Great location (about 14 miles AKA 25 min from the southern entrance to Yosemite), free breakfast, comfy bed, working TV, easy access to car in parking lot (free parking, Raley’s (grocery store), gas, Starbucks, and restaurants also very close by! The bathroom was clean and the shower had great water pressure.

I was traveling alone (25 y/o female) and due to poor research, I didn’t realize the door to the room opened directly to the parking lot. I saw “lodge” and “hotel” and assumed it had an indoor hallway so I was very taken aback when I arrived. That being said, I had no reason to feel unsafe as everyone staying there seemed like they were just in the area to visit Yosemite. All in all, I was definitely a little nervous staying there alone as a female but I think that might’ve been my own anxiety and it wasn’t the lodge’s fault. Also, not a huge deal but the WiFi didn’t work (I called the front twice but then gave up).

The overriding positive about this property is the staff and their desire to make our stay positive. The property is older but clean and comfortable. We spent most of our time in Yosemite so didn’t need a fancier property. I didn’t see the in room hair dryer and the staff quickly brought me one to borrow. Also, we had trouble operating the TV and a staff member quckly came to our room to help.

It appeared that the owners are working to update and improve the property and I expect they have already adjusted the door to the room we stayed in so that it opens and closes more easily.

Convenient location 1 hour away from the south entrance of Yosemite National Park. Big supermarket and lots of restaurants nearby. We recommend El Cid Mexican Cuisine. It was great! The hotel receptionist (I didn’t get her name) gave us advice about driving in the snow as we didn’t have snow chains and a severe weather advisory for snow was issued. Luckily we could still go to Yosemite without any problems. A simple daily breakfast was provided and this was not mentioned in the hotel description. It was a pleasant surprise.

More hangers could be provided as there was only one in the room but this is really not a big issue.

This was just what we were looking for. We needed a nice, quiet, clean, comfortable, and affordable place to stay when we went to visit family in Coarsegold. The lodge is in Oakhurst but just a short drive to Coarsegold. The staff was super nice and understanding. We arrived to check in at around 11:30 pm because we were coming from Orange County. I called to let them know we were going to be late and they made sure someone would be at the desk to check us in. The next morning breakfast was available in the lobby. Honestly, the coffee was so good. Another plus, was that the bathroom had full size bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap available. I will definitely book here again next time we visit family again.

The only down side, which wasn't even that big of a deal, was that the TV didn't work.

Very clean attractive room - i liked the high, beamed ceiling. Had everything i needed - microwave ,coffee maker, fridge. Close walking distance to a variety of restaurants. Lovely young lady at the front desk was delightful - friendly, professional, efficient and personable.

Minor things that weren't a deal breaker. The overhead fan wouldn't turn off unless I turned off the light and I wish there were sheer curtains under the blackout curtains so that I could let light in in the morning but not feel exposed to the parking lot

This hotel completely exceeded our expectations. For the price we expected it to be basic, however it was one of the nicest rooms we stayed in on our entire trip. It was a clean, large, updated room. The hotel itself didn't have many amenities and I believe the pool was closed (however we didn't investigate). The breakfast was average but still good. Overall great experience, would highly recommend for the price.

The breakfast was a little bit boring (no meat or hot food other than the make your own waffles), but it was still good. It is on a busy street but noise wasn't an issue.

After a long day at Yosemite, it was ideal to stay close to the park. We arrived late, and they recommended a nice Indian restaurant nearby where we enjoyed our dinner. The next day, we had the option to have our breakfast on the veranda. The room was spacious, with all the necessary amenities, 2 armchairs outdoors in front of the room to relax and free parking. Nice and gentle staff.

Centrally located, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom is large and very clean. And I appreciated the free breakfast before we left for the day.

The property is large but the grounds need landscaping and TLC. Lots of dead grass and dry weeds behind the motel.

Reception staff was very helpful and friendly, gave us an advice on how to make the most of our visit. Nice and comfy beds, room looked clean at first glance. Breakfast was good, the pool was warm and refreshing after a long day in Yosemite. Will definitely come back when in the area. The lady was able to add a night so we could explore more. Huge thumbs up.

Please change pillow cases every time, also a clean to the carpet every certain time will add a plus to the stay. Other than that everyrhing was great.

Excellent staff!! Everyone was friendly and accommodating. Motel is centrally located in Oakhurst making it convenient to find anything we needed. Property was clean, room was clean. Great area for dogs. Great price.

Room had a few things needing minor repairs (toilet leaked on floor; bathroom sink faucet was siliconed but loose and wobbled). We brought 2 service dogs and there were quite a few goat head stickers so we had to be careful.
