A warm welcome from reception staff from the first moment we stepped through the door made us feel truly 'at home' in this lovely boutique hotel, housed in a sensitively restored heritage building. Arriving on an early flight, we were happy to be able to leave our luggage at reception before check-in while we explored the friendly, multicultural neighborhood. Our quiet room with double glazed windows and efficient air conditioning was ready early, so we were given an early check-in, which we really appreciated. Our room was larger and better equipped than others we've stayed in in Singapore. It was cleverly designed and super-comfortable, with everything for our comfort; even including an emergency torch discreetly clipped beside the door, in case of need. Our small kitchen with induction hotplate , kettle, cooking utensils, fridge, and more gave us the option of eating in as well as out. During our stay, we gladly availed ourselves of the excellent free guest laundry facility with washing machines and dryers on Level 2, along with the iron and small ironing board in our room. We appreciated using the excellent coffee machine and the fresh drinking water station, where guests can re-fill the glass bottles provided. The rooftop dipping pool with its pleasant leafy surroundings was serene and relaxing; the perfect place to unwind after a busy day. The hotel's clear focus on reducing negative environmental impacts was demonstrated in many practical ways. The friendly tone and gentle humor of the guest information signs appealed to us. The excellent halal restaurant on the ground floor caters for both internal and external guests, showcasing local produce beautifully. We enjoyed the delicious flavours and beautiful presentation of this cuisine. Being allergic to gluten, I greatly appreciated the advice and extra care taken by the chef and restaurant staff to ensure that my meal experiences were safe and enjoyable.

The hotel is perfectly located 5 minutes from the metro station . Room was very clean, quiet , with a nice kitchenette . Swimming pool very little but super nice to use after a day spent sightseeing. A real plus is the possibility to make your laundry free of charge! A special thanks to Sati at the front desk for her kindness and good advises . 🤗

The staff was always very helpful and super friendly whenever we walked in or out. They supported me in any little inquiries unburden. The room was very unique with the bed up stairs and a kitchen living under, cool concept but unfortunately the stairs to walk up but mostly down felt to narrow and kinda unsafe. There was a good amount of space and storage. The bathroom was big but not stocked with some expected amenities ( not a both to me but just observation). Bed was unfortunately a bit uncomfortable. The laundry room was a huge FREE bonus. The dip pool was not bubbly but fine. The restaurant downstairs in not part of the same business but absolutely mind blowing with 10% discount. The location is great, close the to MRT and many buses, also walkable to areas I thought would bequite a trek. Many massage palours and indian food places open till late Do be discouraged, it did not feel unsafe and yes the massage palours can be used late without judgement.

The hall way was warm and humid compared to the room which was extremely cold. If we left aircon off, the floor would be moist on our return.

The room was really clean, and even though it was small there were plenty of storage shelves under the bed. We were right next to the laundry room, but the sound insulation is good so we didn't hear the machines, plus it was so convenient being able to pop next door and put a load of washing in, and then make hot drinks at the tea/coffee machine in the corridor. Bring extra hangers as it's sometimes easier to hang up damp washing than wait for the tumble dryers. The hotel is very convenient for the MRT, and to get back to the airport it was so easy to get on at Jalan Besar, all the way up to Expo and then it's just one quick change to get to Changi. If I knew how easy it was I wouldn't have booked a taxi transfer when we first arrived.

Our room's windows faced out into the central yard, where the glass lift is, and there's a room directly opposite. This meant we had to keep the blinds down unless we wanted people looking into our room when they were in the lift, so we didn't have much of a view.

Hotel was clean, modern and utilised the space so well. Being close to a MRT station, Wanderlust proved the perfect base for the F1. The room was very well maintained and cleaned by housekeeping, the water filter and little kitchenette was so useful as we didn’t have to buy water or boil it. Room was very intuitive with lots of nooks and crannies for storage. One of the best parts was the free laundry room! The washers and dryers are the best ones I’ve used yet - large, efficient and properly washed and dried your clothes! Reception and housekeeping were super friendly and absolute stars, doing their job always with a smile! I won’t hesitate to book here again next time I’m in Singapore!

The hotel room is not very spacious, but it’s very clean and well-equipped. There’s a water dispenser outside the room, and a microwave and ice are also available for guest use. We noticed the desk in our room was damaged, but after contacting the front desk, it was quickly repaired — very efficient service. The location is excellent, just about 100 meters from Jalan Besar MRT station. We would also like to compliment the Malay female staff member at checkout — she was polite and professional, and even allowed us to refill water before we left.

- Friendliness of the staff - Room was bigger than expected. Very tall ceilings. I was worried everything would feel cramped - Kitchenware was provided for 2 people. There is a proper fridge with a freezer. - Comfortable bed - Medium size 24/7 supermarket nearby - Underground stations nearby - Orchard street is at walkable distance - Computer components mall nearby (cheaper than large malls)

- No blackout blinds/curtains - There is no sound proofing from the hallway, so best to get up at normal hours, because they start cleaning in the morning - Sound proofing from the street isn't great, but this is not a 50 storey building, so there is always going to be some noise - No coffee machine. You get a kettle only (both were listed) - Internet speed wasn't great, which was a bit frustrating - No dishwasher (not a surprise) - TV is a bit outdated. Old LCD without any casting ability. Couldn't get audio in via HDMI - You have to go to a more central location if you want a wider range of food options for restaurants/delivery

The check in was seamless, and it was nice that the team will send us an email to check our preference. the facilities was very nice and the location was excellent! 3 mins away from jalan besar mrt DTL, and 6 mins away from Rochor DTL (depends on your walking speed). Many shops around, and if you are familiar with the place, you can easily go to Haji lane and sultan mosque! Below the hotel, you will be surprised to see a halal restaurant! It would be great if the hotel provided us with some extra towels/sponge for the sink. But other than that, everything was tip top! Was a steal honestly for the price 🥰

I 💖 it. Do you all know this feeling when you step into a room and you feel instantly at home? The size of the studio is perfect, enough place for a few suitcases (yes I read the other comments); the place is very clean; the attention given to details; the launderette; the free (good) coffee on floor 2. The staff is lovely, caring and always smiling! If you don’t mind the heat, then you can walk to ANYWHERE (10 min to Bugis, 40 min to Chinatown, 50 min to the Marina / Gardens by the Bay) or you can take the tube down the road! Life is so easy.

The staff at the reception is great, and they had our room ready before the normal check in time! There is a cute cafe downstairs, the beds are super comfortable, and the facilities are very nice too (coffee machine and water refill available on the floor, also washing machines and dryers for the guests free of charge, hairdryer, very big shower with great water pressure and temperature).

All in all it was great, just a couple of little things - the dipping pool was closed for works during our stay (but they informed us at check in), and the room is quite loud. We were right in front of the washer/dryer room and some guests used them in the middle of the night, or chatted at the coffee machine early in the morning - but nothing that can't be solved by earplugs. The room is also very small, ours didn't have a separate desk as shown in the pictures, but rather a foldable one next to the bed.
