The hotel is super located. Everything within walking distance. I was positively surprised by the little spa area. Very nicely done under the roof. You'd have to let the staff know that you want to use the sauna. They'll switch it on for you. 30 minutes later you can enjoy it. The rooms are clean and even have a batch tub.

This is not really a complaint but when you enter the hotel it smells too much of artificial air freshener.

Great location in the old town: remarkably quiet, given that. Comfortable room. We appreciated being able to store our bikes in the storage room in the basement. To clarify other reviews, the elevator down to the basement was just a little too narrow to wheel our bikes in. We had to take the bikes down one at a time and stand each one up on its rear wheel. There was a luggage trolley in the foyer in which we were able to stack our bike bags and batteries for a single trip up to the room, which made the process much easier.

This is very nice hotel in the historical centre of Villingen next door to the Franciscan Museum and the tourist information office. We had a large room with a balcony and a spacious bathroom. The room had everything we needed for an overnight stay, including a small refrigerator with free drinks. The staff were very kind to let us in the already cleaned room two hours before the official check-in time. Everything was really excellent and for a very reasonable price. P.S. The rabbits in the lobby are really cute.

I had trouble with the internet, but it can also be the fault of my phone, since on my wife's computer everything worked well. There is a problem with the water-pipes, since both in the sink and in the bathtub the water does not drain well.

Very spacious clean room. Comfy bed. 7-8 minute walk from Villingen train station. Near a lovely market around the Church. I couldn't find Dormero hotel at first and had to ask a few passers by, finally a local knew where it was. You have to go around the corner to find the hotel. Will be good for tourists if the hotel had a sign post on the main pedestrianised road. Loved the 7 x free drinks in the fridge. Thank you very much for a safe and relaxing stay in Villingen.

Hard to find the hotel. The fridge in the room made a humming noise but cut out after a few minutes. I arrived at mid-day but there was no one in Reception. Only the cleaner was there, who helped me to leave my luggage, till Reception staff arrived later that evening. I was expecting someone to be in Reception, at least during the day so that I could've checked in.

Great Central location. Friendly reception staff. Viktor helped us check in. He spoke with a mix of English and German but my partner spoke German so we understood enough. The room was a great size and clean. Cleaning of the rooms was by your choice so convenient for your plans. A few free drinks were left in the mini bar. We found it very strange that there were two rabbits that live in the reception area but,as animal lovers, we had to say hello to Bonnie and Clyde every time we passed them.

No parking available at the hotel so had to use local carparks. Although they were not too far away, it was €10 overnight so expensive for the week. The reception area was only open from 1pm. The drinks and breakfast were expensive although we were given one free breakfast. Apart from the reception staff, no other staff greeted you when entering the hotel, breakfast room etc.

Location is great, in the old town, lots of eateries near by, including a very beautiful cafe!

The hotel is not only close to the pedestrian area, which has many cafes, and restaurants, but is very convenient for walking to all the main sites of interest. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, and we could safely leave our bikes in the cellar area. Our room was spacious and clean, and everything worked. For us the perfect hotel.
