I had a lovely experience at this hotel, which I believe is family-run—along with the restaurant next door, also owned by the same family. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. When I requested an extra luggage rack, they did their best to find one, but since all rooms were occupied, there weren’t any available. Not a big issue at all. My room came with a spacious balcony, and I could even see my car from it—which was oddly satisfying! Haha. Breakfast was a treat: freshly baked croissants and apple danishes were replenished regularly, and the staff asked how we’d like our eggs prepared as soon as we were seated. We got fried eggs with bacon, served hot and fresh—such a nice touch.

Overall, nothing to complain about—everything was pleasant and well taken care of.

Extremely modern, well thought through design of the room and the whole house. The location is in the heart of Hornberg within walking distance to restaurants, town square and the castle. Parking is available either just a few yards past the hotel (reserved spaces are clearly marked) or behind the hotel. Breakfast was served as a buffet with several different kinds of bread, cold cuts, cheese and some fish. Different cereals, oats and fresh fruit salad with yoghurt, different coffee options and freshly prepared eggs. Everyone was extremely friendly. There were even umbrellas at the front door in case you didn't bring one. I can't recommend that place enough.

The only thing would be a sign directing to the parking spots when first arrive. I found the them kind of accidentally.

The property is located right in the middle of the beautiful and safe town of Hornberg. Our room was very spacious and clean, while the bed was very comfortable. It also included a fantastic view of the surrounding village and hills. The hostesses were very friendly, helpful and efficient. Parking was very secure and located on site. The breakfasts were substantial and included a nice variety of savoury and sweet items, including freshly-cooked eggs to order. There is also a fantastic restaurant next door that is operated by the family. This is an outstanding accommodation that is highly recommended.

Nothing - perfect

We received such a warm welcome and immediately felt at home upon arrival. The room was huge yet it felt cozy. We loved the modern design and little touches (like plants) around that made it feel more homely. The couch was a nice comfortable addition, and our favourite part was the spacious washroom, which had the best Hans Grohe rain shower and shower head. Most importantly, the room was so clean! We highly recommend Hotelmyhome if you are traveling around the area; I would definitely stay here instead of the main Triberg area.

Easy to find. Very modern and finished to a very high spec. Bathroom was excellent, bed very comfortable. Spotless and clinically clean, wonderful. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast, which was included was also excellent. The staff were very patient with me and my German ha!

Tea and coffee facilities lacked milk/cream. This next one is not the hotels fault, but..everywhere shuts around 20:00!!! Oh...Booking.com don't include city taxes in their price..just beware. It's not much, €3 pp a night, but even so.

The hotel’s location is pretty good. The room was very clean and tidy.

There isn’t much to say what we don’t like bcoz we liked our stay here. Just one improvement probably, is availability of the staff during evenings and night times. There is no one at the reception. We wanted extra coffee and sugar sachets for the room and also extra toilet tissue rolls which we couldn’t get when we wanted in the evening time. So was a bit disappointed with that. Otherwise everything else was super awesome.

We had an incredibly spacious room on the top floor which was super handy travelling with a baby. Nice modern bathroom. Petra and the staff were lovely. We appreciated the cooked eggs option at breakfast and the discount vouchers for some of the things we had planned to do in the local area. Great location for us with a car. We had the most delicious dinner at the restaurant next door (Gasthaus zum Tannhäuser). Parking immediately outside the property was handy.

Nothing - all the little things had been thought of! Would 100% recommend and come back.

I liked the new building and furniture. Mostly all other hotels in the area are old. This one really stands out.

There can be some improvements to apply. For example, the room has no trash bin, only in the bathroom. There are no slippers, and it was very uncomfortable to walk barefoot in the room. Also, it can get very hot during the night. The beds are comfortable but the duvet is too heavy and hot for summer weather without a fan.

Location and finding the property was very easy. The hotel was centrally located in the town (made walking around to explore easy), and next door to a very good restaurant. There was also convenient parking behind the hotel, which was big enough to accommodate our rental van. The staff was really friendly upon check in and out. And the breakfast in the morning was fresh, hot, and delicious. The hotel room was large (we booked the family room), and the bathroom was spacious, clean, and great water pressure in the shower.

We were so happy to have chosen Hornberg and Hotelmyhome in particular for our Black Forest exploration. Petra our host was so welcoming and able to give excellent advice on what to see and do. The rooms are modern in decore and very comfortable. We dined next door at the Tannehause which is owned and run by the family who own the hotel. The food was delicious and very typical of the region. The chef even comes around to make sure everyone is happy. We could have stayed longer and would love to come back.
