Amazing views, rooms were exceptional and amazing views good location too

Food was a big let down which was such a shame. Staff were great in the restaurant but one day I waited 30min for a horrible danish that was like chewing rubber. I was then told the breakfast would not be added to my bill to compensate for the work taking place at the hotel but it still was although the reception team did amend it right away. Another day I ordered eggs royal really disappointed with the portion size, texture and taste of the food all round.

Food was fantastic. Views from room was breath taking. Staff were always attentive, professional.

Arrived late, dining closes @ 9pm. No availability on the property for snacks. Those with health concerns (i.e. diabetes) should carry options. It is a VERY steep walk to the "beach". The "beach" is NOT walkable which was VERY disappointing. NO handicap access anywhere on the property. Long distance to airport. Cabs are outrageously expensive, need to research the bus system which is limited and not always reliable.

I liked so many things about this hotel. It was not overcrowded with people like larger hotels so amenities were available. We were there from a Wednesday to a Sunday so not sure if that made a difference. It was a very quiet hotel so no loud noises/parties from others. Very tranquil and peaceful environment. The private beach was my favorite! The view from our room was truly breathtaking. We spent hours sitting on the balcony just looking at the uninterrupted view of the ocean.

The stairs down to the beach were not fun, but absolutely worth the workout. It was my birthday and I did share that via written communications with the hotel when they reached out to me, it would have been nice to have some acknowledgement of it like a note in the room or some other small gesture.

Location is perfect. Beautifull designed rooms. Edge water suites have the best and most unobstructed views. Request level 2 or greater though as level 1 rooms have a garden obstructing the view.

The only issue we had was that our room was on the car corner of Edgewater. Construction for the hotels expansion is ongoing directly next store and we frequently had a view of construction workers looking up at us … FROM OUR BED. Staff was friendly, but for a privacy issue they didn’t seem to care. Offered to change us to other rooms but the views weren’t the same. And couldn’t even speak to the manager myself after multiple requests.

The location is fantastic, wonderful views from the room and a few steps down to some nice beach walking (during low tide). Sleeping with the door open to the waves all night was perfect. The staff was very friendly and mostly helpful. We felt like they were training some new members and there a few missteps, but nothing dramatic. The food at Surf is excellent. We enjoyed several breakfasts, a lunch, and two dinners -- all top notch. The weather the last week of March was outstanding. We don't like it too hot. We took advantage of whale watching season out of the Dockyard too. There is a rail trail nearby for walking.

The coffee was watery and weak. The cost for everything is a bit high even by Bermuda standards.

Te restaurant was closed for renovations for the first couple of days. The hotel did provide a boxed breakfast and lunch for all guests as well as free shuttles to bring us into town for dinner. They also have the best beach for you to enjoy. It is very spacious and so quiet. It is certainly an hidden gem. Our accommodations were top notch, what an incredible view! The kitchen has everyting you could possibly need to cook a meal. Also, thank you to Flo who took very good care of us for the duration of our stay.

The pool is very small but we got to take a look at the new pool which is nearly completed. It is located just a few steps from the beach and it is stunning!

Nice large rooms with amazing ocean views. The beach was one of the best on the island plus it was private. Staff were very polite and always willing to help. There is a bus stop right outside which makes it easy to grab a bus and head anywhere on the island. Restaurant is brilliant.

Housekeeping could be better. One day our room was not done, next day the towels were picked up from the floor and hanged up dirty. The hotel is a bit secluded, far from many places of interest.

The room had a jaw-dropping view and everything was just so modern and new and shiny. Beautiful, clean architecture, integrated well into the cliff. A heated towel rack in the bathroom was almost too good to be true. Also, the seawater infinity pool right by the beach is just amazing. And as the beach is surrounded by cliffs and access points are limited it is nice and quiet there - no hordes of other tourists. Getting back up to the room from the beach is a bit of a (2 minute) “hike”, i.e. don’t go if you can’t do steps or steep hills - but absolutely 100% worth it. SO beautiful!

Not specific about this accommodation but I was shocked about prices for food in Bermuda in general.

The location and the view were really good. The hotel and the rooms were very clean. Staff were nice and steady said hello. The beach was great and felt very private. I felt very safe in the hotel.

The room service to clean your room was additional charges which is fine but for the price of one night stay it would be nice to be included. The construction was fine but two days of my four night stay there were construction right outside my room and I had to close the curtains and wasn’t able to enjoy the view. The seat was amazing and wonderful, it would have been so much better without the construction but I understand and I still had a memorable and happy experience :)

The most amazing place for location and peace and quiet. Hardly saw another soul on the pristine pink sand beach and coral reef. Really enjoyed the snorkelling! My villa was amazing and far too good for a business trip (I could've fitted all my colleagues in there with me!) The place will be even better once all the pools and the new restaurant are ready.

If you are looking for atmosphere it probably isn't the place for you. I sat at the bar one night on my own (no-one else in there) and in fact it sometimes felt like a ghost town. But great for seclusion! As a Brit I quite enjoyed eating breakfast in the rain on the terrace by the pool but others didn't seem so keen! I was at work a lot of the time but wish I could have tried the yoga. The food was fine but limited and I would have loved a smile and a kind word from the serving staff (had great chats with the gardener though- what a lovely man!)
