In my opinion, this Hotel has the best SPA Area I have seen in this region. The Pools are very big, and they are kept at a high temperature constantly. Sauna is always on (during the operational hours) and it has a lot of room (compared with other hotels where they would turn it on for 1 hours and only if we booked it). The entire SAP was kept clean and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

There were two minor issues that I noticed but were not a big deal and did not affect our great experience at this Hotel 1) The Sound Isolation of the room we staied in (room 19, on the first floor) was not that good. During the Day we could hear people from the nearby pools, through the Closed Balcony Door. But this was NOT an issue during the night because the Hotel is in a relatively quite locations and the pools are closed. 2) The shower tap in our room was loose and with the small touch it either shut the water off, or changed the temperature. It was a bit annoying when showering, because it was extremely easy to shut the water off or make it cold unintentionally.

The hotel has everything you need, spa, pool, a good restaurant. It's clean and it also provides towels and bathrobes for the pool and spa. The river view from the terrace is quite nice.

I didn't like the fact that you must keep a paper bracelet that you receive at check-in during the entire stay, for pool access. It is not removable, and if it breaks, you have to keep it with you. I think they should find a different method for pool access to the ones that have rooms booked.

Nice, clean, comfortable hotel. Staff was always there to assist. By the pool, there was a lady, always moping the extra water and taking drinks order. Both massage therapist were excellent. Water temperature was great. Food was good and coming in big portions. Breakfast was rich and had a lot of options. Restaurant staff was attentive and offering help when the line at the coffee machine was long. Immediately replacing any food or drink items that finished. Rooms are spacious, clean, very good mattresses, lights are enough, bathroom and amenities as per 4 stars hotel. Very happy with the time we spent there. We had a surprise celebration, the hotel was very accommodating and made the day special. Thank you!.

There is nothing negative about this hotel. The location is beautiful and easily accessible, the private parking is spacious and under camera surveillance. The rooms are beautiful, warm, there is a home-like feeling. The bed mattress is very comfortable, also my relative had an excellent sleep in spite of their back problems. The room is also very quiet. The hotel atmosphere is lovely. I have to emphasize the attitude of the staff - they are so wonderful, professional and smiling. All of them: at the reception, restaurant, cleaning and maintainance, and manager. The food is amazing. Breakfast has a variety of everything, very tasty! We also had the dinner at the hotel every evening during our stay, the menu is very well put together, a lot of tasty options. Our dinner was perfect every time, we tried the "dorada" fish with polenta, eggplant salad, shrimp salad, salmon-avocado starter, "papanasi" desert... The spa is wonderful with inside + outside pool, Finnish and salt saunas, and lovely music. Last, but not least, all places (indoor + outdoon hotel premises) are spotless clean. This is our second time at River hotel and we are looking forward for our next stay. <3

Relax and joy is the middle name of this beautiful place. The hotel has acces to the pool indoor and outdoor, with hot thermal water, sauna masage ( the massage need to be payed) and jacuzzi. The stuff was very nice and always eager to help you and the room was very big and clean. Breakfast was delicious, really nice food and the view from the rastaurant is top ❤️ because you cand see the Olt river. Car parking free, elevator.

Everything was incredible. From the staff, the facilities, the cleanliness, rooms, food, etc. We do not have anything negative to say. The food in the restaurant is fantastic. The breakfast is also amazing with a wide variety and high quality. Ms. Maria at the spa gives an excellent massage - I highly recommend her. The thermal pool has a great temperature, and the mini pool for kids is also good. The rooms are comfortable and have a nice temperature. You even get free tea, coffee, and water in the room. There's also a mini fridge with extra snacks. You are provided with bathtowels, towels for the spa, robes, and slippers. The cleanliness all around is amazing. This place definitely deserves more than 3 stars. It exceeded our expectations, and we will surely be back. Thank you.

No steam room. False advertising on restaurant menu. "shrimp with basmati rice 55 Lei." And then the rice is actually another 11 lei. If the menu said shrimp with basmati rice 66 Lei, I would have been perfectly happy. But this sort of false advertising leaves a bad taste in my mouth. update: The owner just called me. He says the problem was not due to policy, but to an error by the waitress. He offered to send me a refund for the rice.

Everything was perfect! The hotel room was spacious, had very nice design and offered great views to the mountain and river (we were at the 3rd floor). The matress was very comfortable, not too soft, not too hard. The bedroom and bathroom were very well organized and practical. The bathroom has a spacious shower and a lot of space to place personal items on. The room had a nice balcony. Everything was spotless. All staff was one of the most friendly that I have encountered. The spa was very well organized and spotless, included an indoor-outdoor thermal pool, children pool, 2 saunas, showers, nice music and massage room. The restaurant has amazing food, and breakfast was very variate and delicious. One of the best breakfast experiences for us. Hotel's own good and spacious parking space was available for free. Riverside landskapes and riverside walking path are close to the hotel. 5 star experience for us and we we are looking forward to visit again this hotel.

Good facilities, , comfortable, good parking area, nice view if you book riverfront rooms. The food was excellent a la carte.

The niche above the bed was fool of spider webs and even a spider, hard place to clean, but still. In the end everything was solved on cleaning request. The bad small in the bathroom, probably from the sewer.
