Simple but clean and cozy, and accommodated us well for our purpose, which was an overnight stay near the Ravenna Gorge Christmas market. There's an S-bahn train line just a couple min walk from the hotel which takes you to the shuttle pickup point, although it doesn't run often, so check the times in advance if you're planning to use that. Free parking on site. The room was spacious enough and provided what we needed for a short stay. European style breakfast is included, which is nice.

The bed was not the most comfortable ever, but not too bad. Otherwise the room and furnishings were good.

Nice rooms, friendly staff and great food in the restaurant. The hotel is very handy if you want to take train into Freiburg as the nearest station is only a 2 minute walk away. The trains don't run all night, so you get a good night's sleep

There was no heating in our bathroom

The room was beautifully clean. The location was excellent. The breakfast was delicious. The staff were wonderful.

The staff was very friendly. I had no remote control for the TV on the room but they brought another TV with remote control. Problem solved. A very good breakfast incl. A big room.

It was a bit noisy due to the railway nearby and the terras to take the dinner opposite the room

Very kind staff. Some of them spoke english, so the communication was great, and with the people who only spoke german, we managed to understand each other just fine. The rooms were comfortable, big, and with nice views. The breakfast was great, with enough options for everyone. Two-minutes walk from the train station, and 15 minutes by train from Freiburg. Perfect!

Friendly well priced family run hotel that provides a good start point alternative for visiting the Black Forest to staying in the more expensive nearby Freiburg.

If I new it didn’t have a lift I would not have booked it. My room was on the third floor 40 steps The shower was a little too high for access The toilet had not been flushed by previous occupants

Great location, many nearby restaurants, spacious room, clean, good breakfast. It's was very hot weather but the staff organized a fan which was very much helpful

Shampoo should be provided as well

Old a quirky property but room was very clean and comfortable, staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
