The rooms have a beautiful view of the Delta river, and the sunrises and sunsets are astounding. The staff are always ready to help. They recommended us a boat tour, and helped us get our laundry done in a timely manner.

The breakfast is fairly basic (bread, jam, vegetables, salami and cheese slices, and omelette). It would've been nicer to have more local Romanian food, like eggplant salads and mamaliga.

We spent a five-day stay at Delta Nature Resort, a corner of heaven, I marvel at everything, from the silence that surrounds this fairytale place, where you can only hear the songs of the birds and the roar of nature, to the view that each room has, with the terrace towards the lake, which is magnificent, the tastefully furnished rooms, very beautiful, the restaurant is superb, with the terrace from where you can admire the entire landscape and the lake, the staff and Chief Julip are very attentive to the needs of every person who passes by this location, impeccable service, and the goodies prepared by Chief Julip exceed any expectations of any demanding customer! Exceptional, fresh, high quality preparations! It is one of the wonderful places in this world and I have not visited a few in my life! We will come back with great love!

Really good breakfast which was included in the price, impeccable service, the general manager, Julip, really made sure that each and every guest felt comfortable and had a great time, amazing views from the villas, AC in the room was great, wifi worked really well which made remote work fantastic, the food in the restaurant was great (really good quality and selection for a fair price), parking right be the villa, absolutely quiet and serene, perfect place to get away from city noises and to get some rest, the staff was absolutely friendly and always willing to help.

Didn't know exactly where we were going, but we stumbled upon a hidden gem :) Sure, the place is still a bit run down and the design a bit outdated but the bungalows are spacious and decently equipped, and you can really tell the new management is trying hard to restore and improve things. As expected, the resort is surrounded only by nature & bird song, with brilliant views of the Somova canals (birdwatchers will love looking at the pelicans and swans right from the porch of their bungalow. Also a pair of storks are nesting right in the middle of the resort!). Local fishermen can take you on boat rides. All the staff were polite and helpful. Julip (the just-a-bit-overwhelmed manager) is a welcoming host who is visibly giving 110% to satisfy his guests. Not only that, but he is a top-notch chef with experience in Michelin-starred kitchens, so the dining experience was quite fantastic. The last thing i would have expected in Somova is a delicious Indian butter chicken! Also loved the local fish (I tried the catfish), the popcorn shrimp, the poached pears, the parmesan-crusted pork, the gigantic steak sandwich, the breakfast omelets etc. etc. Would return just for the food. A nice little swimming pool looks like it will soon be functional and there is a BBQ area. And a very friendly dog called Babu. Bonus: La Sapata winery is in the neighboring village and worth a visit.

In early May this wasn't an issue, but I hope they get the mosquito nets fixed for the summer season or things might get itchy.

Went there for lunch and imediately decided to book a bungalow. We were just smitten with the view and the serene atmosphere. The location is great for those who are looking to relax and enjoy nature. I could have spent all day long sitting on the porch, with direct view to the lakes and the danube, listening to birds, crickets and the wind through the vegetation. Relaxing by the pool is also a great way to spend time. A couple of minutes away there is a dock, we went fishing there and we even caught fish. The food served at the restaurant is delicious, I was quite impressed by the presentations and how tasty they were. The fish and rice meal was one of the best I had. And not to mention the desserts! Everything is in good taste, the bungalows are very comfortable and well integrated in the landscape, with some local architecture elements. Friendly hosts, every request we had was accommodated easily. As a bonus, the dog they have there is a goofball, my daughter spent a lot of time playing with him. This place is truly a hidden gem

An experience trully "off the beaten track". Venture in nature, world cuisine, tranquil and breathtaking surroundings. Absolutely charming host, Julip goes out of his way to help his guests get the most of their stay - from cooking special dishes learned while cruising the seas to nice atmosfere on location to providing assistance with arranging various adventures in the beautiful sorroundings.

As nature can be quite unforgiving on man made structures, ongoing investment will have to be made in the villas and restaurant, leisure boats and maybe cutting some trails to explore the fauna in the bush and near the lakes.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The rooms are incredibly spacious and comfortable, so close to nature and fresh air. Pool was lovely to cool down. Food very tasty and breakfast wonderful. Easy to get to with no issues. Had a cool Little room to play table tennis and pool. Kids loved that. Sweet dog on the property which made it feel just like home.

Would be nice to have boat trips from there however it doesn’t matter as they helped us organise and was super easy. Little bit of maintenance here and there but nothing a little bit of paint can’t fix.

We had an absolutely lovely stay at this hotel! From the moment we stepped into our room, we were captivated by the stunning views and the prime location. A big highlight of our stay was the dining experience; the food was simply exceptional. I had the best burger of my life here! The staff deserves a special thank you for their wonderful hospitality and for making our stay so memorable. We were so taken by the beauty and atmosphere that we even considered extending our trip! We are looking forward to return to this hotel. Highly recommended to book. You will not regret it.

The facilities are a bit rustic and I think the property is undergoing a slow facelift but it’s a steal for the space you get, the view, and proximity to great food they offer in their restaurant.

The location was superb to see the Danube Delta and is a lovely place to relax. We were staying in one of the renovated villas which was comfortable. If you fancy a relaxing few days then this is the spot to spend them. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Tulcea, as the nearest town, was not somewhere that I would want to visit again but it is the gateway to the Danube Delta so a necessary evil! The resort is currently being renovated and I cannot wait to see it when it is finished.

Beautiful location with a very nice view and pretty sunset. In hot days you can use the swimming pool. It has some kind of a White lotus or Poirot wibe :) The rooms have everything you need, including toothbrusch, toothpaste, laundry bag, eletric repelent. And at nigh its very dark and very quite, which I love. Also dinner and breakfast were good, very nice and helpful staff.

The second after the sunset moscitos will attack you from everywhere, so I recommend repelent.
