Proximity to Yosemite can’t be beat unless in the park. Loved the pool and jacuzzi and surrounding nature - great to have food and little shop on site. Lived that we could cook and had a little kitchenette too. River is beautiful but in late spring too loud to enjoy the patio behind our room - enjoyed time with friends eating out by pool instead.

The bed was not super comfy and the floorboard had staples sticking out that hurt my 4 year old son so we had to put a towel over it.

I'm sorry to go on about this but there is a "passive aggressive" attitude towards tipping in most U.S. restaurants. Tipping has gone from a nice gesture by customers to staff hovering over you with a piece of paper "suggesting" you tip them 20,22, or 25%, and if you don't you get obvious disappointment. I am considered generous in the U.K. because I always tip good service10%; most people don't tip at all. But in the U.S. I up treated like a lepur when I do this. This restaurant was as guilty as many others. We met an Australian gentleman who was particularly angered by this. Perhaps American employers should pay their staff properly like they do in Europe and Australia. Otherwise this is a terrific place to stay; top notch!

We have stayed here many times over the years and it's always been great. Stayed in the deluxe family suite this time since there were 7 of us, and we all enjoyed it.

Beds could have been a bit more comfortable. Bathroom door lock needs to be fixed.

we loved the location with the river running behind the property, the views and sound whilst having our morning coffee was amazing. The location was short drive to Yosemite NP.

our pillows were small and flat, leaving us with sore necks. The towels were old and tattered. the staff were unable to explain the payment correctly, leaving us unsure of when we will be paying for the property. As we are from a different country it was difficult to ensure the correct money was ready for the payment.

Location, location, location! A quick and stunning drive into the park, petrol station nearby was a bonus. The hotel had great facilities to relax after a day exploring, multiple pools and jacuzzi's, a massive games room with games equipment plus side lounges with tv and board games. Great pizza place on site plus another restaurant we didn't visit. The room also has a small kitchen to make your own food. Top tip, take sandwich bags and supplies to make picnics for in the park. Onsite shop does sell a decent amount of stuff but no salad and it's understandably pricey.

Some games were broken and our room smelled a little musty when we arrived - it aired out pretty quickly though when we opened the balcony door.

Nice down to earth place. Lovely lounge near reception. Well stocked shop. Nice pools. Very close to entrance to Yosemite National Park. Its sister hotel Cedar Lodge is nice and worth a visit just five mins drive down the road: Has a lovely pool and bar/grill which we ate at one night.

Choice of meals very limited. Pizzas were amazing but I don't want to eat them every night! The breakfast we paid extra for one morning was average. The evening meal in the same breakfast room was much better with more choice eg steak, pasta etc. You can’t drink alcohol in the lounge but you can at the two restaurants. Couldn’t get jacuzzi to work properly by the pool when I tried.

The proximity to the national park is perfect (less than a 10min drive to the entrance) as is the setting (next to a beautiful river). Easy parking, restaurants on site, even a small pool. Value-for-money wise 10/10. The room was decent, good size and clean, comfy soft beds and a small balcony. Had all the amenities for basic cooking.

If possible book a room in the Sequoia building as that's the one on the river front (we didn't stay there which was fine too but this would've been even better). The aircon is quite noisy but there's also a big ceiling fan. All-round not a big issue

The location is absolutely amazing. 5 minutes from Yosemite park entrance and 30 minutes from popular hiking trail starting points e.g. Curry Village. We also enjoyed using the outdoor pool overlooking the beautiful landscape after a long hike. It was useful to have a small kitchen unit and microwave as we chose to cook our own meals throughout our stay

The Wi-Fi is very unreliable, it was difficult to join and would often be very slow and cut in and out. Don’t rely on it during your stay! It would have been useful to have some basic cooking ingredients like oil, salt and pepper as we didn’t want to buy all of these full size for 3 nights of cooking. The ice machines in our block of rooms weren’t working. Rooms and shower were a bit dated but it is all worth it for the amazing location!

Great location and friendly staff. The lodge is very convenient for exploring Yosemite and reflects the classic national park style, which adds to its charm. While the rooms and overall comfort could use a bit of an update, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and the room was clean. There’s also plenty of parking nearby, which is a big plus. Overall, a good stay if you appreciate the authentic park experience.

The rooms are a bit dated, but that’s part of the rustic charm and typical of lodges in national parks like Yosemite. It didn’t detract from the experience and actually fits the setting.

The crates here are at high because it is sooo close to the park entrance, the setting by the river is gorgeous and the little store, restaurant, pizza shop and pools/jacuzzis give you every comfort before and after a long day in the park. I’ve stayed here for three visits to Yosemite and love it. This time, the restaurant breakfast buffet was outstanding for value and variety/quality of options. Their dinner has always been terrific. The third floor balcony overlooking the river was the best we’ve had and worth the price. The jacuzzi was right by the river, just wonderful. That was the Rosenud building.

I wish the convenience store carried things like yogurts and healthier cereals. Not much to pick from. The front desk staff are polite but not very friendly and no one thanks you for staying there. Again, they are kind of the only game in town and maybe don’t feel the need to be gracious.
