Large but well organised property with good rooms and amenities. Excellent evening buffet meal as well as extensive breakfast offering with both Local and international dishes. Stayed here by choice 3 times in the month of January.

The bedroom lighting and electrical systems have temperamental and confusing electronic controls which are very frustrating when lights won’t switch off. Analogue switches would be much better. The other problem with this hotel is that it’s a popular wedding and event venue, and noise levels are excessive late at night if you’re on the wrong side of the building.

I liked the front desk's warm reception. In particular, Anamika was worth taking note of.

Frankly, the standard of breakfast is not the same as before. Fruits were insipid. Culinary skills seem to have lost the edge. Hospitality is not what it used to be earlier. Even though there were so many staff, except some known senior ones, they were perfunctory, and never made any effort to play true hosts. Is it lack of training or supervision, or both, I couldn’t be too sure.

Awesome location, Quiet and Spacious

Causal behavior of staff! I had to mention three times about my airport drop that I requested, I rang three times to request bell boy for luggage and car to be ready, no wake up call, rushed through the breakfast-no staff attended me or ask for the room number. Being used to Taj brand hospitality for several years, it was a let down to be honest.

As usual Taj hotels always takes care of their guests. The checking person was very courteous and he even arranged a birthday cake for my mother. Thank you very much. We booked Vivanta to celebrate my mother's birthday. In the restaurant Seven, food was very good but what made our experience wonderful was Mr Dawa who was always with a smile and took care of not only us but all other guests. He was very attentive, caring and went beyond to make guests comfortable and feel welcomed. Also thank Ms Tuestina and Ms Victoria who was there with a smile and taking care of us. Kudos to the them as they really made the experience worthwhile.

For my work in Guwahati and surrounding areas, I stayed in this hotel for 6 nights in total. How professional and kind the staff are in this hotel is really the best thing about this hotel. For example, travel staff and reception staff organise any car hire perfectly and help you check in and check out seamlessly without hassle. Any question is addressed instantly and they were always making my day with their smiles. The facilities are also amazing, and the gym and spa facilities were perfect for my rest days during this business trip. Also, their in-house massage service in their spa was very good and good value. I want to stress how the housekeeping staff were above and beyond my expectations. I only wanted one clean by putting a privacy sign other nights, and on that evening the team asked me when I came back from work if I needed anything or any cleaning to ensure I didn’t put the sign accidentally. Also, when they did provide cleaning, it was spotless and thoughtful- for example, they knew I didn’t have any place for my makeup products, so they provided beautiful vanity with their tablecloth. They even got me a beautiful goodbye gift on my last evening at this hotel. The dining staff remembered me and tended to me the perfect amount- allowing me to rest and be alone but also feel looked after. I was worried how anti-social I looked (I watched tv on my iPad the whole time, every time), but the staff didn’t mind at all and accommodated me with upmost kindness. The food was also great, I ate their not just breakfast and dinner everytime, but also lunch. Unlimited dimsum lunch was a great deal too! The bar was fantastic and the cocktails were also creative- the bartender checked how my drinks are every time. Live music on Friday was also a great opportunity to relax and have a drink, and the singer allowed me to sing with her! So many memories from this hotel, and I cannot recommend enough, and how Vivanta went above and beyond as a hotel.

This hotel was fantastic! If I can provide any constructive feedback, maybe the swimming pool can have a refreshed look in future as it looked a bit tired.

The room was huge, and the view of the hills was beautiful. Breakfast and dinner buffet were with good variety, although not the best I’ve seen. Debraj from the restaurants was super helpful both when I ate in Umami and when I ate in the main restaurant.

The location is a problem, as it is at the far end of the city. If you don’t come with a car, you’ll spend much time on waiting for Uber or taxi. Only bath and not walk in shower which was quite high to enter.

Loved the cleanliness, the room, the bathroom, the facilities of the room, and most of all the breakfast buffet, it was the best breakfast ever!

1. The ladies night at the bar was kinda boring, it was below my expectations, I assumed there'd be good music or a DJ or something. 2. In the bathroom, everything was provided which made it really easy for travellers especially. However, it would have been nice if there was a scrubber or a loofah or anything disposable item we could use while having a bath.

Appreciation to Miss Vila at reception counter for giving a very warm welcome, and explaining all the amenities in a very polite manner , also Mr Krishna at buffet restaurant thank you for guiding us in choosing the menus, I wish you both to continue to have the same spirit for the upcoming future as well.

Food items need to improve, nothing felt like the group of Taj comparing to the other parts of the Cities.

I enjoyed every bit of our stay here. Staff were courteous and added a personal touch in catering to our needs, especially front desk and housekeeping.They were attentive and made sure guests were treated with utmost care. The pool was clean, and the room was spacious with all the amenities.

Food is average. It did not meet my expectations.

Very comfortable hotel to stay in. Amazing food with local delicacies Warm and courteous staff. Great place to stay!!

I didnt have enough time to enjoy the facilities :( (but that's nothing Vivanta could help with)
