As it's quite close to Suceava, the hotel can be used as a good starting point to visit the most important and beautiful places in all of the Suceava county / Moldavia: the Christian-Orthodox monasteries and churches. The hotel is truly a 4 star one, it fully deserves them. Extremely clean and well maintained. The room was spacious (we were 3 people) and very clean and the bathroom was both super clean and had all the necessary stuff. I only talked to the lady at the reception when we checked in and out, she was very polite and nice, as well. The hotel had everything we could wish for - too bad we only stayed for 2 nights. It was definitely a comfortable stay (even if we only used the hotel for sleeping and showering). There's not much to walk around the hotel, as it's outside the city - which is a good thing, in fact, because you wouldn't want to stay inside a city which is both quite small and cramped with buildings. Breakfast was probably the best and the most comprehensive I have ever eaten in all hotels I've ever stayed at. It literally had everything (and as a nice bonus, salmon as well). The restaurant is also very nice, clean and well maintained and the personnel is very polite, helpful and involved in the business. The interior garden where the breakfast can be served is not only beautiful with lots of flowers, but adds up to a very recomforting atmosphere - something the hotel really exceeds in.

Food prices for the dinner are outrageously expensive - we chose to eat in town, as it would've been a complete waste of money to eat at the hotel. The breakfast was included - but I don't want to think how much it would cost for someone not staying there and just popping in from the outside to have breakfast. If the menu for the dinner had more "human" prices, we would've eaten there as well.

Great hotel with super large suite for families and beautiful garden at the back that makes having dinner such a delight! The food was exquisite, the staff was so attentive and friendly, really keen to make our stay comfortable and memorable! Also, seeing Hagigadar Monastery from our window made it that much more special... Many thanks and we will be back for sure!!!😃

The sofa bed not as comfortable

The Sonnenhöf hotel in Suceava is truly a refreshment for the mind. The environment is refined and all the staff are very courteous and welcoming. What struck me most is that both the staff, but also the guests, use a gentle tone of voice and there is an air of tranquility, especially after a busy day of work but also of leisure. The rooms are cozy, comfortable and very clean. What is most surprising is the breakfast: the enormous variety of the culinary offer exceeds all imagination and satisfies any palate. Overall it is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in.

It is a comfortable hotel with attentive personal and good atmosphere. That’s why I selected it for a second time already during my business trip. Personal is polite and fair. Precious time they noticed doubled payment for a room and proactively returned me back an overpaid amount. It positively impressed me.

In general everything was fine.

Wonderful, friendly and helpful staff; excellent restaurant both for dinner and breakfast; pale, discreet colour scheme; comfortable rooms; mini bar. The location was out of town, but with Uber it wasn't a problem: we paid € 4 euro to get to the centre, and we never waited more than 2 minutes to get one. Uber works very well in Suceava.

The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was amazing. The location is a quiet part of town, but not far away from the main attractions. The staff went above and beyond to make sure that we had a comfortable stay.

The AC in my room didn't work that well.

The breakfast and the staff keep me coming back here. The rooms are large for Europe, and the hotel is always clean. There is a nice area to work from in the standard rooms, and during the spring and summer it is possible to work on the terrace while enjoying a coffee or cool beverage.

This time, there was one day that the water on the entire road was turned off for about six hours. Piping, in general, is an issue in Romania, but it's a little bit more difficult when you're staying in a hotel room. The hotel did post the sign and give adequate notice, however. The issue was a city problem, not the establishment's.

A beautiful hotel with excellent service just at the outskirts of Suceava. As Suceava is pretty small, not a long way away from the coty center and attractions. We were there for just one night in a group of 12 and is definitely the place to stay in Suceava.

Nothing to mention, really.

The hotel is beautiful. The breakfast area and restaurant are very nice. My room was very clean. The receptionist was friendly. Easy parking in front of the hotel. 

The hotel has a major problem with mosquitoes. My room was filled with mosquitoes (at least 20), which was completely unexpected. The room’s window was closed, and there didn’t seem to be any trees or water in the vicinity. I don’t know what the issue is, but they simply need to solve this. 

This was a repeat visit for us. Parking makes the hotel very attractive, as does the location (just outside the town). We were there to tour Bucovina, so not having to drive through the town to get in and out was perfect. Breakfast was excellent, we enjoy the restaurant and terrace, staff were very helpful.

Our room was a little noisy, but that was the price, perhaps, of the convenience.
