Proximity to Yosemite can’t be beat unless in the park. Loved the pool and jacuzzi and surrounding nature - great to have food and little shop on site. Lived that we could cook and had a little kitchenette too. River is beautiful but in late spring too loud to enjoy the patio behind our room - enjoyed time with friends eating out by pool instead.

The bed was not super comfy and the floorboard had staples sticking out that hurt my 4 year old son so we had to put a towel over it.

Lovely room, clean, good bar and restaurant. Location.

I'm sorry to go on about this but there is a "passive aggressive" attitude towards tipping in most U.S. restaurants. Tipping has gone from a nice gesture by customers to staff hovering over you with a piece of paper "suggesting" you tip them 20,22, or 25%, and if you don't you get obvious disappointment. I am considered generous in the U.K. because I always tip good service10%; most people don't tip at all. But in the U.S. I up treated like a lepur when I do this. This restaurant was as guilty as many others. We met an Australian gentleman who was particularly angered by this. Perhaps American employers should pay their staff properly like they do in Europe and Australia. Otherwise this is a terrific place to stay; top notch!

we loved the location with the river running behind the property, the views and sound whilst having our morning coffee was amazing. The location was short drive to Yosemite NP.

our pillows were small and flat, leaving us with sore necks. The towels were old and tattered. the staff were unable to explain the payment correctly, leaving us unsure of when we will be paying for the property. As we are from a different country it was difficult to ensure the correct money was ready for the payment.

We have stayed here many times over the years and it's always been great. Stayed in the deluxe family suite this time since there were 7 of us, and we all enjoyed it.

Beds could have been a bit more comfortable. Bathroom door lock needs to be fixed.

The proximity to the national park is perfect (less than a 10min drive to the entrance) as is the setting (next to a beautiful river). Easy parking, restaurants on site, even a small pool. Value-for-money wise 10/10. The room was decent, good size and clean, comfy soft beds and a small balcony. Had all the amenities for basic cooking.

If possible book a room in the Sequoia building as that's the one on the river front (we didn't stay there which was fine too but this would've been even better). The aircon is quite noisy but there's also a big ceiling fan. All-round not a big issue

The location is absolutely amazing. 5 minutes from Yosemite park entrance and 30 minutes from popular hiking trail starting points e.g. Curry Village. We also enjoyed using the outdoor pool overlooking the beautiful landscape after a long hike. It was useful to have a small kitchen unit and microwave as we chose to cook our own meals throughout our stay

The Wi-Fi is very unreliable, it was difficult to join and would often be very slow and cut in and out. Don’t rely on it during your stay! It would have been useful to have some basic cooking ingredients like oil, salt and pepper as we didn’t want to buy all of these full size for 3 nights of cooking. The ice machines in our block of rooms weren’t working. Rooms and shower were a bit dated but it is all worth it for the amazing location!

The crates here are at high because it is sooo close to the park entrance, the setting by the river is gorgeous and the little store, restaurant, pizza shop and pools/jacuzzis give you every comfort before and after a long day in the park. I’ve stayed here for three visits to Yosemite and love it. This time, the restaurant breakfast buffet was outstanding for value and variety/quality of options. Their dinner has always been terrific. The third floor balcony overlooking the river was the best we’ve had and worth the price. The jacuzzi was right by the river, just wonderful. That was the Rosenud building.

I wish the convenience store carried things like yogurts and healthier cereals. Not much to pick from. The front desk staff are polite but not very friendly and no one thanks you for staying there. Again, they are kind of the only game in town and maybe don’t feel the need to be gracious.

Location was obviously perfect, just outside the park. There is a coin laundry room with a couple of washers/dryers, so that was convinient. The room was spacious, loved the double sided shower. The toaster was broken but once we told the staff about it, they replaced it with a new one within 20mins.

Jacuzzi bleached my swimsuit! I spend about an hour in the outside jacuzzi and it decoloured my swimsuit and destroyed it completely! There was no warning, no sign that this could happen. This was upsetting, there were other locations I was visiting later on during the trip where I needed the swimsuit as well. I told the stuff about it, they said that they are sorry to hear that. Mattress was way to soft and bouncy.

I love loved the location. I couldn't recommend it more. There's not a lot by way of healthy food around but it was tasty and fun. Pizza in a mountain setting after a long day of hiking just hits the spot different. It's super close to EV charging which was so convenient and I loved being near the river and having a room that overlooked it. The king room was spacious enough for my family which included my cat (for a $25 pet deposit fee) and my toddler. We chose this place because it was cat-friendly and it absolutely surpassed all my expectations as a great place to stay when visiting Yosemite. We'd definitely stay here again!

OK the spa bath in the room was a little weird especially as we had a toddler who loved turning on the taps but we were able to temporarily remove the tap handles and thwart his efforts. The fridge had also frozen over and wouldn't close its door properly and thus our things couldn't stay fresh. I was going to ring reception but it was late when I realized the fridge couldn't store our perishables properly but my husband was able to remove all the shelves and remove the freezer burn from the shelves and basically fix the fridge so you're welcome Yosemite View Lodge haha and maybe remove freezer burn and ensure that your mini fridges actually can close their doors?

The location was great, just minutes from park entry. The room was large for a family of 5, 2 Queens and a small kitchen. This allowed us to cook eggs and toast with the fully stocked kitchen and prepare sandwiches for lunch. We have a beautiful view of the river and a huge bathroom. They also had ice right outside our room for the cooler. They have like 4 pools and once located directly outside our room which was a perfect way to relax after a day in the park. We ordered pizza from the restuarant with was decent and I would recommend this hotel.

The rooms were dated, and air conditioning was installed more recently as wall units. It was hot upon arrival due to being off, but did cool down and was fine after that. The bathroom didn't have air but it did have a window and fan.
