The host is very friendly, actually the whole family is very sweet. They tried by all means to come up with interesting things for me to eat because I don't eat a lot of things. But I appreciate the effort

I didn't like the fact that the towels were not washed. The cleaning lady said they wash the towels only after 5 days

This place is exactly what you want for a bush vacation to escape the hustle, bustle and pretence of the city. The feel is rustic, but with enough creature comforts to add some chill. The room was comfortable, serviced daily and functional, the staff were friendly, helpful and fantastic to just have an awesome chat with. The property is well located inside Marloth, so shops, restaurants and other facilities like the water park and laundry service are super close. To top it off, their food was also great and reasonably priced. We had a fantastic family holiday!

The weekend stay in the tent was a symphony of sights, sounds, and sensations that will linger in our memories for years to come. It was a reminder of the beauty of simplicity and the joy of disconnecting from the digital world to reconnect with nature and loved ones. We departed feeling rejuvenated, inspired, and grateful for the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the wonders of the great outdoors.

We were late to reach the HomeBase at 6:30 pm as were held in Kruger by Lions and Elephants - blocking the road! And Ian - The owner was very welcoming, and assured even when we were late. On Arrival, he was at the parking of the property - and welcomed us. Showed the room, and gave comfort as Marloth Park is a private Nature Reserve. He was kind to ask for anything to prepare for dinner, after seeing we were late. As my daughter likes Bread and Tomato Ketchup, Ian and Licia, offered it going beyond! Ian took our personal preferences for a Vegetarian diet and ensured breakfast for the next day was ready by 8 am - yogurt, fruit plate, bread, and Omelet for my daughter! It was a wholesome breakfast. The property is Unique: with small ponds, lots of trees, and privacy, and our room was well equipped with AC, a bunk bed, a fridge, a coffee set, and a water Kettle.! Garden has Nice decoration, a setup which was relaxing and soothing! We could see Kudu, Deer, and warthog near the property, and My daughter enjoyed seeing these animals! And At night could hear frogs, Zebra, and crickets! Sharing a positive experience. Overall Stay was awesome! and I recommend the Place and hospitality from Ian and Licia!

Room Door can have rubber storm guard, so that inspects etc wont enter the room. - Just a Suggestion !

Great host, simple process. comfortable accommodation, Lots of animals. Everything you need really. Its not a big unit. but its perfectly cosy and nicely looked after.

Small things that are not a major issue. Shower head in tent was super low so its definitely not ideal for tall folks. But was a good hot shower. They had coffee and sugar and milk etc, but some tea would have been good too.

We felt very welcomed, the place was very clean, friendly staff and very accommodating. The aircon in the room saved us from the 38° weather outside. There was a splash pool that we could use. At night, there were animals roaming around us, and we even got to see a cute little bush baby. It was amazing, and we would definitely want to go back.

As tall people, the only thing that wasn't great is that the toilet is extremely close to the wall.

We didn't have breakfast but It was a peaceful place and we are even thinking of coming back in December with the (girls) teenagers I loved the sunset it was beautiful, when we arrived and I loved the garden

Upon our arrival there was no electricity due to Eskom but the manager gave us a light. Water from the geyser was still hot

The hosts are amazing, very friendly and very accommodating. The safari tent was perfectly comfortable and clean. Loved the animals passing by and feeling like we were in the heart of the bush. Very close to Crocodile Bridge gate so also very convenient for accessing the Park. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back. Thank you for a great 5 days!

Fantastic idea with the tent setup

Shower too low an shower floor rough. We could not stand on those rocks on the floor and the water wasn’t draining well in the shower. The rest was perfect including the braai and fire area. Somebody was building closeby causing the animals to stay away from the camps through some timmering.

We enjoyed interacting with game. Seeing wild animals roaming freely was priceless for me.

I guess without the menu for breakfast, saw us having the same meal till we left. I would advise the host to put something in place on that matter.
