Hotel location and activities during end of the year were great. Room is very clean with new carpet. Concierge staff and service was great. Good options for dinner.

Game room was deteriored and missing games. Front desk staff could be happier and more customer friendly.

It is a great location, near the national park and have some really nice activities to do

I feel the pool wasn't as clean as it could be and the Jacuzzis didn't work that well and weren't as hot as they should be

Loved the location because it is right outside of the Yosemite gate by the Mariposa grove. It's a little drive into town but there's still that option.

I did not enjoy the food at Jackelopes. We had 3 burgers and they were overpriced and sad when they got to us. They don't come with any of the fixings (lettuce,tomato, onion). My bacon mushroom burger had to little Half pieces of bacon and a few mushrooms in the middle of the bun under the patty. It was not worth it.

Room had enough space for a family with 2 adults and 2 little children. Good food. Free nightly smores kits for the family. Good location just a few minute from from the Yosemite gate.

Our room was never cleaned or refreshed. We specifically told the housekeeping staff when we left after our 2nd night. We returned at night to no towels, no toilet paper, and needing a change of sheets on a bed for which we left a note. Trash was not emptied. We had to call 2 times as we realized what we needed. We had to collect our own trash (we have 2 little ones so we had a lot after 2 days). We changed the sheets on the bed ourselves. The runner they sent was speedy and happily brought what we needed in 2 trips.

Room was nice, clean and well equipped. Beds were comfortable. I appreciated the possibility to store luggage at the front desk during the day. Free self-laundry (you have to pay only for detergent). Many extra services (ice ring, swimming pool, bonfire, snow shoes rental). Small grocery store right in the hallway.

Really loud heating. Not enough ceiling lights in the rooms, you have to turn on 4 table lamps.

Tenaya Lodge exceeded our expectations in every way! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and top-notch service. The lodge’s ambiance perfectly blends luxury with a cozy mountain retreat feel. Our room was spacious and had all the modern amenities we could ask for. The resort facilities, including the spa, indoor pool, games room and multiple dining options, made our stay even more enjoyable. The location just outside Yosemite’s south entrance was very convenient, allowing us easy access to the park (and the whole Mariposa Grove area) while providing a peaceful retreat at the end of the day. We highly recommend Tenaya Lodge for those seeking comfort, relaxation, and an excellent Yosemite getaway!

We didn't have breakfast or lunch at this place but we had a take out pizza one night which was nice and had dinner in their restaurant another night which was OK. like a lot of people say it is a bit expensive for what it is and I would say the food was mediocre. The lady who served us was first. For that matter, we both felt all the staff at this hotel were some of the best we had on our two week trip to California. Nothing was too much. thank you all.

Just two things! Personally I thought the alarm thing on the children's climbing frame was annoying but not to the point of complaining about it. A bit like the mother in law, you just put up with it. The second thing was the balcony balustrade outside our room felt unsafe to me but I'm no structural engineer, it's just my opinion.

Location in fish camp is nice. Smores and activities - especially paid activities like star gazing and private Yosemite tour were wonderful. Great explorers lounge for cabins, and breakfast so convenient and nice.

Needs maintenance and closer attention in the cabins. Pool and jacuzzi area also needs attention - clean out bugs, water was not clean looking. Trashcans were piling up and not cleared out quickly enough. Room ran out of body wash. Some wear and tear needing attention (light bulbs out, fan noise, broken phone, flashlights out of batteries). The Jackalopes restaurant for late lunch had the strangest vibe and poor service. Management kind and willing to listen and work to make things better, which is very nice.

Everything about this resort is exceptional. The staff is friendly on arrival and throughout the visit. The food options are very good and convenient, since you are pretty far from a downtown area. The Explorer cabins offer privacy, solitude and free breakfast at the activity center. It is a short ride to the South entrance of Yosemite, which is terrific. We spent only a bit of time at the actual resort (wish I had more time) but the outdoor and indoor pools are very nice, there are activities like cornhole if you want to play on the lawn and they offer a convenient and free laundry service onsite, right near the outdoor pool. Overall I loved this experience.

The only thing I could possibly 'critique' Tenaya for is I thought the prices at Jackalope were a bit higher than I would've expected. We purchased a pair of chicken quesadillas, a Cobb salad and an order of chicken tenders and it was $130. That seemed quite high, even though the food was very, very good.

Our family loved Tenaya Lodge! It is a beautiful resort tucked away in one of the most beautiful areas of the country. It is a very relaxing setting, but there are many things to do if you choose. We did not realize that so much was included with the room. We panned for gold, and enjoyed archery, the game room, corn hole, the outdoor pool, hot tub, firepits and the free s’mores ingredients! We also liked the flavored water and snack station! We could have ridden bikes for no additional charge as well, but we simply did not have enough time. We were on a 2 week road trip, so we really appreciated that there was no charge for the washers or dryers in the laundry room. The location is only 2 miles from the south entrance of Yosemite which was really convenient. We are from East Tennessee, but if we ever have the opportunity to go back to Yosemite, we would definitely stay here again!

The restaurant/grill was very expensive, but the food was good. The room was pricey too, but it was spacious and comfortable. There are no microwaves in the rooms, and none on property for hotel guests. This limited our food options in the room.
