The location was rural situated on the edge of forest. Very quiet and peaceful. The room was excellent with a balcony overlooking pastureland and hillside. Breakfast was outstanding with lots of choice on a buffet style, but you could also have a hot breakfast as well, made fresh at no extra charge. The restaurant in the evening had a good selection on the menu with dishes of the day. The food was delicious and generous in portions. All the staff were friendly and gave advice on where to go in the area. There were walks close to the hotel through forest and meadows.

Absolutely nothing to not like about this hotel and its staff.

Great location in the heart of the Black Forest, quiet and close to walking trails. It snowed and the views were magical. Excellent food served in the restaurant and good prices. Friendly attentive staff.

The optional fridge was too loud, we switched off at night. Otherwise not a single negative.

very nice location, people are very friendly. breakfast was good with nice regional products. the pool is small but nice. the sunbeds are comfortable although it was quit hot in the sun. some shade would have been welcome.

the shower is very small and the drain got clogged easily, leaving us to shower with our feet in the water. the pool was quite small so it’s just for dipping not for swimming around.

Everything else was perfect, from the delicious food to the outstandingly friendly and forthcoming staff. The location is beautiful.

The facilities are a little outdated but otherwise perfectly functional.

Breakfast had lots of choice and was well-prepared. The room was spacious and very clean. Lovely quiet location, perfect to relax after a long day of travelling and sightseeing.

If there was one thing I would have liked more, then it would have been a bigger size shower. But I guess the layout of the building did not allow this.

Fantastic location in the middle of the Black Forest! This family owned hotel is very cozy and comfortable. Enjoyed relaxing on the balcony and sitting in the sun on the terrace with a drink from the bar. The breakfast is outstanding and all you need to power through the kilometers of hiking trails surrounding the location. We took dinner in the restaurant and were very satisfied with the selection as well as the quality. We definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and hope to return soon.
