Spacious room and overall, good value. The restaurant serves very good food and has very good prices. Great view from the balcony. I appreciate the ashtray on the balcony, most places make me feel discriminated for being a smoker :-).

The room looked like in the 90's, which was ok for me. It didn't feel immaculate, but clean enough for a one day stay. The shower door was a bit loose and the shower was a bit leaky. Also, the controls did not work very well, they really need some maintenance. The light in the bathroom was very low, and almost non-existent while in the shower. Overall, it's negligible, but not if you plan to spend more than 1-2 days.

Very good location, close to the city center. Nice big rooms, very clean, comfortable beds, good breakfast.

I did not like that even though theoretically by paying for a room I had access to the SPA, when I arrived at 3:45PM the staff said that in weekends they have short program for SPA until 4PM. That is totally illogical, it doesn't make any sense to have a short program in the weekend when you have more customers.. Very disappointed that I could not use the SPA. Without the SPA, the value for money is not great at all.

Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The restaurant was very good and stayed open quite late. Parking was easy and free. The location was excellent as well. I liked the smart lobby area too.

If I were seeking perfection I would say it could be helpful to have a safe deposit box in the room.

The place was really nice inside and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I arrived at 5am due to my flight and they still let me book in and even upgraded me to a double room for free as they didn't have a single.

Water pressure in the shower was poor when having it on hot so couldn't have a proper shower while there.

I loved the architecture of the hotel and the classic way that the hotel was decorated! I loved the friendliness of the stuff and the professionalism of the front desk!

The room was extraordinary: spacious, well organized, very large bathroom, equipped with jacuzzi, bidet, bathrobes, etc. Very kind staff, very good food.

A mention would be the fact that on the lower floors the view towards the mountain is blocked by buildings, but it is an insignificant inconvenience compared to the comfort in the room.

This hotel is located in the centre of the city, and has sufficient of restaurants and bars in walking distance. Checking was OK, although the creation of an invoice was difficult for the receptionist on duty. Parking (motorcycle) was not a problem: “you can leave it there”, right in front of reception. The hotel has a nice, old-ish charm about it. There is a lot of room in the lobby and other areas and apparently it can also host conferences and events. The room was Good, good bathroom, wifi was good, and sleep was excellent. The invoice was finally created on checkout in the morning. Thank You receptionist. All in all a Good place ot stay in Baia Mare.

Breakfast was ok, but could have been better in a hotel of this allure. Maybe I was a bit early at 0700. Something to think about. Not a big problem though.

Hotel easy to find. Polire personal. Enough parking places. Adequate breakfast. Comfortable bed.

All sockets were hidden behind furniture. Wifi did not work

The hotel is old, but looks ok (lobby is quite big and looks impressive when you enter the hotel). The location is great! Also has a parking lot next to it - very convenient. The room was fairly clean, huge bed, mattress was too soft for our taste (we like it to be a bit more firm), the bathroom had a tub, but we only used it for showers. The towels were changed regularly - which was nice! The food at breakfast was good - not very diversified, but enough to enjoy it. Occasionally we also ate other meals there and the cooking was delicious. Overall a good experience. Oh and the view was great - towards the nearby park.

Water pressure and temperature had occasional swings - probably depending on others showering at the same time and then finishing (not sure)... but it was annoying and kept you from fully relaxing while taking the shower, as you could have too hot water (or too cold water) from one moment to another. Could happen 2-3 times during a 5 min shower. Also very poor lighting in the bathroom - especially the shower.
