- What a perfect mattress! I even slept better than my own bed at home. Compliments for that. - The shower has a strong water beam what i enjoyed. Often it happens that the water beam is so weak. Sometimes the water stream is so weak you’d rather fill a bucket and pour it over yourself for more pressure. - I enjoyed the cleanlines and the space in the room.

- The tissuebox in the restroom was empty after pulling out just 2 tissues. A spare tissuebox would be better service. - For environmental reasons i understand to put 1 bath towel in the bathroom. But i don't want to use the same towel for 4 times if i stay for 2 days. I recommend to put a spare towel in the wardrobe.

This Hotel is the best choice in the area (fat least or me, for my business trips). Perfectly clean, well maintained, it is like a new Hotel. I booked this hotel several times (15+) and I have experience in two more hotels in this close area. The reception is kind and helpful, most of the staff at the restaurant too. Especially the two new asian waiter. Their professionalism is exemplary. I keep choose this Hotel in the future, thanks for the kind hospitality!

The gym should be open from 5:30 (now 7am). However I know, the reason is the noise, there would be an advantage to find a solution. No problem if they charge for the sauna. Would be better to use the room card to start the sauna. Instead of calling the staff to turn on. There are some signs of cost saving actions. And no problem! I only have one concerning change. The selection of breakfast wasn’t the strength of this hotel, even before. But now, no more salmon, black olives, dried tomato, capri seed, fresh tomato or any fresh vegetable. However the bakery is exceptional. I would appreciate the improvement.

very comfortable, good breakfast, the parking, big family rooms. Well designed hotel. Perfect view grom the room. The staff is very good.

One of the evenings the top bar was full, the bar near the entrance was empty but the barman send us up, and didnt want to serve ,and sent ud up again. Finally we could buy light drinks. The other barman was more willing to serve.

We booked this hotel last minute and realized we were running a little late. There was a very kind woman at reception who explained how to check in after reception hours. We ended up making it in time for a normal check in, but we appreciated the great communication. The hotel was great - clean, comfy, and nicely located for exploring the Black Forest area.

The glass bathroom door was a little awkward. Looks like there is a rail to hang a curtain, which would have provided more privacy.

The hotel is new and modern, exactly our style. there is not many hotels like that in the area. our room was huge and the kids slept well on the sofa bed. Plus point, the hotel cares about sustainability, soap dispensers are available in the bathroom. no mini soaps etc. which for us is a good point.

Not much I disliked. it was more of an inconvenience. just mentioning so people learn from our mistake. The hotel has a very nice restaurant, probably the only fine dining restaurant in 30km radius. So make sure you book in advance otherwise you won’t get dinner. Locals use this restaurant as a place for celebrating birthdays and other important occasions - given that there is really nothing nice nearby. Next to the hotel there is a decent Italian (no pizza) but also requires booking. One negative thing is tho that the kitchen closes at 9. which is very early. if they opened longer they could do 2 dinner turns instead of one.

Parking was ample and free. Hotel was in a good location for day trips. One of the cleanest hotels I've ever been in. Staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was exceptional and made the stay a great value. The gym was above average for a hotel. I didn't try the dry sauna but it looked very nice as well.

Very modern, large and clean room. Excellent breakfast. Perfect location in the center of the Black Forest area. Easy parking.

The facilities of the hotel are quite good. Also I have to highlight the gym. For a hotel the quality of the gym is quite outstanding if we want to train the upper body. For the legs unfortunately doesn't have that many options.

The hotel room was exactly like what is displayed in the photos. Very cosy, spacious, clean (sparkling actually) and the staff were super nice, helpful and cooperative. The gym was perfect, clean and with all the necessities one needs for training. The breakfast was superb, the bar at night had everything. The location for me was critical and this specific hotel had exactly what I needed since it's close to many routes. Thank you all in hotel Federwerk and keeping on doing a great job!!!!! 5 stars from me

Everything was just perfect

Very friendly staff, good breakfast buffet with plenty of options, spacious room, nice gym & sauna, tastefully decorated, ample parking- free of charge.

Ask for a quiet room at the backside of the building facing the parking lot. Otherwise it will be noisy with traffic passing by and hotel guests having dinner and drinks into the early morning hours. The restaurant and outside tent are right at the entrance, and people celebrated loudly until 3AM. The town didn't have much to offer, the hotel was the nicest place there. No coffee maker in room.
