We stayed at B&B Hotel Villingen-Schwenningen for one night as a stop on our trip to Italy. Initially, we were a bit hesitant due to a previous bad experience with a B&B Hotel in Salzburg, but this hotel exceeded our expectations. The hotel was clean and comfortable, situated in a very calm neighborhood. The city itself is quite peaceful, which suited our purpose perfectly for a restful stopover. A highlight of our stay was the nearby Irish Pub in the park, which served some excellent local food. Additionally, the source of the Danube River is close by and really worth the visit. It was a wonderful and scenic detour on our trip. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of our stay and would recommend B&B Hotel Villingen-Schwenningen for anyone needing a quiet and comfortable place to rest.

Hotel is small but cozy, very clean, environmental friendly, easy check-in because we can do self-check in on the machine. AC in the room. Free parking spot available on the street around the hotel, however you can rent a parking space in their garage, but make sure to book it ahead of time before the check in day. Nice breakfast, not many selection but it's enough and taste good.

No fridge, no kettle

It seems like a newly built hotel, so really clean. Room was spacious for a budget hotel with basic facilities. Bathroom/toilet on the small side but functional. Gentleman at reception was really nice, friendly and helpful. Made us pizzas, which was nice. Bonus with free on street parking.

Couldn't provide extra pillows though the hotel seemed very empty but not a big deal, as I brought my own. The housekeeping knocked and almost entered the room, while we were sleeping 3 times since 8.30 until checkout. There should be no need for housekeeping on a checkout day...this was really annoying, especially when you want to rest after a long drive!!

The location is convenient. There are several excellent restaurants nearby. I had an enjoyable time. Keep in mind to book your breakfast at the time OF booking

New fresh hotel with ergonomic rooms, clean, functional, cosy. Delicious breakfast is definitely worth its reasonable price. Attentive professional stuff offers respectful communication.

Elevator is slow. Maybe you could put a visible sign with directions to the staircase to avoid traffic jam in the morning?

I used it as In-between hotel to skip Stuttgart and be a bit earlier at the Arlbergtunnel the next day. It's a very new hotel, and according to me had very few guests. Really nice rooms. A real nice breakfast. Even thou we seemed to be the only ones taking it.

I found the breakfast hours a bit on the late side. Surely I wanted to be back on my way before the traffic. And be a bit earlier than the bussiest hours at the Arlberg.

When we arrived after 11pm there was nowhere to get a drink and we had been travelling all day , would be good to have a machine to get a drink for late arrivals

It was perfect for what we wanted and needed in this case. Very convenient and easy, staff was friendly and helpful too.

The selection of channels on the TV was only in German. But it would not affect us choosing this place again.
