The view from the window was excellent and it was very convenient to have an onsen bath connected to the hotel. The convenience store was also convenient and I liked the breakfast buffet a lot.

The hotel is pretty secluded so there aren’t any options if you want to go out somewhere unless you want to wait for the shuttle. I didn’t mind because I was looking for a place where I could relax alone.

The free onsen with outdoor pool, sauna and steam room was excellent. The free regular bus service to the Seven Eleven, and/ or Kita Hiroshima Station, was very useful. The views from the room and restaurant were magnificent. The breakfast was delicious.

It wasn't possible to reserve, or have an evening meal at the hotel. There are additional charges to use the fitness equipment, and the swimming pool. There was only one ancient coffee machine available at breakfast, which meant queuing. It also kept breaking down so that getting a coffee became a chore.

Shuttle from Kitahiroshima to hotel was very convenient. I loved the outdoor onsen, winter view from the room was beautiful, had a pleasant stay.

The hotel is in the middle of their own golf course. We tried to go for a walk to appreciate the scenery but encountered numerous signs saying no access unless playing. There is nowhere to walk or run apart from a busy road.

The location was beautiful, snow and forest with mountains in the distance. The breakfast was good, there was a wide selection, accompanied with great views. The room has an old school charm to it, it's not modern but it fit right. There's a regular shuttlebus, which I recommend using, as it was 2000 yen for a taxi from the nearest station.

They don't say no tattoos allowed in the hotspring. Other hotels do, so you know not to book them. I was very disappointed and frustrated to learn that I couldn't use the hotspring. It was my main reason for choosing this place. Instead I was given a couple of bags of hotspring minerals to use in my bathtub, that annoyed me as well. I can do that at home.

Half the bathroom floor floods when you shower. The floor is warped and peeling from the water damage. The room shouldn’t be used with that much water leaking every time.

The staff were friendly. The location was good, as we were looking to stay in KitaHiroshima. (There aren't many other options there.) The room was clean.

The hotel was old, and the facilities were, too. The bed was hard, and the in-room bathroom only provided the minimum. The hotel is good for a quick stay, but not comfortable enough that I'd want to stay there multiple nights.

There is no restaurants around the hotel but restaurants in the hotel are poor or closed.
