The hotel is set in a beautiful location overlooking a large lake and trees which invite spending time on the balcony to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Downstairs you can play pool, go bowling, swim, play table tennis. Was a shame to be on my own. I could imagine coming back with friends for a few days of relaxation.

The bathrooms are outdated and water was leaking from the sink. Nieghbor smoked and I had to close the windows and doors to the balcony to keep it from drifting into the room.

The location and the view make this place. The view from the balcony is spectacular and it is close to the lake shore (no swimming but you can rent kayaks/canoes/SUP). The food at the restaurant was suprisingly good and cheap and the view again beautiful. Breakfast was an ok buffet. Having the swimming pool, sauna and sun deck made for a very relaxing stay also for the child. In the room there was water and wine waiting for us and it had good storage space. Parking is easy on the premises.

The hotel is obviously past it's best days. Overall you see signs of aging, wear-and-tear and need of upgrading. The biggest concern was the low fences on the balconies which makes it dangerous especially for children or pets. Internet was choppy.

This is very good hotel with nice 4 stars! The room was very clean, complicated, view was that kind that no posible to go out from the balcony, you stay and look on the lake! Sauna was one of the best that I tested in Romania! The team of the hotel is very friedly and solved all our recomendations.Special thanks to Bogdan! We played bouling and cayak on the lake! To make conclusion we can say that here you can relax, you can feel like at home and of course we will come back here! Mulțumim echipei hotelului pentru o astfel de vacanță!

We had a great experience at Valea cu pesti. The location and view from the rooms is magnificent, right on the transfagarasan highway and in front of the Vidraru dam. The room and facilities, including pool, sauna and jacuzzi - all available to use at no extra cost- were very clean. Room had a hairdryer and bedsheets were of very good quality and clean. Staff were kind and very helpful, they offered travelling tips and we even found a bottle of local wine in our room on our arrival!

Sometimes we wished some signs were in English and we feel that the restaurant could have been improved by providing some more vegetarian/ vegan options. But overall a very good experience and value for money given the location of this hotel.

Location of the hotel is amazing. We had an exciting view from our room to Vidraru lake. The room itself was good, except one really small problem with the shower. It's very silent there at night, despite the road is quite close to hotel. The breakfast was very good. We also had a dinner in the hotel's restaurant - all the dishes and service were good, we're completely satisfied. The only thing - it's better to speak Romanian to be well understood. :)

Nothing really significant, except the thing that neighbours are very audible sometimes, mostly because of silence of the area itself. WiFi connection could be better.

The place is beautiful! The most amazing view, the nature gets you from every corner. The staff is kind and so friendly helped us in every need. The spa area is also comfy and the view espectacular. Beds are so comfortable, we all slept very well. Breakfast was great, and the restaurant Devine. The food so tasty and fresh we really enjoyed ourselves could have stayed a week with the kids.

The air conditioning could only be managed from the reception so I was stuck with the same temperature all the time and it was noisy. The phone was not connected, so everything you wanted to ask you had to go down to the reception.

Very beautiful location, in fron of the lake, big room, comfortable, big bathroom. Good air condition. We were welcome with bottles of water and a bottle of wine, that was very kind. The breakfast is good, with a nice view of the lake, I would add some helathy cereals, and wholemeal bread, I ennjoyed the spa zone also with views of the lake.

Everything was good but in order to improve I woukd add a glass protection for the tub instead of a curtain, and renew some of the furniture. It look a bit old styled. In the balcony the holows built their nests and are a little noisy. It didn't bother much, but is something you might know.

No doubt most amazing place in whole Transfagarasan road. On the edge of Vidraru lake triangle. All hotel is very nice and clean, has free spa for people who stay there. Very delicious food in restaurant. Big separate bar at the entrance lobby with tv. Big terrace with amazing view to the lake. Also there is kayak and boats renting place 100 metres down to the lake (just not worked that day for some reason, thats sad).

Air conditioner not working at all, luckily was cold night. But at least guy from reception tried to help a lot. But I think its problem of whole central conditioner system, which has to be fixed by hotel.

This hotel is located in a very beautiful area surrounded by forest and offers a astonishing view over the Vidraru Lake! It is a perfect location to enjoy the fresh air and relaxing atmosphere! Thank you very much to all the staff that works there!

Maybe is only me, the pillows were quite hard and uncomfortable and because we stayed one night only, we didn’t bother to ask for different pillows! I don’t have any other complaints to make! The view over the Vidraru Lake from outside restaurant is amazing. I recommend with all my heart!
