The view was awesome. The beach was beautiful and I entirely had it entirely to myself. Very few guests. Nice pool, again, all to myself. The room was decent sized with a closet. Friendly staff. Proximity to surrounding towns and food is great. Less crowded and commercial than Arecibo. On'-site dining. Allowed my cat to stay.

Multiple large hairballs on several towels and on the floors. Wasn't super clean. A loud tomcat's meowing kept my cat awake and uneasy each night. The stray dog pack in the lot next doo is human friendly, but not dog friendly. At all.. I would be very cautious with a dog venturing beyond the property. It was unfortunate that I couldn't rent a mini fridge.

The location of the hotel is excellent, every room has an ocean view and beautiful well maintained landscape. The staff is polite and helpful.

The rooms are very clean but need some upgrades and the also some of the outside areas.

We loved the balcony with sea view. The view was absolutely beautiful over the pool and ocean. The swim up bar was great, and staff was very friendly. There was a wedding going on while we were there, which made us worried about noise, but the party promptly quieted down and we were very pleased.

The room was decent, but nothing special. The bathroom is old and very tiny. We didn't spend that much time in the room, but it didn't match the rest of the beautiful hotel. I believe they are still working on upgrades, so I assume it will be updated soon.

The location of this place gives you an amazing view of the ocean. Rooms are comfortable with a balcony overseen the pool and ocean. Breakfast is included, they have a restaurant on site and a bar at the pool. You can swim to the pool bar order drinks and food perfect place for those that just want to enjoy the pool the ocean view drinks and food without having to go anywhere else.

This place needs sound proofing, you could hear the other guests conversations (no they weren’t screaming, just conversations) the place is a little outdated, and many things installed as an afterthought. The shower water was warm at best, you might think you don’t need hot water but get in the room at 9pm after been in the pool. You’re gonna need that nice hot shower.

Great ocean view, good food at the restaurant, beautiful swimming pool and nice bar at the pool, pretty near to Guajataca Tunel, beach and river. Also nearby paseo lineal Isabella and Playa Jobos is a must. We really enjoy everything.

Everything was good, quite and nice place to relax and the staff are so friendly and helpful

I am from, Maryland and I stayed at El Guajataca during early March along with some friends. Everything was excellent, starting with the beachfront location and compounded by the attention given by all staff, even from Manolo, the unofficial mascot, a stranded cat adopted by the employees. The price is below the typical lodging prices for this type of prime locations and if you use booking websites, you might get even better deals. There is free breakfast offered for guests and the food offered for lunch and dinner were really good. However if guests opt for eating someplace else, there is plenty of restaurants and fast food nearby. We certainly enjoyed our time there and we recommend this hotel.

Charming views I suggest you get up at 5:40 am and watch the sunrise, it's quite a spectacle. The delicious breakfast overlooking the garden and sea. We loved the extremely relaxing pool. The terraces for conversing or meditating outside are comfortable. We loved the experience, it is unique, we did not need music, nature gave its own. Ample parking. You have access to the beach to walk along the coast. It is also close to the Guajataca Tunnel, steps you can walk there and it is close to the Mirador de Guajataca. Our visit will be repeated. I look forward to everything going perfect in your remodeling, it's turning out beautiful.

I did not like that the regular rooms do not have a coffee maker, we are coffee lovers and although it is offered at breakfast if a fan of our island or a Borincano stays discovering their culture and their country, they cannot miss even if it is a coffee maker in the regular rooms even if it is small. It is important to note that in the room we stayed, water was coming out of the toilet and they were very kind and changed the room to fix it. I appreciate your attention since this was the decisive thing to return to the place.

Everything was good and as expected. The view was spectacular. The hotel was not crowded, and there was plenty of moment when only my family enjoyed the pool. The staff was great too.

The room was a little outdated, and some corners in the closet hadn't been seen cleaning for a while. We didn't have much stuff, so we didn't use it. The beds, bathroom, room, and balcony were clean and ready to enjoy.

View amazing. Construction but understandable. It’s going to be even more beautiful when done. Thomas has excellent customer service and the front check in staff were all very nice and accommodating. We’d stay again for sure!

Wild dogs that wondered up, one growled and tried to bite my daughter.

Location and views were the best. Staff were all wonderful. Thomas at morning breakfast was a joy! So much to do a short drive away. Beach and pool towels are available. On-site restaurant was delicious.

They were doing renovations, and this facility will be more incredible when completed. There is no refrigerator in some rooms, but ice was available for our cooler. We must return!
