The owners are so kind and take great care with all the small details. Bringing fresh fruit grown in their vegetable garden. We loved having strawberry bananas and passionfruit with our breakfast. Lovely roof-top with a hammock to watch the sunset, sunrise and stars. Nice kitchen to cook and view to eat. Best to have a car - and even though we didn’t - we felt so lucky to have all the help and advice from our lovely hosts. We loved our stay!

Loved everything! Maybe the mattress was a little hard - but room was clean and comfortable.

The owners are the nicest people ever, they helped us with car rental issues, with booking programs, recommended nice places to visit and suggested the best local restaurant, called Hama! The place is wonderful, brand new, super clean, perfectly equipped, comfy beds, nice kitchen and an awesome rooftop terrace. You need a car in Ishigaki anyways, so the location with car is perfect, away from the touristy city in a quiet lovely area, few minutes drive from Kabira bay and the secluded beaches! A well maintained garden with patio, sea shell decorations and a passion fruit tree:) Absolutely recommend the place!

Everything is perfect, really!

Tomomisan and Sanggyunsan are an incredibly friendly and caring couple. We had a really nice time, you can do a lot of different things and easily spend several days at this exceptional place. You can do hiking, snorkeling, star watching, boat cruises or just having a good time at the accommodation, in the garden or at the roof-top. There is a fully equipped kitchen and everything you need. Our hosts showed us many places and we enjoyed their unobtrusive, smart, but warm-hearted company a lot. Thank you:)!

A lovely, very well set-up guesthouse with roof terrace and garden. Lovely views and close to places to visit whilst being in a village in beautiful countryside. Close to main areas of Kabira Bay and its restaurants, good to access any part of Ishigaki including the North and the town further down the island. Very comfortable beds. Well set-up kitchen which was great to use for snacks and some self-catering, also bathrooms and laundry excellent. My hosts are lovely people who showed me local beaches and food delicacies, along with being extremely kind and welcoming. A really nice place and stay, I hope I can come back!

No negative things, it was great.

The accommodation was really nice. Everything was perfectly clean. The kitchen is fully equipped and has everything you need. The place felt like a second home. The highlight was definitely the super friendly owners who were happy to help with anything. It was by far the best accommodation we’ve had during our stay in Japan. It made our time in Ishigaki even more special. Thank you for the amazing hospitality!

Tomomi & Sanggyun are so kind and helpful as hosts. We had the chance to visit the most beautiful Ishigaki places with them (including fireflies by night in the wild forest, such an experience) as well as eating food specialties. The place is so lovely and quiet with an amazing view of the sea. The location is perfect to visit Ishigaki Island. So bad that we can't give more than 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Everything... Literally I mean it. Everything was perfect: - the place - the view - the facilities (traditional, loved my dinner outside on the terrasse on the coffee table japandi style with a glass of wine or banana sake :D) - the confort And especially the owners that are very kind, welcoming and make us feel at home :) Thank you very much, I will come back :)

Staying at Soyotabi was amazing. The room and shared spaces were very clean and in a good standard. The have really nice outdoor areas where you can relax and watch the beautiful nature of Ishigaki. If you have a car, the location is very good with a lot of beaches and things to do a short drive away. The owners were lovely and welcoming and made our stay at Ishigaki much better.

super cute and cozy place with a great host who were attentive through and through. The place makes you you feel like home and it is super clean! being rather off road it provides a quiet sanctuary to relax yet not too far away from anywhere you want to go! would definitely come back.

Great location (short drives to the best beaches in Ishigaki). The guest house is very clean and comfortable with great attention to details. But most of all, the owner couple is very kind and gave us useful local information and shared home grown fruits with us.
