Room: Sizable balcony with forest view. Bathroom: Large rain shower with aromatic amenities. Bedroom: Comfortable with nice design Facility: S'mores 6 - 8pm are a fun way to meet other guests. Spa: Skillful staff and a wide range of services and amenities. Nice $65 day package with massage included. Restaurants: indoor/outdoor seating with a large wine list and tasty food menu. Pool: Gorgeous, warm enough, towels right there. General store: Lots of coffee options and generous hours. Elevators within buildings. Location: only one mile from the park entrance.

A lot of steps for my husband given the altitude. Pool is maybe too large for lap swimming given the altitude.

We love the whole site, the pool & hot tub, the complimentary s'mores, the games room. Our room was very big and perfect for a family of four. The bathroom was also big, modern with great amenities.

We were disappointed by the bed linen, just a sheet and a light blanket: not very modern and too little for the beginning of January. We expected at least a duvet for this season. There was only one extra blanket so one missing as we used the sofa bed for the kids.

We stayed here recently for our wedding in Yosemite, we were travelling with our three year old son so wanted a family friendly stay and weren’t disappointed. The play areas, heated pool and daily activities entertained him for hours. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. Especially Johnny on the front desk. The location is amazing. So close to Yosemite gates, if you leave early enough in the morning to beat the crowds like we did, it took no time at all. Our room was lovely and clean, and really big! We had a room with a balcony on the back of the building, so we had a beautiful view of the forest. They also let me use the bridal suite to get ready in the morning of our wedding, which was really helpful. The evening smores were also great. We’re British and also really appreciated an actual kettle in the room to make tea. There was also a fridge and coffee machine. And shared microwave downstairs in the laundry room. Honestly I was so upset to leave and move onto our next hotel for our honeymoon, and wish we could have afforded to stay for longer.

The cost of the booking itself was very expensive, however if you compare it to other hotels in the area that are inside the park, it’s cheaper than those and much nicer. Food and drink was quite pricey and items in the shop were fairly pricey too. My only disappointment was that I had hoped to use the spa facilities the day before our wedding, but I didn’t realise this was an extra cost, I had assumed as a guest the use of the facility would be included in the stay. (Obviously I understand treatments would be charged, but I had hoped to at least go into the spa)

Activity pick up on site, warm pool water, restaurant on site, barista in general store, Hiking trails nearby, friendly and helpful staff. If you have kids, lots of activities for them including a playground and zip line and evening s’mores. There is a mini fridge in the room that is real convenient.

Did not like the bed, each rooms AC/heater is outside their room and it can be noisy when unit is on. You can hear others’ units when your sliding door is open, the top inside of my ice bucket was dirty and so I didn’t use, I didn’t care for the spa (service or staff). In the future, I wouldn’t spend time or money there. There was a musty smell around the mini fridge- perhaps there is a leak in the bottom or back of it.

The property is about 40mins to most Yosemite iconic sites. Kids are thrilled about the game room and the outdoor zipline which we used on our first night when it was too snowy and slippery to drive to the park. The pools looked very inviting, though we didn’t try it when we were there. The staff were all helpful and friendly. Shout out to Hunter the assistant manager and the nice ladies in the general store who were very accommodating and made us feel welcomed. There were also some short trails by the lodge if you want to enjoy serenity close by. Overall a wonderful stay. We have recommended the lodge to our families and friends who are planning to go to Yosemite.

The restaurant food was not the best, not a lot of selections. We also asked for our room to be cleaned on the 3rd day but was not cleaned as I expected. Beds were made and towels were changed but tables and counters were not wiped, coffee and teas were not refilled and carpets were left as it is.

Everything is clean and beautiful and there’s so much to do, especially if you are kid but even for adult adults it was a very lively and beautiful atmosphere. If you’re not familiar with Yosemite, you need to know that even though Rush Creek is close to the official entrance of Yosemite, it is still 45 minutes from the valley floor where all the activity and beautiful mountain /waterfall views are. (although you can get amazing viewpoints on the drive into the park)

I didn’t like that I didn’t read the small print close enough on booking that you have 24 hours to change your mind once you book your stay. I thought there was 24 hours before you show up to cancel and my friend got a bad nighttime cough, and we tried to cancel but couldn’t so we went anyway -we still had a good time. Didn’t want to lose the money.

We were delighted with this place! The two bedroom villa with balcony suited our fam of four perfectly. Only one bathroom but we managed with our two teenage girls. Balcony with two rocking chairs getting the late afternoon sun after a beautiful long day hiking at the Park was idyllic, the pool, the hot tubs, roasting marshmallows and the smore kits they provide at the fire pits, great drinks at the bar, comfortable and relaxed and generous atmosphere - there are games and books for kids and grownups in the rooms, no tvs and good WiFi which is essential as there is very poor or no phone reception- comfortable beds, spacious, in mid-April it’s got a fair number of families but apparently still pretty calm compared to high season in summer - so there is a nice friendly community feeling but also plenty of privacy - we don’t want to leave!

Property is fantastic with tons of things to do for kids and adults. Has a lovely spa and 24 hours heated pool/hot tubs. Several hiking trails on the property. Staff very helpful and responsive. Kids loved the game room, rock wall and the free smores daily. they were able to run around on their own as property is very safe. rooms were very spacious. Close to Yosemite entrance

one restaurant on site, food was ok for the price. we had a large party and a lot of the breakfast came out cold. however little grocery store had good coffee and sandwiches.

Rooms better than the pictures - newer and cleaner than expected. We had a room with balcony facing pool. The spa was amazing (steam/ sauna/ different hot and cold pools/ weighted neck pillows). Amazing location - right by Yosemite west entrance. Drive in every morning was beautiful - less of a hassle than I thought it might be vs staying inside park. Nice to have the pool to come back and relax in in the afternoon.

Food was fine but not exceptional like everything else at the property - sometimes really good, sometimes average (eg Texan bbq great, Mexican bbq felt like cheap bought meat/ packaged guacamole). Paying extra for the spa - think 1 hour free per person would have been nice.

The facilities are incredible. The heated pool and Jacuzzis are open 24hr. The games room is a nice way to spend an evening. The common room and fireplace are cosy. The highlight were the walking trails which are maintained by the hotel. we had a lovely sunny morning walk through the snow before leaving (would recommend). the Staff are friendly and the rooms are clean and spacious. We didn't go in the spa but it looked amazing. It is only 5 minute drive to the park entrance. So a perfect location to spend a night before heading into the valley.

The restaurant was slightly overpriced, but that is perhaps to be expected. We paid for a room with a mountain view but didn't get one. I did not realise this at the time, so do not know whether this could have been accommodated if i'd raised it with the check-in team.
