Yosemite can’t be beat. One of the most beautiful places in the world.

Main kitchen has been undergoing seismic renovations for a couple of years. When we made reservations a few months before our trip I recall saying that the renovations would be complete prior to our visit. Alas, they weren’t. Completion date now later in 2025. Dining room evening meal was a buffet. Not my standard for fine dining.

Location is excellent. beautiful views from many areas in the hotel - including our room! So tastefully decorated, magnificent design of the hotel/facilities overall - to blend in with the environment. Great to have various food options, and everything we had was delicious. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Due to some maintenance could only use valet parking at the hotel - that was an unexpected cost. we pretty much loved everything else, so glad we decided to stay here for a change.

Being in Yosemite is always a treat. Staying at the Ahwannee is the icing on the cupcake. Such luxury in a very special National Park.

We needed a second blanket and they would not provide it for fear it would be stolen. The mattress on the pullout couch is very thin and you feel every spring. This the request for a second blanket for padding.

Stunning historical hotel that’s a tourist attraction as much as a fully functioning high-end hotel.

The humble, modest rooms are deliberately kept as they would’ve been 50-100 yrs ago, which means they are not at all the standard you would expect in an expensive hotel. Somewhat charming, but ultimately lacking.

The location makes all the expense and travel well worth it. Stunningly beautiful. Majestic. The Awhanee is in the perfect location for adventurous day hikes on so many beautiful nearby trails.

My husband and I are not really fans of buffets. It was the only breakfast, dinner option in the beautiful, historic dining room.

Staff solved every wish! Thank you for attentive help!

We arrived mid week and the staff was waiting to assist us in an arrival in the lateness of the evening! They could not have been more helpful! They arranged a dinner time, and the waitress quickly provided a plant diet and oatmilk! Thank you for their kind help!

Loved the location and ease of access to the trails. The buffet dinner was excellent and the bar had great food too.

Very Nice lodge blending with the surroundings. Took us back in time.

No private parking. Have to pay $35 for valet parking if want to park on premises Low choice for vegetation food.

Unbeatable location, beautiful old hotel with modern amenities and friendly staff.

Main dining hall only option was a buffet, a la carte would have been a nice option.
