It was our second time here. At Paguro Beach inn we spent 10 fantastic days. Starting with Solaman, the manager, kind and ready to satisfy every request always with a smile, or a pat on the back after a "good morning". Then there are the two "experts" of the trips, who take you into their Maldivian world with the naturalness of their gazes: we saw manta rays, large and small sharks, rays, multicolored fish, swimming under our skin. We saw the Sand Bank again - done at seven in the morning: it was just us; owners of a strip of sand for a magnificent hour... We went to Desert Island with the little Sand Bank with some unique colors, as well as, thanks to the fantastic Captain who made us vice-captains for a day and pilot the speedboat for a short time. We had full board and were pampered every day by Ramesh and his "smart-eyed" colleague . Ramesh is kindness personified, we have often chatted and smiled, as well as naturally asking you for the dishes on the à la carte menu for lunch; as well as bringing you the two bottles of water per meal included in the offer. Dinner and buffet breakfasts; always plentiful and varied; I loved the salads, the fish, the pasta with tomato sauce, chapati and mashuni and the cake with carrots and cinnamon ....a sign that there are special people in the kitchen. Every two days the room is redone ; two other nice and jovial people take care of the cleaning. The room was spotless. With them we played with towels to compose various shapes ... In the morning at seven you go to the beach a stone's throw away literally barefoot you find yourself on a golden beach with a breathtaking sea panorama. The coral reef is the best in the Maldives; we toured other places but this one has a variety of unique fish and corals, as well as a transparent water colour; we also saw and played several times in the morning with sea turtles rising to the surface from the seabed. Unparalleled.

The balance of price and quality is super👏🏻 We were lucky to spend a whole week in the hotel without other guests! It was an incredible experience. We stayed for 15 days and we liked everything. The food, although simple, was delicious! Special thanks to our waiter, he was very kind and friendly! He makes this hotel a 5-star experience! शुक्रिया ! 🙏🏼 Also, thank you for the special dinner. It was nice!)

The downside was the Wi-Fi. It worked very slowly. When the hotel was fully booked, the speed was around 3 megabits. P.S. Although it's not related to the hotel, the island was a bit disappointing. It doesn't look like it does on Google Maps. A large portion of the scenic beach is covered in sand and pebbles. They make the island look larger. Be prepared for this.

Great stay at Paguro in Ukulhas!! Rooms very clean and comfortable. Amazing kindness of the staff. Good food at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Well managed the excursions by their team. Paguro is less the 30mt from the beach, great deal.

Not so much sunchair on the seaside. Could be useful a clothes drying rack on the balcony

The location is very good, 2 minutes from the beach, transfer from the port to the hotel is provided, the hotel is very clean, cleaning is done daily, beach towels are provided, free air conditioning, but TV programs are no longer free, sunbeds are I find it on the beach for free.

I had half board, and breakfast and dinner were a la carte, probably because it was not the season. The food portions were large, but the food was a bit monotonous, I even asked the management to improve the dessert at dinner, because in the first days we had a choice of ice cream or fruit for dessert. But probably the diversity of the food improves in the season

Hello guys! We spent a week in Ukulas and we liked it very much. We had a booking with half board, the food was a mix among maldivian dishes, european ones as well as indian. Food was very tasty, even the pasta!! As Italian I would have never considered to say something like this when eating pasta abroad. Personal was very welcoming, helpful, kind and talkative. My boyfriend and I loved our stay here and the island itself. Very good for snorkeling. Hotel located close to the main beaches. I would certainly come back!

The property is a very short distance i.e. 2 mins from the beach so it was very convenient and 10 mins walk away from the ferry terminal. We were received by the hotel manager Solaman and he made arrangements for our return i.e. booking the ferry and dropping us off early morning to the terminal, which was a nice touch. The guests are provided with beach towels that can be replaced for cleaner one every 2 days. The staff are really helpful special mention goes to Ramesh who was always smiling and very polite along with the Chef Gamini who catered for our dietary requirement i.e. green chillies, nice and spicy lentil curry. We were on half board basis so made full use of the breakfast and dinner. The chef catered for everyone in the buffet such as grilled fish, flavoured rice, veg and non-veg option. Plenty of water bottle on offer for night or to take it to the beach and are replaced if you were to leave the empty bottle(s) outside your room. Free of charge snorkelling kits were also available to use that came handy. Kettle is provided with coffee and sugar but no milk but you can ask for it. Bathroom is reasonably equipped with Shampoo, Body Shower and toilet tissues. Rooms are cleaned every 2 days and you need to leave the sign on the door otherwise it might mot happen. We had access to the balcony and enjoyed sitting their in the evening to soak up the atmosphere. The beach itself was not very busy and we were able to get the sunbeds easily on the whole stretch. If you are travelling from UK, you do not need to take any additional plugs as the socket is designed to accept normal chargers. Buy the mosquito repellent from the local shops costs around $2.00 as these were more effective than the one I carried from the UK.

No hand soap in the bathroom. Toilet tissue holder fixed in an awkward place to access No hot water in the wash basin. Wifi was not great 5/10. Desserts are not their forte. No Ala carte menu.

Great beach, the island itself is nice and clean, and the staff at the hotel is very sweet and helpful. Quickly addressed any issues we had. Had snorkeling equipment for free borrowing. Great value for the money, overall.

The Internet didn't work well after sunset (sometimes going out completely). The internet is pretty good during the morning and daytime -- around 20 Mbps. The shower didn't have hot water for a while if someone in the adjacent room took it right before us. The food included in the price was OK, but not great. Breakfasts were the best part.

Excellent location on the island . The staff is absolutely amazing! Mohammed, the manager, is a terrific host, as is his entire team. They were professional, gracious and welcoming. Very clean, comfortable room. Small but very nice bathroom with glass- enclosed shower (no water flooding the floor!). Many wall hooks for hanging clothes. I know that sounds like an insignificant amenity, but most guest houses do not provide making unpacking a challenge! Internet worked most of the time. Very good cable TV, especially for news junkies like us (CNN, BBC, France24, DW)

Our room looked out onto the back of another guest house (zero privacy) and also to an adjacent abandoned highrise construction site.

The staff made us feel completely at home! They were always smiling and kind. The hotel is very clean, and they clean the rooms every two days. Beach towels are also provided, which is very convenient. They offer a variety of excursions, and you can easily arrange an activity each evening for the following day. They also organise transfers to and from the airport and the Ukulhas port, so you don’t have to worry about carrying your luggage. The beach near the hotel is beautiful, and there are great opportunities for snorkelling. The island itself is small, and you can explore all of it within a couple of hours. During April, it’s wonderfully peaceful and less crowded. We had an amazing time and are already looking forward to returning to Ukulhas — we will definitely be choosing Paguro again!

Perfect holidays! Although at first we were put in not so nice room next to construction side, but it was changed after two days for a really good apartment with island view. The meals were absolutely delicious! It was either menu a la carte (wide choice) or bufet depending on the day. The meals includes a starter, main dish and a dessert. The water is included. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The hotel also offers excursions which also were incredible. They did everything they could so we can enjoy our time there. It's literally 1min from the beach, close to shops and restaurants. We 100% recommend the hotel!
