The property located near to beach, you get great view from the cafe above, where you can sit all day, read a book or work. Order beer and food. Bonus: They have excellent party happening in the night. Overall if you are travelling solo, this is the place, you can make new friends, do some activities.

There is nothing negative I felt about the place. The only thing could be getting to destination has a small pathway, which you can manage anyway, as our cab could reach the gate easily.

I stayed at Zostel for 3 nights with my friend and it was our first time at Zostel. We were extremely sceptical about the stay in a dorm. But this was one of the best experiences we had. The property was very accessible, safe and well maintained. The staff and volunteers were very helpful and kind. The food the rooftop cafe at Zostel was amazing and I suggest get your drinks from Mr. Manu who runs the cafe. He made us feel at home. Also do try their prawns fry if you are someone who likes seafood. Summing up we had a great time their and strongly recommend to book your stay.

Comfortable place, vibes and view

I loved the people who work there, the view from the terrace is amazing, at night you can listen the waves and the chirpping of crows. The location is great only 5 minutes to the black beach. I met a lot of interesting people. Zostel is a place where you can socialize, chill or play board games. I highly recommend it.

i loved the stay and the best part is that the hostel is safe for women and the staff is very respectful. awesome food at the cafè and i personally suggest cold coffee.

The property is located near Varkala North Cliff, approximately 3.5km from Varkala Sivagiri Railway Station. I took an auto, which cost 150rs. The property was well-maintained and clean, with ample options for playing games such as table tennis, card games, and ludo. Talking about the Zostel Cafe, they provide very good food at reasonable prices. I tried the masala dosa, veg cheese sandwich, jeera rice, and dal tadka, and it was amazing. I highly recommend it. They also serve mocktails, thick shakes, and fresh juices. We have a DJ night at the property from 8pm to 12am. After that, we have a soul cafe where guests can party and chill. If you are a solo traveler, I would highly recommend this property. I made quite a lot of friends 😀 Private rooms and cottages are also very nice; you can try those as well. Overall, I was highly satisfied with Zostel Varkala.
