An excellent hotel in the middle of the Black Forest. A veryv large and clean room with a large balcony. Superb breakfast every day. Great communication with the owner. He was so helpful and friendly. A large car park outside the hotel. The location is ideal for exploring Schwarzwald. So much to see. We stayed for 4 nights but there was enough to do for another week.

Quaint little hotel in the Black Forest, very close to Triberg. Peter, the host, was one of the friendliest and charming person I’ve come across in my travels. The rooms have a very cosy, welcoming feel to them, and the attention the detail is amazing! Very clean and highly recommended !!

Nothing could have been better!!

Surrounded by trees, on a hill, nice view of a mountain. Staff at front super nice and friendly. Breakfast of meats cheeses, cereals. Staff put my meds in their refrigerator for me and ice pack. It was much appreciated as our room didn't have a fridge.

Wish there was AC in room, but with door open room was cool enough. But many hotels don't have AC in Germany. Overall irss more of a hotel for skiers as it is close to skiing area. Needs some updating inside,, but it's ok as it was very clean. The nice staff made everything ok.

The Silence and peace of mind that I had when I stay in this property, very nice hospitality from the Property staff and the management. Very good Breakfast. Ease of accessibility to all near Tourist spots.

Friendly and helpful hosts. (host was not able to be there when we arrived and left us a kind and detailed note about how to get in, our rooms, and even suggestions for where we could go for dinner) Breakfast was fresh with a good variety.

Bed mattresses were not very comfortable (too hard). Bathroom showers were a tight fit.

The staff was very friendly and helpful! There room we were to have the first night was unavailable due to maintenance issues but they provided an adequate substitute and were more than willing to switch us the next day if we had wanted. There are good restaurants in the area within walking distance and our host booked a reservation for us one night.

There were additional charges mentioned on the booking site and for us it ended up being a per person tourist fee. We were told when we checked in but would be nice to know on the site when booking.

The accommodation was in an excellent location, the room was very authentic and clean, the bed was super comfortable. the owner was amazingly kind!! we've been so many places, but we've never met such a helpful and kind service.

The location is peaceful.

Carrying luggage up two flights of stairs outside into the building and inside the building.

Staff are amazing and very welcoming. The gentleman gave us a quick information guide of local restaurants and even made reservations for us. Beds are comfortable and bathroom has all amenities.

Very nice building with cute rooms and balcony! Very peaceful!

A little bit of a walk up a hill. Might be difficult for some. But we enjoyed the location.
