The hotel locates in a very queit area with a very beautiful view to the nature nearby. It's a small boutique hotel with some old but stylish decorations and funitures, very beautiful itself as well, suitable to take some nice pictures inside as well. Breakfast is good although with few options in the buffet. The coffee is really good!!!

No elevator outside or inside, so if you are with a big luggage, you will have to take them through stairs first outside to reach the main door of the hotel and through the stairs inside to reach your room. It can be difficult for elder people, but for me it didn't bother too much.

My initial impression was that the hotel was a bit old-fashioned. However this impression soon became a positive. My room had all the facilities one would expect in a room offered by one of the big chains but it was more homely and comfortable as a result. My impressions of the public side of the hotel was the same. The hotel restaurant was open to non-guests and there was a reasonably choice of food on the menu which many options being traditional local dishes. They also offered a daily menu option which was printed out separately. On my first night, that menu was just in German but on subsequent nights there was an English translation which, being the only non-German guest there, I thought was a nice touch. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to travellers looking for somewhere to stay in this part of the Black Forest

I cannot really think of anything about the hotel or my time in it that I disliked.

The hotel is very cozy, homey, comfortable. Exceptionally polite and friendly staff. Excellent view from the window (small balcony in the room). Easy free parking. We found ourselves in the atmosphere of 40-50 years ago and we really liked it.

The room was cold upon arrival (as usual in Schwarzwald's hotels), which was solved by the additional heater in the room. The breakfast could be more varied (at least some hot dishes).

Very quiet location with an excellent Breakfast. They also have dinner available for purchase with a special meal each night, plus a full menue.

Parking would be limited especially in the summer months. During the winter it is OK as there are less people staying in the hotel.

Very friendly front desk, especially Anna and other ladies. Nice clean comfortable room of very decent size. Free kerbside parking. Nice restaurant and good breakfast. Good countryside location about 6km from Triberg. Overall...excellent value for money.

Beautiful hotel, kind staff, and tasty breakfast (included). The view from our balcony was stunning. Would recommend this hotel!

The room was generally very clean, but I dropped something under the bed and when I went down to look for it, there was a lot of dust and dirt which wasn’t great to see.

Very nice staff After I booked an apartment in the same area for the same price and the heater didn’t work (yes lol that happens in germany now), I moved to this hotel under short notice. It was better than expected as I didn’t want to spend much for my last days in Germany. The food and wine were excellent and inexpensive

The area is too quiet and there isn’t much. Shops are too far away.

The room was large and comfortable and the location we had great food at the restaurant down the road.

It is not that we didn't like it or there was anything wrong with it we would just have preferred white bread at breakfast and the fruit cocktail was finished when we were at breakfast (we went about 15 minutes before it finished)

Staff were amazing, breakfast was good, drinks were brilliant, location was also brilliant for our motorcycle tour of the Black Forest. When we arrived a very large secure garage for our motorcycle was offered and accepted

Nothing all was good

We booked the last room at the last minute on a little road trip. We weren’t expecting much however, we had a beautiful time having a nice bistro attached to the hotel as well. We had the attic room so for tall people the bathroom might be a bit hard to navigate but we managed.
