Location is incredible, close to the town of Oakhurst (10min drive) with plenty of restaurants and grocery stores and roughly an hour and a half drive to Yosemite valley. However, it's still super quiet and you can enjoy some spectacular stargazing in the evening. The innkeepers are on the property and they are just the most helpful and kind people. Anything you need, they are immediately ready to assist. The cottage is quite big and comfy with some charming furniture pieces.

The kitchen could be cleaner, we had to clean the fridge because it still had crumbs and greasy specks from previous guests. The cottages are a bit worn down. With some investment in their upkeep this could easily be a 10.

Very Beautiful with all the amenities you need for an enjoyable stay away from home. Unlike a hotel you are away from anyone else. Property is quiet and secluded. About an hour out of Yosemite (depending on drive and traffic) we were able to make it to the entrance in 40 minutes. Great location to also catch the sugar pine railroad steam train about 20 minutes away.

No complaints, the only caution is the water isn’t great tasting so plan on bringing drinking water.

The cottage was as shown in the pictures and it was very nice to have a standalone structure with a full kitchen, bathroom, bed and living room, and patio in front. The property is close enough to town to shop for supplies if needed, but remote enough to be very peaceful and relaxing.

It’s relatively close to •an• entrance to Yosemite, but around 90 minutes from the main entrance and visitor center. Granted, many lodging options are far outside the park, but the travel time is something to consider.

We loved our cottage! It was absolutely adorable and clean and comfortable with every amenity of home! Loved the bed, so comfy we slept like babies. The location was a little off the beaten path which we loved! We felt truly immersed in the experience of the Cali countryside and it was so peaceful. The caretakers were awesome and so kind and personable and are on site in case we needed anything. Would definitely stay there again!

homestead what a place to stay , i would rate 10/10 we stayed in stagecoach building on arrival your welcomed with the oak beams and massive wooden sliegh bell bed , and huge fire place with large gas fire this building is well equipped dining area and if you want to cook kitchen area fridge , cooker, micro , coffee machine, bathroom has great powerfull shower , homestead staff very friendly and helpful, wish had stayed longer here and loved this place

The welcome was great - and everything was in order and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and wifi, shower, AC were all great. Free coffee provided but was a bit weak - maybe user error!! We were quite close to Oakhurst and a good steak house was recommended. A bit far from Yosemite but no real issue with that. Overall very happy with the stay and would highly recommend.

Sorry I didn't pay the balance of the bill. I hadn't realised through all the activities we were doing but Booking.Com collected it so we are all sorted......

Gary one if the property managers, really made it a great experience. He helped us with all of our questions about going to Yosemite and was alwasy there for us if we needed anything.

Check in is at 4 and you cant get in any earlier, for the most part...since we arrived at 230 after 8 hour flights this was dissapointing. I think the owners should work a little harder at this, We were the onlyones who arrived at that time.

We stayed in Stagecoach Cottage for 3 nights and wished we had time to stay longer. It was exceptionally clean and well equipped, even had a fridge/freezer and a comfortable bed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The cottage had its own garden area around it and driveway I would highly recommend staying here.

Pleasant place where to rest and stay. The cottage is quite near services (supermarket, pharmacy, laundry…), even if it is surrounded by nature and silence. We chose to stay there after visiting Yosemite park and leave then for other parks. The owner was pretty kind and always helpful with us. Easy to reach by car. There is the possibility to cook or prepare dishes. Coffee and water provided by the owner. The cottage was nice, the furniture was in very good conditions. Very comfortable bed, and sofa.

Beautiful cottages in a fabulous location. The hosts were exceptional, they were always available to offer advice and helpful tips. Gary and Rachel went above and beyond to make us feel at home and welcome. They even had a card and gift waiting for us upon our arrival as it was part of our honeymoon trip. The cottages were large, spacious, very comfortable and immaculately clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend!
