This is a good hotel. Reasonably clean with a good dining room, source of drinking water on each floor. The hotel seems to be frequented by business travellers from respectable companies. Therefore, all around, there are pretty decent and down-to-earth people. The hotel staff are particularly helpful.

However, over the years, they have not evolved a lot. Some twenty years ago, the facilities would have been considered pretty good. However, now there are many hotels that are providing much better facilities and comfort at a similar cost. I got a good deal with Rs. 3,500-ish per day. Therefore, I have nothing much to complain about. I noticed that sometimes the tariff of the rooms goes as high as Rs. 8000-ish. That is downright unfair, considering the quality of the product.

Breakfast was delicious and many options were there to cater to both vegetarian as well as others. However, there was some problem with the communication as we booked fourth room inclusive of breakfast and they were not having proper record / communication from your end. I have to spend some quality time to pursue the matter to bring the pleasant end.

I booked first three rooms and later on added one more room. Out of first three rooms, two rooms were of superior quality and one was basic double bed room. The fourth room booked was also basic double bed room but with breakfast. However, the Hotel Ginger provided me all the four room of basic double bed and there was no any difference between the four rooms. As a customer, I do not have any tool to know the difference. However, Hotel Ginger; as a prestigious Tata Group company should not have done this towards their customer. This leaves a lasting impression of not so good nature.

The Ginger Hotel Location is good and Breakfast provided by the hotel was good.

one thing I did not like about the hotel was that there were no doorbells in the rooms, whenever the room service guy or any other person came to the room they knocked on the door at that time it looked like a low-budget guest house or lodge. Hotel management should think about this.

Found the location to be good. Like the location. Quiet and well maintained. Very helpful and polite staff. Had a problem with billing and they cleared it up with minimal fuss. I watched them handling a group of people who had brought food from outside into the restaurant and wanted plates to have it there. They were politely told that outside food was not permitted in the restaurant. However, they could have it in their room and the floor manager made arrangements for the food to be served on proper plates in their room. What impressed me is the quiet way it was handled in a way that did not break rules but at the same time it did not spoil the mood of the guests.

Would have liked to have a change in menu, especially breakfast menu. When one is staying there for more than three days, the b'fast menu starts getting boring.

Breakfast spread was nice. Dosa was not available. All dining room staff were courteous and helpful.

Wi Fi was not made available despite repeated requests.

Located in an apt place.. Ease access of public transports like city Bus, Taxi and Auto.. Several restaurants located near By. Great service. Cooperative Hotel Staff. Morning break fast and room services are good. Tea makers in room. Running Hot water.

Need Sugar Free in Tea maker. Foods are little expensive.

Location is great. Its a renowned hotel chain as it belongs to tata. Its more of a budget stay with required amount of luxury. Breakfast is good . Rooms are clean and as expected.

Well as i said its more of a budget business hotel than a luxury hotel so i would say the rooms are little small in size and its old too. The plug points are available only one side of the bed which is disappointing . Rest other things are superb and up to the mark.

the property is centrally located and is only a 15 minute drive from the airport . the rooms were clean even though small and the bathroom were well equipped. Dental kit is at a price . Ironing stations at every floor with a water filter is very smart solution .

the staff are not polite and don’t have a smile on their face . They don’t understand the problem in hand and communication is slow

Breakfast was great! Location is fantastic. There was a huge Odisha Government exhibition right next lane. We had to leave early in the morning, so they packed Breakfast before 5AM! Very cordial, smiling and helpful staff.
