Great hotel! We stayed here for 3 nights in a Superior Double Room with Lake View and Balcony for about 1275 euros and we were extremely pleased. The hotel is very central, and the building is beautiful and charming. It’s one of the main buildings in Titisee and it’s very well kept, and the gardens are also beautiful. We pleased to note that parking was easy. They give clear instructions on how to find the parking lot and there are plenty of parking spots, and wide enough. You can also come and go as you want (we left our car parked the whole time, though). The staff is super friendly and between our beginner-level German and some members of the staff who spoke English, there were zero communication problems. Our room was wonderful. Lots of space, nice big wardrobe with many real hangers and clean and spacious bathroom. The view was wonderful and definitely worth it, and the balcony was also nice. The pillows that were there when we arrived were very thin and soft, but after we requested firmer ones, we had 4 wonderful pillows in total. The breakfast buffet was amazing as well. We also had dinner one night at the hotel, and although the prices are a bit steep, the quality is there and the staff, once again, was top notch. We also loved, loved, loved all the flowers at the hotel, especially all the lovely anthuriums at the restaurant and some common areas. The direct access to the lake was what we were mainly looking for and we were not disappointed. Also, the indoor and outdoor swimming pools are wonderful (and the water is not cold! the lake water can be freezing). You can also have a light meal and freshly squeezed fruit juices by the pool, which we really enjoyed. Overall, we had a great time and we are definitely coming back. Highly recommended!

That we had to leave

We stayed at the hotel for 7 days during August, with 4 rooms (Superior Double Room with Lake View and Balcony) for our extended family. The visit was simply amazing. The location, the views, the private dock to the lake, the outdoor and indoor pools, the breakfast, and the hotel restaurant — everything went beyond our expectations. Thank you for the warm hospitality, we would definitely come back.

We were lucky with the weather, but August can be very hot, so air conditioning is missing

There were so many wonderful things about this hotel. First of all its location on the lake and in town is fabulous. Secondly the staff are so courteous and helpful. The receptionists were very helpful in that they spoke English and gave me lots of information. The head waiter ( I believe) had a meal made for me to meet my special diet. Loved the breakfasts. Quite a spread. The outdoor terrace is excellent for relaxing and the view. The spa and pools are exceptional. The indoor pool area is stunning and the outdoor heated pool has the view of the lake. So beautiful. My room was spacious, clean, well maintained, and the bathroom was marble and had the best towels. A heated rack was also beneficial. Lots of closet space. The housekeeper for my room was very diligent and thorough. Now back to the spa, I made reservations for a massage. Qasim gave me my massage and did an excellent job. I also want to give kudos to the piano player who played nightly in the lounge. He is excellent and I really enjoyed spending time there. I look forward to returning one day to this grand hotel that has a foot in the past but is definitely in the here and now.

Wonderful lakeside setting with lovely view across the lake. The breakfast was excellent with varied choice. Friendly staff always on hand to assist. Nice private beach with bathing platform for those who like wild swimming plus both outdoor and indoor pools!

The room was very hot at night as the hotel had opted to exclude air conditioning for enviromental reasons. Opening the balcony windows provided some relief.

Absolutely beautiful location and the attached spa is fantastic with a private beach area and the chance to swim in the lake. The breakfast was amazing with a huge amount of choice. The Hotel was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Kids made great use of the spa!

Tiny gripe. Showers in the rooms are mixer tap showers but I am pushing it!

The view was amazing. Our room had a balcony overlooking the lake. The infinity pool also had a fantastic view. The room was huge - we could have spent the day there. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful, they waited until we were out of the room to clean, helped us with cycling trails and setting up their bikes, very attentive without being suffocating at meal times, reception and the bar.

Facilities were great, nice outdoor pool with a view, access to the lake from private beach large bedroom, evening bar and restaurant staff excellent.

Breakfast was just a free for all, staff were not helpful at seating us and tables reserved for some guests but not us, could do with a greater to show you to your table unlike the young man who looked after us for a evening meal.

Great hotel, perfect location right on this beautiful lake, it's even nicer than the photos. Beautiful spacious room with amazing terrace and views, it was great for our entire group - both for my parents who are looking for more 'fine' experiences, and both for us traveling with kids. A LOT of special experiences just around, Definitely recommended!

Location was stunning! The room was exceptionally clean! The finishes and decor were outstanding! All the food I had at the restaurant was amazing and I had exceptional service at the restaurant. The views were great

No one told me about the amenities at the hotel upon arrival. Apparently, if you only speak English make sure yo ask for the Q card card that if you scan you can see what the hotel offers. My room was 319 and it gave great privacy, but with the fence I really had no view sitting outside on terrace and in my room, unless I was standing. Plus, the bugs were bad, so I didn’t want to leave my door open, but did not see how to turn on AC.
