Beautiful setting. Secluded, pastoral location surrounded by trees and small streams winding through the woods, walking and bike paths going off in multiple directions, pleasant 25 minute walk into the medieval city of Villingen. Weather was cold, so I didn’t use the pool or Wellness facility, but looked very appealing. Family run, very friendly people, front desk manager Michael and dining room hostess/owner spoke English well, which was appreciated; excellent restaurant for dinner; also very nice breakfast buffet.

No meaningful problems at all; I really enjoyed the Property with its natural setting in the trees. If you force me, I guess I would mention the room didn’t have a safe, although the location seemed so secure didn’t worry me; and I don’t love liquid “all-in-one” soaps squeezed from wall mounted plastic dispensers for shampoo and body wash, but those didn’t detract from overall great experience, and I concede separate soaps and shampoo in elegant little bottles and wrappings are bad for environment.

Location and facilities were fantastic. All employees were very helpful and polite. Nothing was too much trouble.

Pillows were a little soft but could double them over for improved comfort

The check in staff were so helpful. Our room with a balcony and upgrade to a/c was perfect. The fresh water pool and spa facilities were amazing and the food in the restaurant was prop the best I’ve ever eaten. Top rate hotel

Excellent hotel. The staff is lovely, the room is vey spacious and modern. Very good breakfast too. The pool area is beautiful. I had a great time at the hotel and highly recommended it!

Breakfast was amazing and plenty of choice for all the family. Hotel is located within a few minutes walk of a very good outdoor public swimming pool/ play area. Great spa facilities at hotel. Good location for exploring.

Absolutely beautiful hotel - clean rooms and a great restaurant. The family that owns the hotel is lovely, they made sure we felt comfortable the entire stay. Our one years old daughter also enjoyed the special attention she gof.

it was very clean and alot of thought goes into preparing each room for your needs. the staff is very friendly and welcoming and helpful. we took our dog and there are many great places to walk him. the breakfast was good.

There wasn’t anything we did not like.
