Modern and attractive decor. Room was comfortable and well designed. Good free parking for our motorbike at the front or secure garage option . Reception staff were very helpful and spoke good English .

All bar/ restaurant purchases had to be paid at the time and not on the room. No visible management leading to some of the younger staff being distracted by their phones , not being attentive when drinks empty at dinner , eating their own food at the bar during the evening. The restaurant experience didn’t match the high hotel standards. It is in a very residential area with no real options to drink / eat out.

The hotel rooms are spacious and modern. The breakfast is nice and the location is children friendly. The hotel itself isnt off the highway towards Switzerland so it is conveniently located. Also it is located 20 min from Triberg falls which is the heart of Black forest.

This might be a personal taste but the bathrooms are fully transparent. To give some privacy with children, we had to walk out of the room before the adults could shower.

Luxurious and comfortable, but very much a hotel for couples and not for families. This is reflected further with the hotel's restaurant, which while accommodating for kids has nothing in the way of a children's menu. The facilities in the room are also very much designed for a couple, including the very revealing shower which is hidden by nothing more than a glass door!

While I understand the restaurant clearly does not wanting families as customers, we were certainly not alone, and it's a shame it's not more child friendly.

Very comfortable bed, modern rooms. Quiet. Excellent breakfast, plus dinners on-site. My family and friends in the area go there for dinner it’s so good, reasonably priced, and has varied menu. Easy to walk from Schwenningen (Neckar) local train station (connects to Villingen and Rottweil) for inter-city and longer distance trains. 3 minute walk to city park for walking, running, etc and with outdoor restaurant.

Very friendly personnel - both at the reception and in the restaurant. It seems like people are really trained and/or motivated to be friendly. The atmosphere in the hotel is very relaxing in general. In a 15-min walk from the picturesque Schwenninger Moos. Breakfast was reallly good, although the restaurant in the evening is of good level.

Shower combined with the room, which was less cool when kids are sleeping. Although it was less of a problem than I would expect.

The hotel was beautiful! We had the suite and it was big enough for our family. We were with the four of us. The beds were good, the bad was very nice and the most important was that everything was so clean. And the thing we especially noticed was that the staff was so friendly and so hard working! Everyone made sure we had a good stay. That is why we will definitely come back in the future!

The food at the restaurant was good and we where served quickly.

The restaurant does not have enough space between the tables, and at breakfast, priority was given to guests who had reserved a table or local residents eating breakfast there. This meant that other guests had to share a smaller number of tables, even though there were plenty of vacant ones. The breakfast was nothing out of the ordinary.

Clean large room with great shower and bathroom facilities. Breakfast was great with large variety of items - coffee machine especially good compared to other places. Staff very helpful and location to access roads in black forest was good.

Check in on the whole was made easy (online) but getting into the carpark was not clear and so had to contact staff via phone to get info on how to get into the car park - it was approx 11pm and noone at reception. They sent someone straight away who sorted us out (really good service) - you have to pay the car park fee in advance so you can then get your hotel key card activated with the info and THEN access the car park. This was not made clear in advance otherwise. But it didnt affect the rest of the stay as it was dealt with quickly. Also.. the toilet has a door to it but the sink and shower are in the room, next to the bed. This was fine for us as we were a couple but you may want to check if you are not comfortable with someone seeing you in the shower!

Our room was extremely quiet and comfortably big for the whole family to stay in. the garage under also had plenty of space even though it’s small, seems most wanted to park for free on the street instead of the 6e per day in garage. I’d go there again if nearby and needing an accommodation!

For the dinner, the music was super loud in the eating area. I assume it’s because it’s also a bar, but we are at 8pm so I’d assume the music would stay at a lower level a bit longer still (like until dinner time at 10am or at least until there are no more kids under 10 in the restaurant or so). the food was we enjoyed :)

The best stop over on the way to/from Switzerland. Comfortable rooms, excellent restaurant (better book in advance), excellent staff, quiet, free parking around the hotel.

Bad design of the bathroom. The water from the shower gets into the room and under the floor which swallows and causes the bathroom door to no longer close properly so more water gets under the floor and the damage spirals in time. Not so much a problem for guests yet but a big issue for the management/ owners.
