I frequently travel, I like to meet who I'm doing business with. They are new owners and have remodeled the Edgewater Inn to make it pleasant to stay.

The Edgewater Inn does not have a breakfast, just a coffee bar (no decaf available).

It was a very nice stay, bed was a little harder than we like, nice big room, bathroom set up is strange, large bar behind the toilet should be on a different wall so you can hang your towels on it, grab bar needs to be inside the shower for safety reasons, need to have a toilet paper holder instead of having to reach behind you to get it. Maybe some kind of shelf's in side the shower to put your shampoo and conditioner on or even the bar of soap. There is no place to put the bar of soap at the hand washing sink maybe a small dish or something to put it in. Other than that it is a very nice place to stay and would definitely stay again. Oh 1 more thing maybe some benches for people to sit on in smoking areas, for me I can't stand for very long

We liked most everything, coffee in the morning and a Continental breakfast would be nice for the price you pay

I loved everything. The room was beautiful and so clean, great quality toiletries, nice big towels and a microwave, fridge, coffee maker etc. The staff were absolutely wonderful. The views were spectacular, (back of hotel) and the coolest thing was the coffee area, where they had syrups and many different creamer flavors. Saved us from having to go to a coffee shop.

There wasn't really anything bad. The hot tub was out, but that's because they are replacing it. We encountered some loud guests above us, but the front desk very kindly took care of that. But be aware that if you have kids and are on a top floor and they start running back and forth obnoxiously, it will sound like bombs to the people below you. HAVE RESPECT! Especially when you let them start before 7..

the upgraded rooms were comfortable, attractive & functionable. The lighting for the room was great with different wattage for the sink area vs bed nights was appropriate. Also the the computer access from the desk, to bed area was great. The shower was also good with the features of the widened shower curtain, the facets worked well & the shower head was comfortable with good pressure. the clean design improvement from the simple relaxing color scheme, furniture & a comfortable bed made the room a good stay.

Very nice view of the river from our 2nd floor balcony. The room was spacious and renovated. Very quiet. Good location for grocery shopping. We had coffee out on the deck overlooking the river, which was nice. The staff were very welcoming. Good customer service.

The rooms have no microwaves. We had to walk down to the lobby to use the only microwave on the premises. It took a very long time to get hot water in our shower. King bed was lumpy and not very comfortable. Building is being renovated. However, this was stated on their website.
