Perfectly located on a quaint, quiet square and just a quick staircase up through an archway (charming in and of itself!) to the main squares and old city. Highly recommend the cafe right outside the front door, they were awesome, spoke great English, and delicious coffee! The hotel staff were friendly though a little bit awkward checking in. We received an upgrade to a very large suite, which was nice - ample space to spread out!

This place would benefit SO much from some upgrades. It was clean and nice and in a great building, but the style was very out of date - artificial flower decor, heavy fabrics, etc. The bathroom was clean and nice but again kind of old-style. I really liked the jewel tone theme to the rooms (ours was a beautiful peacock blue), but it could be done much more simply and elegantly. This is a relatively minor complaint, but my husband and I both had the same thought - it could be REALLY a top notch hotel if it made some modernizing and design upgrades. It was also unclear whether breakfast was included, or where/when that would be. Tables on the lobby floor implied that's breakfast spot, but we never really saw any food set up.

- the location is perfect! close enough (2 minutes) to all major attractions, but in a quiet location - the 16th/17th century is renovated with great taste and has a lovely medieval feel but yet all furnishings are high quality - breakfasty snacks were available throughout the day which was heaven-sent when we came back at 3am after a few drinks :) the minibar is fully stocked with delicious treats too - staff were friendly and helpful

It's not a dislike but something to be aware of. Our room had a door relatively close to the breakfast area where we could hear people getting ready for their day. Maybe if we didn't come back at 3am we would have joined them, so that's on us. However, if you like sleeping in and don't want to hear any noises in the morning you should message the hotel in advance as I'm sure they will accommodate you.

The accommodation is fantastic, but it was a little overshadowed by a group of young people partying in their car in front of the building with the car engine running loudly, and they smoked pot. I am sorry that I did not know the application to report this problem at the time: Sibiu City App

The appartments are very close to the city center, a couple of minutes of walking to the central square. It’s been recently renovated and they’re well maintained. Rooms are large and comfy. There’s a small kitchen for fixing a coffee or tea or having breakfast. Right next to the property there’s a very nice coffee roastery and cafe. The owner was very nice and helped us with some good recommendations of places nearby.

The neighboring houses, though historical monuments, are mostly not renovated yet and not as attractive as the main square(s) houses. The windows and doors don’t have much soundproofing, we were there during quiet times but it might be a bit noisy during busy season. Getting there by car is a bit tricky, as always in older city centers, and there’s limited parking options.

Hotel is located 100m away from Sibiu Small Square, a perfect location to enjoy evening walk to main attractions of the area. Hosts are very friendly and will help you (free of charge) to have access to a parking area nearby. Breakfast was varied and was provided on the ground floor lobby. It was delicious and perssonel are very attentive and willing to fulfill any wish for special requests. Breakfast coffee is also delicious. Rooms are beautiful and this time we choose a different room than on our last stay with a different layout and we love it.

- offers no breakfast, though the pictures on booking would lead you to think they offer breakfast - the carpet was stained and both the carpet and the sofa looked dirty - the blankeg over the fresh sheets was also stained, obvs not cleaned up, and the towels were placed on it - even though vintage style, the furniture is dated

The central location, the interior, historic building, spacious chic apartment, high ceiling.

In the pink bedroom, the air conditioning is blowing right to the bed. Thus, it can't be used at night. Also, there are no blind/dark curtins in that room. The shower was clogged, unfortunately. The kitched is very big, but only 3 small plates, and no cutting knife, why? :)

Beautiful decor. Comfortable beds. Wonderful staff. They waited up for us when we were delayed, had great local suggestions for food and day trips. I cant speak highly enough of this experience.
