Loved the welcome - awesome owners and manager greeted me on arrival. It was a late booking, and I had a couple of extra requests as I was travelling to Mozambique, but nothing was too much of an effort for them to sort out. My specific room was perfect for overnight stays. The security was also great with gates locked at a specific time - I felt safe which is a big issue travelling as a woman on her own in South Africa.

There was nothing I did not like. Will be back.

We left early each morning a packed breafast was provided in a nice small cooler ! Even a coffee maker, boiled water and cups where provided. Swimmingpool is nice with some seating parts in it as well. Rooms have airco when electricity company does not cut the power due to power saving. There where no power cuts when we where there. They do have lights and a fan which are battery operated. Parking is large and within the gated area. We where self driving and gotten a lot af helpfull tips and tricks for the Kruger Park.

Homey feeling. Very nice hosts. Very eager to help. Location very handy to go to Krüger park as it is 10min away from Crocodile Bridge. I also like the approach of the owners of trying to be as ecological as possible by recycling, reusing and providing water refills.

Maybe there are some outdated details, but to be honest I think you can’t get better quality/price and everyone is so nice that I’m definitely coming back. 🤗

I arrived by car from Johannesburg after a long trip. A delicious local BBQ was organized by Sue and the staff on that night where my kids devoured the meat! We also did the laundry (hand washed) and hung our clothes in the back of the house. Next morning, the staff had folded everything :-) Heading to Krueger the next day, Sue was super knowledgeable and gave us advices that were super useful to get around.

You need a car to get there, it is a bit off the path.

The room on the end at pool area, I think it would be nice to have more privacy between your bedroom and outside the sliding door where guests tend to sit and smoke and if the sliding door is open their smoke comes into your room. We had to keep our door closed.

Loved the peaceful setting. My pool room view also had a view of the trees. One could hear the birds, what a lovely sound.

Discussed some issues with the owner who will follow-up and rectify.

The location is extra but it's truly Sue, the owner, making the difference. An incredible warm, gentle and caring person. Breakfast was really nice too!

The bed was a little bit too hard for us but it's a question of personal choice. An extra pillow would have been great too.

It is, in my view, perfect for a single person even though there were couples and families that stayed over. It's in a beautiful setting, lots of trees and plants, and the dogs that I saw made it even more homely . Had a delicious breakfast dinner menu looks good as well Loved it, Sue and her husband great hosts going out off there way to make your stay a pleasant one.

That there is a very inviting swimming pool but it's winter by us and I couldn't swim

my second visit to Trees Too Lodge, Stayed here for an extended period for work many years ago and didn't hesitate to rebook once i knew i would be bak in the area on holiday. Warm welcome from the Owners Sue and Martin. The Rooms are very nicely designed with thatched roof and exposed brick situated around a central pool area. Overall a great lodge with excellent access to the Kruger park with the Crocodile bridge gate only 10km up the road. Excellent food cooked on site by the staff. Would not hesitate to recomend to friends or to book again.

Breakfast is standard to the breakfast in South Africa, meal was warm and nice coffee.

The room I stayed in was close to the neighbor and it was noisy with the music playing most of the night.
