Amazing Stay at Hotel Central Garni We were late in the evening and Mr. Nock made the self check-in process very quick and easy, he sent all the pictures and also reserved a parking for us, which I really appreciated after a long day of travel. The room were spacious, and impeccably clean. We loved the comfortable bed and the nice view from the window. The location is the best, just in the heart of Triberg. Breakfast was also nice.. Overall, my experience at hotel exceeded my expectations. Mr. Nock, at hotel was very humble and nice to all guests. He has a charming way of expressing himself and he kept the place alive during his presence. Thanks! Sahil

Christoph was very understanding when we arrived much later than expected. We had a choice of a room with a balcony or a quieter one which was good. Bathroom was great. Christoph recommended we visit the waterfalls (our late arrival meant we thought we would not do this) and gave us a guest card for free access. We were very glad to see them. Access to the hotel was unusual (lift from a bank lobby), but easy to find once you are there in person and Christoph told us where to park for free in a nearby road (the carpark next to the hotel is a pay carpark).

Pillows weren't very comfortable but everything else was.

I arrived a bit late on my first day and the Hotelier was understanding and enabled easy check-in through the self check-in process. The stay was exceptional, the bathrooms were newly renovated and everything clean. The location of the hotel is perfect and in the center of the city, form where almost all attractions are within 200 m away, except the largest cuckoo clock. The bus stop Marktplatz Triberg is just outside the door. Breakfast menu was limited but had all the essentials. The Hotelier was a witty and energetic person, who also made sure that everything was to our satisfaction! Would love to go back again!

Staying at Hotel Central Garni in Triberg was an absolute delight — easily one of the most memorable and welcoming hotel experiences we’ve ever had, thanks in large part to Christof, the owner, whose genuine hospitality and great sense of humour went above and beyond the usual standard. From the moment we arrived, Christof made us feel truly welcome. He personally greeted us, helped with our bags, and offered excellent local recommendations — including local museums, the Triberg waterfall, and which restaurants to try. His knowledge of the area and thoughtful suggestions made a real difference in how we experienced the town. The room was spotless, quiet, and very comfortable. Hearing the waterfall made for such a restful sleep! Breakfast each morning was a highlight: fresh, plentiful, and served with attention to detail. By the second day, Christof already remembered our coffee preference and had it ready for us — a small gesture that meant a lot. What really made this stay special was the level of personal care. When I mentioned I was traveling by train, Christof helped with our arrival and even offered to store a bag after checkout for a later pickup. Triberg itself is a lovely destination, but our time at Hotel Central Garni — and Christof’s outstanding service — is what made the trip truly unforgettable. I highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting the Black Forest. You’ll be in good hands!

Can’t think of a thing!

Christoph was awesome, very attentive and personable. I had fractured my kneecap earlier in our trip and he did everything possible to make me as comfortable as possible. He recommended places to have a meal and gave my husband and grandson directions to places of interest. The breakfast was beautifully laid out with a large variety of meats, cheeses, fruit and bread as well as several types of juice. Will definitely be returning. Location could not have been any better. Great value for the money spent.

No mini fridge but Christop allowed the use of his for my ice packs for the knee

This charming hotel offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere, the incredibly friendly and helpful owner/manager kindly waited for us well past the official check-in time, something we really appreciated after a long journey. The rooms are spotless, have a nice balcony and the beds are very comfortable with hotel-quality linens. You can tell great care is being taken with the recent redecoration, there’s a clear vision to make the space into a stylish boutique-style retreat. Breakfast had plenty of local cheese, deli meat and fresh bread. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better. Just a short stroll takes you to the beautiful waterfall, as well as to the town centre, cafes, restaurants, and local attractions. This an excellent choice. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it and would happily stay again.

The host was extremely helpful and attentive. We were late to checkin due to the delay in train. Then the host helped to book a taxi for us from the railway station and stayed back to help us with check in. Room was cozy and clean. It was equipped room with all necessary items like fan kettle etc. breakfast was nicely arranged. We got even our 2nd day breakfast packed upon our early checkout after our 2nights stay!!

The hotel was clean, breakfast was excellent, but the service was especially excellent. The owner and operator agreed to a late checkin and stayed after we were stuck in traffic until we could arrive.

Cell phone service was not good in Triberg for us. Though not a hotel issue. We are T-Mobile customers in the States with Deutchtelekom service in Germany. We couldn't find a hotel wifi option but also didn't get a chance to ask about it.

Garage for my motorbike , room was very comfortable. Christophe was an excellent host. Breakfast was good, good location on the main street. Close to all attractions.

Park in a car park opposite if possible whilst booking in, hotel is found on the third floor, access by lift or stairs These are not criticisms , I'm making people aware, none of this deflects that it's a good hotel and has plenty of amenities.

The hotel is located beside everything you need to see in Triberg. The owner, Cristoph is very friendly and helpful, our room was a good size and very clean with a great walk-in shower and balcony overlooking the town. The hotel has ramp acceee and A LIFT, which is very important for us as Helen is a wheelchair user. Breakfast was very good with a great view, we really enjoyed our stay.
