The Manager, Aun, and his entire family are the most hospitable people you'll ever meet, always ready to assist with whatever request you have. Breakfast was small, but more than adequate with eggs, toast, sausages, fresh fruit, fruit juice and freshly brewed coffee! The room was very clean, spacious and overlooking a small, green courtyard where you can sit and have a beer or cooldrink from the minibar, which has excellent prices. Bed was comfortable with excellent linen and pillows. AC works great and there is also a fan. No room safe bit this location is super safe as is. Great location, close walk to pier and 711 and some shops and the local market. Or you could rent a scooter directly from the property to explore all the lovely areas on this little Island!

Nothing, everything was superb!!

The guesthouse is a short walk away from the main market square and Na Baan pier where passengers disembark from Pattaya, and the rooms are functional yet very cosy and well furnished. The hosts are extremely welcoming and go out of their way to make your stay on Koh Larn as straightforward as possible. They also do a fantastic complimentary breakfast which was greatly appreciated. We very much enjoyed our stay at Samanta by the Sea and would highly recommend any travellers staying on Koh Larn to book here!

We really enjoyed our stay at Samanta by the Sea. The room was spacious and comfortable, and we woke up every day to a delicious breakfast. The staff were very friendly and kind. When my friend had to visit the hospital, they gave us a lift there, even though it was after 23h! We are very grateful for their hospitality. The location is very conveniently close to Na Baan pier, the local night market, many good restaurants and cafes, and the hospital. We walked everywhere without a problem and really enjoyed our time here. We cannot wait to be back!

First, I want to mention that I didn’t stay in this property as when I arrived there, there was no power in this area as well a major part of the island. I had the possibility to drop my bag and to rent one of their motorbikes which is a good deal as the price includes a full tank of fuel. After a yummy lunch outside in a local sea food restaurant (without power) I came back to the property to check-in but still no power and despite the lady told me that it will come back to normal soon but not able to confirm when and as it was a very short stay (inly one night), I did prefer to go back to the mainland. I did spoke over the phone who seems to be the owner who understood the situation and I just paid for the rent of the motorcycle. It seems to be a lovely, cute, comfy, green little place. Wish I can stay but with no power which means no water too as it is connected and as it was a short trip. Thank you for their hospitality and definitely recommend it based on this unusual experience.

Staff is very helpful and accommodating. Motorbike for rent is avialable. location is quiet and perfect walking distance from Ban Hai pier. Close to restaurant, 7eleven and the night food market near the temple with cheap local food and sea foods. There is a small alley leading to the beach with picture perfect view of sunrise. Unlimited coffee and instant noodle free of charge. Breakfast was sumptous and amazing!!! Bed is so comfy. Room is big.

Our hosts were amazing, from start to finish the nicest people we have met on our travels so far. Wonderful location, central to the island with option to book a scooter. The rooms are spacious, clean, well air conditioned we couldn’t be happier with our stay. The breakfast in the morning was a highlight! Love love the chicken sausage.

Everything was amazing nothing to dislike!

Very nice, local guest house / hotel. The rooms are just simple concrete construction, but clean, well appointed rooms. It's suuuuuuper quiet at night, which was great. It's the best sleep I've had in a month. It's not on the water, and actually, that area of the island isn't great even when you walk just up to the beach out the back way, but it's close to the center, which is nice. One really nice touch is that even in a small place like this, they have drinks in the fridge if you feel like a late night beer in the garden area (all rooms face a nice, quiet garden area). And an even nicer touch is that they have free mama-Thai and Ovaltine etc 24 hours. That was awesome when we found ourselves snacky at midnight -- just made a cup of mama Thai. Breakfast was simple...toast, fried eggs, and chicken kaao-dom (super yummy). I live in Jomtien, and I'd go there again for a weekend just for the quiet room and the kaao-dom in the morning :)

The family who run the rooms is lovely and very friendly. There was a nice breakfast and plenty of free water every morning. The room was fairly basic but clean, with a good shower and efficient air conditioning. The owner gave me a lift to the pier which is only a few minutes walk.

The traffic in the town is very busy with too many scooters so be careful when walking around

the breakfast was good and they had so many complementary goods that you could take throughout the day. the people running the hotel were extremely nice and so welcoming! they helped us with any questions and were always eager to make our stay better. the beds were huge and very comfortable and everything was clean.

the lighting in the room was not too cozy but that could easily be changed
