The location was amazing! The room was very comfortable with nice amenities (including strong WiFi), and the breakfast was excellent.

The first night my room smelled a bit like sewage, but the staff moved me to a different room and I didn't have the problem again.

Art hotel is a beautiful hotel located very close to the centre of Sibiu. We stayed for a mother daughter trip and it was an excellent choice. We had the double bedroom room, the sofa transformed into a huge and confortable bed and the actual bed in the main bedroom was comfortable, large and with a very nice design. The room(s) was huge with everything you needed. The bathroom was also large, very clean, very good water pressure and all that you needed was included. Plenty of space for clothes, TV's in both rooms, room temperature was great and you can suit it to your liking, the view from the bedroom was great overlooking landmarks of Sibiu and from the other room you can see inside the courtyard of the hotel. We had a small issue with a plug which was immediatelly addressed and solved, same with the door lock which was solved on the spot. The staff is welcoming and polite, the onside of the hotel is spotless. The breakfast is rich in options and you will surely enjoy lots of traditional, home-made selections that they offer. It was a perfect experience and we would surely come again! I forgot to mention how amazingly decorated the hotel was, just beautiful setting giving a whimsical vibe.

This is not something I didn't like, but I would have appreciated a balcony option. Still the inside courtyard is easily accesible and you can enjoy a coffee there.

Enjoyed our stay. Great central location just 3 mins walk from main square. Lovely little courtyard to have breakfast in or relax outside. Room lovely size, clean with good facilities. Shower great. There was enough variety for me to have something at breakfast I liked even though there were other things available that I was not interested in. Staff very friendly and helpful with good English for helping us sort out taxis/Bolt or have an evening drink. Useful for reception being manned 24hours as did not arrive until 3am. Good communication by email for responding to booking requests (eg on early hours arrival).

Minor irritations. Needed a side light at both sides of bed rather than just one. Breakfast scrambled eggs could have been better - personal preference I liked only one of the hot cut up sausage options that were available on one day of the stay - other days that was not available. More fruit options (melon) which seemed to be offered on only one day.

This was by far the best experience we had at a hotel during our recent trip to Romania. From the interaction before arriving at the hotel, to the reception staff, the rooms, the amazing breakfast - everything was top notch! Location is great - right near the big square in the old city. Rooms were absolute great - spacious, nicely decorated, with al the amenities, comfy beds, and a very nice touch being the refillable water - both still and bubbly - which you could refill from the breakfast room water fountains, at any time of day/night! Speaking of breakfast - it was amazing - with some great options of spreads and special dishes, cold cuts, cheeses, yogurts, jams, sweets, eggs, juices, fruits and many more. Coffee was available from a machine - great for all the espresso based drinks. Staff was great, courteous, professional - in all areas - reception, breakfast room, cleaning staff - thanks to everyone! All-in-all - we had a great time staying at Art Hotel and visiting this beautiful city of Sibiu!

The shower pressure was quite weak - and the overhead fixed showerhead couldn't be activated. Not a big deal, as I always prefer the flexible handheld showerhead anyway, just thought to mention it, maybe it can be fixed for future guests.

Very Handy for the main tourist parts of the old city. Rooms were clean and had facilities we required. Staff were really helpful and reception staffed 24 hours so we were able to check in no problem at 3 am after a delayed flight. We returned to the Hotel for a one night stay on our return to Sibiu. Staff helpful in booking us a taxi to sebes. Breakfasts nice enough with enough choice for us to enjoy and feel full for most of the morning. Lovely little courtyard to relax in.

A bedside light at both sides of bed would be nice. Signs that shower may be leaking on wallpaper of the room.

This hotel is exceptional. My room was in the separate building with lots of light. It was extremely well decorated. I really loved the decor. The hotel even has a bright yellow Fiat 500 to rent parked in the drive! The breakfast had a fabulous range of food and the staff are all super friendly and very helpful. Being in the centre of town, you only have to step out the door and everything is at your fingertips.

Everything is absolutely perfect! Girls will definitely appreciate cosmetic by famous brand Rituals... Great location just 3 minutes walk from the main square. Few public parkings near hotel for 10 lei per day. Breakfast are very good. The selection of food is not that big, but everything is fresh and high quality. Cofee is also great, like in coffee shop. Note that economy rooms r not in the main building, but in the same courtyard. Also I should mention the amazing Christmas decorations! They r absolutely fantastic and it's really one of the most beautifully decorated building in town. I would definitely recommend this hotel as a best combination of value for money.

I didn't like pillows that much, for me they were a little bit hard, but it's the matter of taste. Also after daily room making up cleaning lady didn't put us tea bags. We like drinking tea, so it was small inconvenience.

The location of this hotel is great in relation to the old historic center. If you have any handicaps the hotel can be a slight challenge for there are steps, and in the room there are small steps over thresholds to toilet area and into shower. Overall i would recommend the room. Breakfast was plentiful.

Artwork in room. I don't consider myself a prude but the art above bed was a naked lady that just seemed inappropriate.

We stayed for 5 nights during the week before Christmas and we had booked the Deluxe Suite because one of us did not have vacation and had to work each day. The suite was wonderful in terms of comfort, utilities, how clean it was and how it accommodated our needs. The staff at the reception was incredibly nice, helpful and really supportive when our last day we had to stay and work for a couple of hours from the lobby after our check out. If we return to Sibiu for another vacation, we would definitely choose again this hotel and we would not stay in some other one. The location is excellent to visit on foot the entire city. The breakfast has tasty food including fresh and local produce. Thank you for everything!

The location of the hotel is very good, only 1 minute from the city centre. The room was a good size and had a balcony. The bathroom is also good. The staff is friendly and professional and the breakfast was good and included in the price. The price for the room was also very reasonable.

We arrived by car and should know that the hotel does not have its own car park. But we found a parking space directly in front of the hotel without any problems. The prices for the public car parks are very reasonable when you compare them with other European cities.
