Hotel and its facilities, especially sauna, are great. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was adequate. Room was OK but our basic double room was a bit tiny. Dinner was ok but the serving was quite long. We had to wait for almost 1 hour for our ordered dinner to be served. Maybe it was a busy evening?. Location is a bit off center so a vehicle is definitely required although the hotel provides free bus passes for guests. Recommend this place for a leisure holiday but would recommend a bigger room than basic double.

It’s a family hotel and everone who works there is soo friendly. Our basic room was very nice, we loved the garden and the wellness area, the garden terrace was a beautiful place to stay and dinner and breakfast were super nice. The hotel/restaurant has both and authentic vharm but is still modern. Also nice that breakfast is till 10.00

It would have been nice if the wellness area would have been open in the morning too. A kettle on the room would also have been nice. But these are all small details

We booked a room for just one night and asked for a quiet, non-smoking room... Wrong! the hotel assigned us room #9, please be aware of this room is you have sensible ears, you will hear every single step or conversation from the hallway. After trying to rest in the room, I went to front desk and ask for a different accommodations. The front desk wasn't empathetic at all, he claimed the noise was normal and should come down after 9 or 10 PM. I insisted for a different accommodation and he offered room 52 at an additional cost.

It was absolutely beautiful. Excellent breakfast, pool area small but nice. Staff absolutely lovely! Tastefully decorated! Service top!

Spa was really great although for foreign guests the concept of naked sauna may be a bit of a stretch. Dinner prices à la carte a bit too high. We booked a small room which was sufficient but not recently renovated. A water boiler or coffee maker in the room would have been nice.

Friendly and helpful and perfect location. Please make sure you are here for more than one night, The spa rooms, yes, rooms are diverse and allow for complete healing, relaxation and peace in this hotel. We saw the spa area and couldn’t believe our eyes at the cleanliness, the attention to detail provided to guests. Our biggest regret is that we were only here for one night.

Everything was above and beyond expectations .

The hotel managers and staff deserve a prize. This place is a gem. The hotel is so well kept. They have thought about every single detail so that you have a perfect stay. The room is completly renovated. The bed is very comfortable and wifi works perfectly. The bathroom had such an amazing shower head. I want to get the same for my house. In the bathroom, you will find bathrobes and extra towels for the sauna/pool, which are placed in a basket. Very practical. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. Breakfast is a highlight. They serve freshly squeezed orange juice, a great selection of cheeses, local jams and many other delicious things. The heated pool and sauna are another highligh of this place. We went to the sauna and the pool multiple times. We also enjoyed sunbathing in the external area, which is decorated with very comfortable chaises. We were traveling with our bernese mountain dog and we got a room with a balcony, which was very practical considering the size of our dog. There is a park just outside of the hotel, where you can walk your dog (on the leash). Also important to note that, it was easy to park the car outside and they have a charger for EVs. The place is quiet and the other guests were discret and yet friendly. We look forward to going back.

The grounds were beautiful, sauna and pool were very nice.

No air-conditioning or fans in the room right below the roof. But I got the office fan for our stay, that was nice Bit unfortunate, that the pool and Saunas are not in the same area. But it's ok

The breakfast and dinner were very good. The staff was super nice and gentle. The hotel was a little weird for a non-European. I was amazed by the ironing board in the hallway. Interesting and faszinating concept. I would like to wear one of those exotic gorgeous traditional Schwarzwald hats they have on display.

The breakfast fruit was not very sweet. Everything else was great.

Swimming pool is great for the long journey we had. The room and other hotel area’s are very clean.

There is no bar for a drink, only the restaurant. The sauna is only without bathing suit. Room 1 is above the hotel entrance and kitchen. So you hear and smell everything in the evening and morning. That was not pleasant for the money you pay a night.

Fabulous location, loved the hotel, wonderful experience and would happily stay there again. Great breakfast, beautiful setting.

Please allow us English people to have tea/coffee making facilities. No kettle/fridge. We were told there was hot water for making tea downstairs in the spa, but that didn’t really work for us. When we did go downstairs to look, there was no milk….
