Lovely room, clean, good bar and restaurant. Location.

I'm sorry to go on about this but there is a "passive aggressive" attitude towards tipping in most U.S. restaurants. Tipping has gone from a nice gesture by customers to staff hovering over you with a piece of paper "suggesting" you tip them 20,22, or 25%, and if you don't you get obvious disappointment. I am considered generous in the U.K. because I always tip good service10%; most people don't tip at all. But in the U.S. I up treated like a lepur when I do this. This restaurant was as guilty as many others. We met an Australian gentleman who was particularly angered by this. Perhaps American employers should pay their staff properly like they do in Europe and Australia. Otherwise this is a terrific place to stay; top notch!

we loved the location with the river running behind the property, the views and sound whilst having our morning coffee was amazing. The location was short drive to Yosemite NP.

our pillows were small and flat, leaving us with sore necks. The towels were old and tattered. the staff were unable to explain the payment correctly, leaving us unsure of when we will be paying for the property. As we are from a different country it was difficult to ensure the correct money was ready for the payment.

We have stayed here many times over the years and it's always been great. Stayed in the deluxe family suite this time since there were 7 of us, and we all enjoyed it.

Beds could have been a bit more comfortable. Bathroom door lock needs to be fixed.

Everything was added cost. You paid extra for internet, breakfast was close to $30 a person, salad with dinner was extra, laundry cost was more for dark loads than white loads.

Our stay at Yosemite View Lodge was a great experience overall. The room was clean and comfortable. Initially, we were checked into a room with a non-working AC, but the staff handled it promptly and upgraded us to a river view room, which was a pleasant surprise. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub — the perfect way to unwind after a day of hiking.

I do wish there were more dining options available. During our early April stay, only one restaurant was open, and after reading reviews about the mediocre food and high prices, we decided to skip it. Instead, we had to get creative with snacks from the on-site convenience store and a nearby town market. If you're planning a visit, be sure to stock up on food and essentials in advance — it’ll make your stay much easier.

The location of our ADA room after changing it to the second floor made it much more comfortable for us. The view from our room of the river was excellent and we really enjoyed being able to sit out on the patio with a drink and some snacks. The proximity of our lodging to Yosemite was great and made it very easy to enter and exit the park.

We were a bit disappointed with the small refrigerator but the kitchenette was OK even though it would have been much better if it were larger. The restaurant on site was disappointing. The food was overpriced and not very well prepared.

I've stayed here a few times and always love the location. Staff has always been friendly. And the grounds have beautiful views everywhere you look. They have so many pools and spas and sweet little nooks and crannies with chairs, games, and benches. The beds were comfy and the kitchenette is nice to have. It's an older property, but it is not rundown. Honestly it's a great place to stay for a little getaway to Yosemite.

This trip was kind of an off season, so I would have expected better rates than they had. Every day our room had flooding outside our door from washing all the decks making it difficult to keep the room clean. We asked for room service even though we were only staying 2 nights and didn't receive it. The restaurant leaves a lot to desire in the food department, but the drinks were top notch. All of the dinners were served with orange slices on the plate. Ravioli? Steak and potatoes? Never have I ever.....but now I have. Hmm. 🤔 While we didn't need the fitness center because we were there to hike, they do have one. It's minimal and feels like they shoved it into a corner they didn't know what to do with.

The room was great! I had booked a King with balcony. The balcony was right above the Merced river with an amazing view and very soothing sound of water flowing. The room had all the amenities listed on the website. The kitchenette was well stocked. In room spa tub was fun and fully functional. It made our day! Staff was very friendly. On site restaurant had small menu but the food and service was very nice!

We wish the PIzza restaurant was open for lunch. It is currently only open for dinner. The TV remote did not work but we didn't bother to complain since the view from the balcony and the soothing sound of the river was perfect to help us enjoy the time without the need for TV.

I had a great experience...I arrived early and was able to checkin early. The room was much bigger than I thought it would be with a huge soaking tub big enough for two (and small gas fireplace) a little kitchenette with dishes, a separate bathroom with shower and a big window to watch it snow. It was also only about 4 miles from the entrance of Yosemite and 11 miles from Yosemite Valley. Also had a restaurant, various indoor/outdoor swimming pools and was along a beautiful river. And they also had a very nice gift shop that included some food items and an ATM on the premises!

I was overall very happy with my stay! At some point I could hear the people in the room beside mine...not really sure how bad the noise level is in that respect since I only heard them once and don't think there was anyone in the other room beside mine. The breakfast at the restaurant was just OK, (but that could've been because I went at the end of the breakfast hours and they weren't very busy).

King suite with balcony overlooked the river. Since the lodge is right by one of the park entrances, we felt like the hotel was extension of the park. They also have a small convenience store for last-minute purchases. Although I didn't use all the available facilities, there was a large game room equipped with all kinds of board games and other arcade machines, and swimming pool that seem great.

Our first room was on the 3rd floors with a TV that didn't work properly, the fire place needed to be fixed by an on-site journeyman, there was an active sprinkler leak over the balcony furniture. Fortunately they moved us to a room on the 4th floors after we brought it up to the front desk's attention. There are two restaurants onsite: pizza place and a paid breakfast option. The pizza and salads were not great.
